Rosewill RHSD-11001SS Automated Soap Dispenser

Pros: It looks nice, convinient

Cons: did not make it to two months, the dispenser is dead.
Also, I had to replace batteries every 2-3 weeks. but new batteries cannot help anymore

Other Thoughts: nice concept, poor quality product, for the price I would give it 2 stars.

Pros: It's a nice thought

Cons: Its cheep, it doesn't work often. It leaks the soap at times when you don't want it to, such as picking it up to inspect why it is not working properly. lol

Other Thoughts: Newegg, thank you for this free item, but it is really poor quality.

Pros: Easy and reliable. Great for the kids bathroom. Got this for free when I ordered a printer cartridge. Ordering another one.

Cons: None so far. Learned quickly to keep it away from the kids water glasss in the bathroom to avoid inadvertent dispensing.

Pros: Dispenses soap automatically. Washing my hands hasn't been this fun in a while!

Cons: The motor isn't as fast as simply pumping a jot of soap by hand. The average automatic soap dispenser in a public restroom seems faster to me. But I'm still using it since it's more convenient and more aesthetically pleasing than a hand pump soap dispenser (they get messy quickly, don't they?) I'm not sure I would pay for a new dispenser if this one breaks (I got it free with another product) -- it's nice but I kind of feel like I don't really need my handwashing experience to be this high-tech ...

Other Thoughts: Contrary to the experience of other reviewers, my own experience is that the dispenser -does- work in well-lit areas also, not just in the dark. The sensor is more accurate in the dark, however. It takes a few tries to learn the correct hand trajectory that triggers the sensor when the lights are on. But with a bit of user experience, it works fine (at least for me -- granted, my bathroom isn't lit by a bank of HID lamps ...).

Pros: this is a soap dispenser. I didn't need but thought it'd be nice to have, hygenic, easy to use, not. Used four (4) new batteries and still, lasted about 2 days. I will throw away now.. what a waste of energy, to make, to send, to try it out..

Cons: cheap, doesn't work

Pros: Attractive stainless steel look.

Cons: I thought the device was defective and would not work. I turned lights off in kitchen and just happened to try the device. It turned on and delivered soap. Turned lights back on and device would not work. Place in a darkened corner under a cabinet and device worked.
Conclusion is that bright reflected light disables the sensor preventing soap delivery.

Pros: Works as advertised -

Cons: if by "as advertised" I meant "only in certain lighting conditions". It works, but only when the light for my bathroom is off, when the light is on the dispenser will not work.

I just got off the phone with Rosewill customer service, and I'll hopefully be speaking with a technician on monday. I don't know if this is a singular problem with my light sensor or if this is an issue that will affect all models.

Other Thoughts: It looks nice, and it dispenses just enough soap so when it works it works well.

Pros: none so far

Cons: doa, has never worked, red led lights up and flashes but that's all.

Other Thoughts: never had a problem with Rosewill stuff until now. Shipping
it back would cost more than it's worth.
