2 out of 5 eggsComplete junk I got taken by these rotten bulbs

Pros: Good only for lighting the ceiling. Lights only the top portion of the bulb. Might be useful in a wall sconce with down facing bulbs I.e. bathroom lighting.

Cons: Only the top 1/4 of these bulbs produces any light at all. Utterly useless for lighting in a desk lamp or any floor lamp with the bulb facing up. If you use it in a desk lamp or table lamp all the light shines up to the ceiling.

Other Thoughts: Thanks for nothing another useless Shell Shocker. Bought 3 they all work which is the only reason for 2 stars not 1 star.

5 out of 5 eggsNice

Pros: Bought 3, all work good. I love this Rosewill bulb because it almost no lag time. Another brand has to be used together with this one because of the long lag time. No difference in brightness compared with a 60W CF bulb.

Cons: Heavy.

Other Thoughts: 25000 hours of lifetime is enough for the price tag.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Warm White

Pros: Not Too expensive, seems to work well. Seems well built, solid.

Cons: This is a harsh light. Not warm at all.
Gets 1 egg for misleading listing.
Not as advertised. Not even Close.

5 out of 5 eggsThey ARE GREAT

Pros: They are brighter than I expected. This bulb can easily replace a 60-75 watt bulb in most environments. In dark walled rooms it seems to have trouble with radial light but in light color walled rooms this bulb is amazing for the price.

Cons: none so far.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT alternative to CFL

Pros: These bulbs are instant on, very bright, and almost indistinguishable from standard incandescent bulbs - except that they use about 90% less energy and last forever. These work GREAT in "can" or track lights such as in a kitchen.

Cons: They are a little expensive, and they are somewhat heavy due to the beefy aluminum heat sink. This is not a problem in most applications, but if you have a desk lamp with a gooseneck, it might make the lamp "top heavy." The other limitation is that it does not have true 360 light dispersion like a traditional bulb - there is not as much light from the side of the bulb as from the "front" or "top" - that should be obvious from the picture. But these work GREAT in "can" or track lights such as in a kitchen.

Other Thoughts: I've ordered more as they come up on "Shell Shcoker" deals...

3 out of 5 eggs40W Equivelent

Pros: ...

Cons: ...

Other Thoughts: a 60W standard incandescent is 840 lumens. At 581 this is more like a 40W replacement.

1 out of 5 eggsLess than a 50W

Pros: Can't leave this blank.

Cons: 580 lumens is less light output than a 50W incandescent. If you put this where a 60W was, you won't be impressed by its brightness.

Other Thoughts: EU requires advertising by light output instead of power consumption. I wish US sellers had to do the same. I can't help feeling like they're trying to deceive buyers.
