Rosewill Design

Unlike most LED bulbs on the market, the Rosewill bulb has done away with the heavy external heatsink by replacing it with our 3rd generation internal ceramic cylinder. Our new ceramic cylinder design not only offers a more efficient cooling method, it also produces superior lighting emission when compared with regular LED bulbs.

Most LED bulbs have LEDs arrayed in one direction only. This means that light is emitted in a 120-degree radius, resulting in bright illumination in only the front part of the bulb.

Rosewill’s 3rd generation internal ceramic cylinder provides an even 300 degree all around light source.

Cons: It would be nice if all LED bulbs were dimmable, but honestly, I have very few fixtures that need them, so it's not a major drawback here. Other Thoughts: Just purchased another 18 of these after being fully satisfied with the first six. We'll see how they hold up over time, but no issues in the first three weeks. Cons: 4 of the 24 purchased have already failed. One failed the first day. 3 others have failed in only a couple of months. They are being used in standard, non-dimmable fixtures. Other Thoughts: Bought another brand of DIMMABLE 60 watt equivalents from another vendor for $3.85 each with free shipping and NONE have failed. Having a standard bulb shape allows the use of clip-on shades. All glass enclosure permits even distribution of light. I used this to replace a 40-watt equivalent CFL in my daughter's room and we both like the appearance and illumination.
