Cons: The wood base is cracked in several places where the bolts attach the arms. The defects in this product are obvious and the product should have never shipped from the factory. The covering material is described as “bonded leather” I am not sure how it can possibly be advertised that way as it appears to be plastic. Unfortunately this item is not the quality of product that we have come to expect from Newegg…

Pros: Lightweight but sturdy enough. The black "leather" with the wood has a nice contrast. The ottoman is a great addition and it can also be used to sit on, handy for putting on socks and shoes. Pretty comfortable out-of-the-box a bit firm, which is really a good thing but it will break in with use. Reclines pretty far, not quite flat but flat enough to fall asleep watchin' the pixels late at night. Can also double as an office chair. Not hard to put together, especially if you have put things together before and have the proper tools. Good tools will make for a quicker assembly then frustration and damage potential is greatly reduced.

Cons: Lightweight [but still sturdy enough ;) ], pricing is a bit high; but what isn't these days. I'm 6 foot and wish the chair back was at least 4 inches taller. Top of the chair comes only to upper neck height, so comfort level is decreased and fatigue is increased a bit, especially when reclining, no support for the noggin and gives me a neck pain and headache if I sit too long. But it is still not a deal-breaker.

Other Thoughts: I purchased from a big nationwide furniture store so I could try it before buying it. Even with the cons, I considered it not bad at all and fit what I was looking for. The chair has good feel and comfort. I knew the deltas before purchasing so I decided I can live with it

Pros: price but you get what you pay for

Cons: 100% worthless, barely good enough for my 9 year old to use as a gaming chair. This is my 1st review of anything and I had to do this to warn people of the LOW quality. Even at $199 this was a big mistake. The only reason I will keep it is because I have 3 kids (2 young ones) and if I bought a nice one it would get ruined anyhow.

Other Thoughts: Why couldn't they actually say what it was made of... instead of bonded leather.. please put...Bonded leather or reconstituted leather is not leather. It is a synthetic material made of varying degrees of plastic (generally polyurethane or vinyl) that may be spread over or mixed with ground-up leather and other substances, mechanically processed to give the appearance of leather,

Pros: At $100 off seemed like a good buy.
Newegg customer service is A+

Cons: This was the worst packaged commercial item I have ever seen in my entire life. Shipped from China with loose parts and hardly any padding what so ever. Wood surfaces of the two parts I opened were covered with scratches, scrapes and some non repairable gouges. I didn't need to open anything further.
The item in general was of light weight material. Hardly work the money even at a discount and in perfect condition. I am very disappointed.

Other Thoughts: Went through the RMA process and it was going to cost over $65 to return this item. A phone call to customer service and the cost was waived. I've done business with Newegg for several years and this was only my second return. In both instances they went out of their way to make things right.
