5 out of 5 eggsExcellent bulbs

Pros: Nice bright daylight color lamps. Very cool to touch, and very easy on eyes even when you look at them.

Cons: I got them on sale and there is a 1.99 shipping too. Otherwise regular prices are quite high.

5 out of 5 eggsBright and amazing

Pros: Super bright
Pure White light
Low energy

Cons: this doesn't bother me in the slightest but might someone else but it takes about half a second to fully turn on.

It is rather heavy, so careful what you put it in.

Other Thoughts: I am looking to change over my home to bright efficient lighting since i have a room mate who doesn't know how to turn lights off. expensive at the start but eventually will save money, especially when i am not buying a new bulb every month.

5 out of 5 eggswhat it says on the tin

Pros: I measured the power consumption with a Kill-A-Watt and found they were just below the manufacturer's rated consumption. The light output is of good intensity and quality, although the color temperature is a little too blue for my taste. They haven't burned out or dimmed in three months and the bulbs have no mercury or glass to spill or shatter.

Cons: The price is still a little bit high but at less than $10 each they're a good replacement for a burned-out CFL or incandescent.

Other Thoughts: A LED bulb running 4.5 hours per day with electricity costing $0.17/kwh will save enough electricity in 3-4 years to pay for itself (compared to a 15 watt CFL, assuming the LED bulb costs $9). This is assuming that the CFL does not burn out. If you include the marginal utility of having a bulb that never shatters or leaves a mess of glass and mercury, the repayment time is sooner.

3 out of 5 eggsA VERY White light

Pros: Brighter than I expected

Cons: The light is a VERY white light. Not like a standard lightbulb. I would use it in a garage or basement, not a living area.

Other Thoughts: Good value and perfect if you like VERY white light.

5 out of 5 eggsbright

Pros: seems brighter then a clear 75 watt bulb it replaced

Cons: may be too bright for somewhere you need just a 40 watt bulb

5 out of 5 eggsCollection LED A19 40 Watt Daylight Bulb

Pros: Nice almost pure white light. Works great in twin bulb fixture for hallway or kitchen pantry

Cons: Takes about a half second or so to light up, but that's not bad. Still a little expensive for a light bulb though.

Other Thoughts: Nice bulbs for the bucks....

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Bright daylight light. Durable and low heat emitted (at least from my set)

Cons: Slight delay when turning on the lights, but nothing to whine about.

Other Thoughts: I have since ordered other LED lights from Newegg and found they have no delay in lighting, but that is my only complaint. the delay is less than half a second so it really is nothing to complain about, but I had to find some kind of a con right?

5 out of 5 eggsClean Clear Spectrum

Pros: Much like having sunlight indoors. Vast improvement over CFL performance and typical warmer spectrum.

Cons: Price point ... other than that none.
