Other Thoughts: Bought these for the wife and daughter for Christmas. They both love them and are using these pillows as their primary pillow now. I was surprised at the quality of the materials and they are surprised at the comfort. It did take a day to get used to them, but they wouldn't switch back to regular pillows now.

Pros: The memory foam conforms to my noggin quite nicely, and is only slightly warmer than my down pillows.

Cons: The smell is horrendous, and has not gone away after nearly a month of airing out. The cases for the pillows cannot be washed, only spot cleaned.

Other Thoughts: I purchased a pair of these as a Black Friday deal, figuring I'd give "cool gel" a try. Unfortunately, when you unbox these Kathy Ireland (seriously?) pillows, the chemical stank is overwhelming. My girlfriend and I couldn't even be in the same room as these pillows, let alone sleep on them. We've left them to air out for almost a month now, and the smell has faded a lot... but not enough to put your head upon. I hope that I'll be able to use one of these at some point in the future, but it will take at minimum another week until I can bear to have my nose near the things.
