Turnda Black Leather Power Recliner with Shiatsu Massage & Cupholders

Pros: Looks very elegant and is comfortable to sit in.

Cons: Depends on an electric motor for both reclining and massage. First the massage connection stopped working, then it stopped reclining.

Tried to contact warranty provider and told it would be several weeks before it would be fixed.

Guess my dad with Altzheimer's is going to have to find another place to sit.

Very unhappy with the product and the service. By the looks of the reviews, I am not alone.

NewEgg should not threaten their reputation by selling and servicing this product.

Pros: There are no pros for either the chair or for Newegg.com or UltraShield who supposedly holds the warranty. Worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Cons: This power recliner was making a horrible sound when it arrived. It took several weeks for the technician to come and install the new massage unit. It still did not work. Then they sent a new "computer" for it which was installed yesterday (10-12-2012). The wire had been cut and reattached with black tape and it still did not work. I continue to be told that since it has been over 30 days that I cannot get a refund. This is the worst runaround that I have ever received from a merchant. I have been trying since May when I purchased it to get it resolved. I bought the power recliner for my son who is wheelchair-bound.

Pros: -Chair looks nice
-Didn't work but they sent us out a replacement part for us (took 2 days)
-Feels comfortable

Cons: -Doesn't work (the massage machine starts making this really loud grinding noise, when its gets to the bottom)
-Not real leather
-According to the person I talked to, they discontinued this model because theres been so many problems with it

Pros: Great Chair, nice and comfortable, very stylish. It gives a great massage. It was very easy to put together, took less then 1/2 hour to unpack and start my first message. Newegg is fantastic with shipping and delivery. I paid less then 300 dollars for the chair - it will serve as a self given birthday gift - thanks new egg!

Cons: I wish you could concentrate the message in one area.

From day one I own the chair, the restoration function from recline position does not work, the chair stays in recline mode....

Pros: I got this during the promo for 200 off, so it's worth paying 600 for. It's a comfortable chair, not too wide and definitely a space saver. If you watch the video, it reclines in a way that actually pushes forward instead of just going back alone. So this is perfect if you want it a few inches away from a wall in your room.

Cons: The plug in cord is only 3 ft long, so you'll definitely need a extension cable. They claim that this chair is leather, but it's actually a Leather/Polyurethane blend. They fail to mention that until you receive the box with it written on the side of it. It doesn't recline all the way back, just as far as the video shows. The shiatsu massage is limited (very basic) on positions and only goes up and down. You can not stop the massager in one position if you need more attention in one are of your back.

One of the biggest pet peeves was they sewed in the plastic cover that says "Shiatsu Massage" to the foot rest so you have to be VERY careful on pulling that off without tearing the stitching from the leather. Even after "pulling it off", you are left with a lot of plastic left over and sticking out of the end of your foot rest. Poor manufacturing design.

Other Thoughts: For $600 or less, it's worth it...otherwise I would purchase a genuine leather chair and do away with the massage option for that price.
