1 out of 5 eggsnot a 75 Watt replacement

Pros: 10 Watts

Cons: 636 Lumens is not at 75 Watt incandescent replacement
40 Watt incandescent = 430 lumens
60 Watt incandescent = 800 lumens
75 Watt incandescent = 1100 lumens

4 out of 5 eggsSlight Delay but serve the Room Well

Pros: Cool to touch, can adjust room lighting by unscrewing a couple even if they have been on for hours. Nice clean light. Bright. Cool temperature also reduces the heat at the dinner table. Good value when I got them on sale.

Cons: Slight delay when turning on, not nearly as noticeable as some other cheaper LED bulbs I purchased at C0stc0 recently. Expensive.

4 out of 5 eggsCollection LED

Pros: Works well on dimmer switches. (I've had problems with SunSun bulbs which claimed to be dimmable, so this is no small accolade.)
Warm light for an LED light. Most tend to be a much harsher light. (You will pay a price for warmer light in terms of brightness--see other thoughts.)

Cons: Somewhat heavy for its size.

Other Thoughts: I would have to agree with other comments that it does not produce the same light as a 75 watt incandescent. However this goes with getting the warm light bulb. If you don't mind a harsher light, there is a 10 watt (same power usage) 905 lumen "Daylight" bulb by the same manufacturer which will be much brighter.

1 out of 5 eggsNot 75W lumen - Way less than half!

Pros: It provides low lumen for the money.

Cons: This bulb is not even in the ballpark with only 635 lumen spec. A 75W incandescent bulb outputs 1100 lumen (volume of light). This bulb is spec'd between a 40W and 60W incandescent. Even at the reduced price, it is no bargain if you need true 75W lumen.

Other Thoughts: Incandescent Bulb and LED Bulb Lumens

To replace a 100-watt incandescent bulb, look for an LED bulb that gives you about 1600 lumens

Replace a 75W bulb with an LED bulb that gives you about 1100 lumens.

Replace a 60W bulb with an LED bulb that gives you about 800 lumens.

Replace a 40W bulb with an LED bulb that gives you about 450 lumens.

2 out of 5 eggsbrightness is over stated

Pros: saves energy, clear white light

Cons: not as bright as claimed

Other Thoughts: a 75 watt blub is roughly 1000 lumens. This blub is rated on the package at 636 lumens. It is clearly not a replacement for a 75 watt blub.

5 out of 5 eggsGood so far

Pros: Good color light output but not equivalent coverage due to the directional nature of LED lamps.

Cons: Minor turn-on delay of about 1/2 second.

Other Thoughts: Heavy. Not significant for a single-bulb fixture but with a large multi-bulb hanging fixture it may be a problem.

5 out of 5 eggsbright light

Pros: compared to a CFL bulb this lasts many times longer, doesn't need "warm up time", and it doesn't flicker like some cheap LEDs and most CFLs when used in an outside light socket.

Cons: price, but that can be expected.

Other Thoughts: I have this as my light just outside my front door and the CFL I used to have there used more power, put out less light, and required (especially in winter) lots of extra time to warm up to full brightness.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent, bright, if you're good with 160 degree arc.

Pros: Consumes only 10W as designed, output is approximately 75W in LED brightness as prescribed.

Cons: 160 degree arc, as you can tell by the bulb - I only put this as a con due to the fact the standard bulbs and florescent bulbs I've always used have practically 360 degree lighting, it will just take positioning adjustments to get used to it.

Other Thoughts: LED light is tinged with a very slight blue, as commonly found in bright LED lights, fairly hard light, not soft/warm at all.
