5 out of 5 eggsGreat bulbs!

Pros: 4 in one pack
4.5 watt and give off an amazing amount of light for it

Cons: I had to purchase 4 at once because newegg sold out of the single pack

Other Thoughts: Purchased on sale and they were worth it. For the normal $35 price tag, you might as well get CFL and bit the difference in energy costs....

3 out of 5 eggs3 out of 4 work

Pros: They are brighter and somewhat smaller than expected - that's OK

Cons: One quit working second day of use so reliability is in question.

Other Thoughts: Would return for replacement if postage wasn't so high

4 out of 5 eggsBright light

Pros: Nice bright lights, replaced 25W incandescent. Discount price was great.

Cons: These bulbs are a lot brighter than the 25 watts we replaced, a bit too bright when used on a fixture with more than just a couple of bulbs.

Other Thoughts: Here's hoping they use a lot less electricity and last a long time

4 out of 5 eggsSmall bulb with good quality light

Pros: These bulbs do an excellent job, especially where color may be an issue, such as in a bathroom or dressing area where makeup is applied.

Cons: I found a low level of RF interference where the bulbs are used near a radio. Also, the bulbs are smaller than standard incandescent bulbs.

Other Thoughts: As the cost of LED bulbs continue to go down, they should eventually become more affordable and more popular than CFLs.

5 out of 5 eggsGood choice for E26 4-bulb lighting

Pros: My kitchen has 4 bulb lighting/fan unit, but unlike most 4-bulb lighting fixtures, this doesn't take the lower wattage candelabra bulbs but instead the standard E26 ones. Using 4x60w equivalents provided a blindingly-high amount of light, so much that I had to keep two sockets empty. This created the downside of dark spots in the room, plus an empty-but-energized socket is a shock risk.

I was looking for a set of 4 less bright E26 bulbs that don't need to be dimmable, and I came across this set at a very reasonable price. It set fits the bill perfectly! I am always skeptical of claims of 'instant on' bulbs, but these are definitely the fastest-to-full-light CFL or LED bulbs I've ever owned and are instantaneous or at least reasonable close as even the most picky person could appreciate.

Cons: The price seems to have steadily increased since my purchase.

Other Thoughts: I should have done more research, since watt to lumen ratios tend to be subjective. It ended up more bright than I would have liked, but that's not a fault of the product. I haven't found many lower powered E26 socket bulbs anyway.
