I buy these when on sale. I replace the older bulbs throughout the house when one fails. There is very minor loss of brightness and the lights are not that hard on the eyes. I took a risk with this rando-brand and it really paid off. The bulbs were dim-able by my existing incandescent dimmer, which saved me lots of money by not having to buy an expensive LED dimmer. Instant on. Beautiful, bright light. Nice beam angle for an A19 LED bulb. Cons: Not really 3,000K, more like 3,500K. Only con. Other Thoughts: I wish I could give it 4.5 eggs. Like I said in the cons, the listed light is 3000K, but they are closer to 3,500K I think. Nevertheless, the light is yellow enough (like an incandescent) to satisfy me. And in fact, I've actually grown to like the light temperature. I wish I could go back in time to buy another combo of these. I didn't feel this should knock it down to 4 eggs though. My family loved the look of these bulbs over the silly CFL. I really recommend these bulbs, but LED is only worth it if its on a super combo sale. That way their longevity and yearly savings overcome the cheap cost of a similar CFL at BLAHmart. The best thing is the light it more pleasing than CFL light, for some, when you make the switch, you will want to replace every CFL before they even burn out. Did you find this review helpful? Says it can be in damp areas and good for enclosures on the bulb. Bright! Cons: Hot heatsink... About as hot as an actual 60 watt bulb though. A little weird looking and heavy.
