Pros: I like the color, it is bright enough, and it's an LED!

Cons: They take a full second to come on.

Other Thoughts: I purchased 2 for $12 (15-$3 off). For that price, I thought it would be worth it. If it weren't a hassle, I would return them because of the 1-second delay to power-on. Old CFL lights did that, but I have not heard of LED bulbs doing that. I thought LED bulbs were all instant-on. Obviously, not.

Pros: Brighter than I expected. All the reviews say it isn't bright, but it sees to be as bright as a 40w equivalent CFL, just more directional.

Cons: It is about the same length of a CFL bulb. Hopefully LED light bulbs will become more like old style incadescent light bulbs (or even better incandescent fan bulbs)

Other Thoughts: I bought this as a test to replace CFLs. In most applications this bulb would work just fine, but others a more traditional omnidirectional lighting bulb would be desired, at least I think. At a discount though, these bulbs are a great value. If they fit your needs, snap them up. If you're not sure, buy one and try it.

Pros: Overall, a very good LED lamp. The stated lumens & color temp seem about right. Will be ordering others.

Cons: Hope they get cheaper so I can buy many more of these. Although the 600 lumens are probably correct, I doubt that it is equivalent to a 55 watt bulb.

Other Thoughts: Those that complained about the color temp apparently didn't check the specs. The color temperature is listed as 4500K, which is not a "warm" light. I prefer this temp rather than the 3000K lights which seem way too yellow/orange to me.

Pros: Light is white and bright. I would say every bit as bright as a 55 watt lightbulb should be.

Cons: Doesn't fit the light fixture I bought it for. The plastic above the threads make it to wide and won't screw down far enough to touch the light socket contact.
Doesn't dim. It does fit a lamp with a wall dimmer but when it's turned down it flickers and goes out.

Other Thoughts: I bought the bulb for a upward facing lamp in a room with my plasma TV. The bulb isn't much good to me for anything else except maybe my drop light.

Pros: It appears this light will fit in most Edison fixtures, and the price is low.

Cons: The light from this bulb is very artificial looking. I have purchased other LED bulbs, and worked with a company designing them. Getting that warm color that comes from an incandescent light has always been tricky when dealing with LEDs, but I have seen other companies come much closer than this light has (3M LED Advanced).

Other Thoughts: For now this light will be ok for an area that isn't used often, but I don't plan on using it in an area I spend most of my time in.

Pros: Energy Efficient

Cons: Misrepresented. 600 lumens is more like a 40 watt bulb. A 60 watt incandescent bulb is more like 800 lumens. Also color temp is blue. Incandescent bulbs are more like 3,000 degrees. To replace a 60 watt bulb look for a 12 watt LED.

Pros: low energy

Cons: low light, barely lights a room

Pros: LED is a very long lasting lighting technology. Bulb seems durable.

Cons: Output is NOT 55 watt Equivalent. More like 40 watts. It is not unusual for companies to exaggerate their products proficiency, but it is annoying.
