Pros: -Good range of colors
-Decent range on the brightness control
-Looks stellar in in a gaming setup, you can really set the mood per game

Cons: -Burned out the first wall wart in a week or so, the second one seems to have issues(see other thoughts)

Other Thoughts: I purchased two complete kits to have enough strips for my project, figured the second wall wart and IR unit might come in handy for a second project down the line. In about a week my first wall wart quit working, no damage to anything, it just flicked off and never came back. Wasn't a huge issue, there's bound to be a bad one in every bunch, so I grabbed the one from the second kit and noticed it made my light strips flicker a little. I looked carefully at the small light on the wall wart itself and noticed that it was flickering too. I tried a few different outlets and even grabbed the other IR unit and the flickering is still there. I opted to just unplug the whole thing in case the flickering decides to become a bigger problem. Seems like a bit of a lottery with this kit.

Pros: Easy to install, nice range of colors, decent remote range. 3M tape keeps them in place. Installed at the top of the wall near the ceiling for indirect lighting and looks good. Remote works from the couch about 12-15' away from the receiver in direct line of sight.

Cons: White receiver, white strips, but the power cable is black. Really stands out. Power cable is only 3 feet and has the transformer on the plug. Power cable is too short and not easy to hide if you're trying to install them anywhere high.

3M tape sticks them in place nicely, but pulled off the paint when I had to reposition one piece at the end and re-seat the plug (last piece apparently wasn't connected solidly enough on first installation as it would stay red when the rest of them changed color; Worked ok after the re-seat). No switch or options to change receiving frequency if you purchase multiple strands or have another remote that ends up changing the settings inadvertently.

1 out of the 4 that I purchased fried when plugging it in the first time. Prompted me to test all of them to ensure they were ok. When plugging in the A/C Adapter, it normally has a blue light. If you see a red light, unplug it immediately. The first one I plugged in was red, a few seconds later started hearing fizzling, then it popped and released it's magic smoke, light went out on the adapter and I unplugged it immediately. Other 3, no problems at all.

Other Thoughts: Line doesn't really have much give and is pretty stiff. If you plan on bending it around something, that really won't work. They do include 2 'corner extensions' in order to get it around a corner or make a bend. If you plan on using them, make sure you measure so the bend/corner is between 2 segments where they connect. They do allow you cut/shorten a piece, but then there is no way to continue the run or connect anything else without soldering.

My receiver remote changes the colors when I don't want it to. 1 changes to purple, 3 changes to green and 9 changes to some yellow/green.

Test the A/C Adapter immediately so you aren't outside the window of returning it for a replacement by the time you get around to installing it.

Newegg was good and sent me a pre-paid shipping label for the replacement. Otherwise I would have had to pay @$10 to return something that only cost $20 to begin with. That would have been No Bueno.

Pros: I was very surprised by these LEDs. I had read about issues with the remote and the connections but it seems so far that they are working perfectly with amazing color selection and a very easy setup.

Cons: The connectors they add to use in bends are sort of short (3in roughly) but thats probably because I was not using the connectors entirely properly so no loss there. Just be wary if you do need the spacer length.

Other Thoughts: I bough two of these on sale and for 45$ total with three day shipping (came in about a day after order was placed actually, very impressed) and it was well worth the buy. Even if these were not on sale I would have been happy with the buy and will buy more soon.

Pros: Casts a nice light and easy to string together. many options for colors if you get a good one. Adhesive quite good on strips. Just be sure to clean and dry surface before installing.

Cons: Poor Quality Remote Control. Works once in a while but epic fail even with new battery installed. Clunky operator membrane buttons that rarely work even from 1 inch away. Giving Weiita company support email a shot and will update this review if I get a response.

Pros: Bright, brilliant colors, wireless remote

Cons: Power supply burned out randomly. I noticed that the lights were no longer on and checked the power supply to find that it was extremely hot and that some of the exterior plastic was warping. I immediately unplugged the supply, it looks like it burned out. Judging from the warping and how quickly it got hot it is possible that it could have started a fire if it was near anything flammable or if left plugged in unattended.
Unit was only plugged in for 4 hours this most recent time, I have used it for 9 hour stints regularly for the past week without issue.

Pros: Great lights was completely satisfied with them had no issues at all that was not already expected for the price.

Cons: None thus far will update late if any arise

Other Thoughts: I had a great time playing with these lights wish there was a little more range for the remote but I had already figured it would be short range for the price and design.

Pros: Plenty of LED strip segments
Vibrant color
Easy to set up/attach

Cons: Occasional loose connections between strips/connectors
Color selection slightly skewed
Only 2 connectors to change direction with the strips.

Other Thoughts: I bought two of these to underline my computer desk, and the underside of some of my furniture. I've been disappointed with how little actual strips you get in other boxes, so I was thrilled to see how much you get here. A fair warning that there are only two connectors, so you can only change direction twice (so for my desk, I only attached it to the sides and front, which worked just fine).

The colors are great and vibrant, although I did notice there isn't really a true orange/yellow color... despite what the remote shows it seems to transition from red to a greenish-yellow. The color modes are fun though... you have your flash, strobe (white only though), fade, and smooth transitions.

The strips are backed with 3M adhesive, which I'm sure if you want to move them about will lose their adhesive pretty quickly, but so far all mine have stayed in place very securely.

The connections between the strips can get a little loose, but I just secured them with strips of electrical tape, and it didn't cover up any of the lights. Great product, I would definitely recommend this to anybody that's looking for an affordable LED setup.

Pros: The lights are amazing and bright. The length is very long.

Cons: The adapter broke after a few hours of use. I checked it and it cracked and one of the prongs just fell out. Plus either its the remote or the receiver but theres a bad signal and it takes quite a few tries to get it to change colors or settings.

Other Thoughts: If I didnt have a universal adapter my product would have been broken and unusable right now.

Pros: I replaced the fluorescent light bulbs with the LED strip from Weiita after the original light bulbs were broken. Surprisingly, the LED strip works better with the fish tank, as the light is brighter without heating the aquarium. The aquarium is more beautiful with the LED strip.

Cons: The connections between two strips are not waterproof. I need to wrap them with water proof tap.

Pros: This is perfect light kit, and it has great features:
1. Easy to install;
2. You can extend the strips base on your need, either put all 8 together or just one;
3. It has remote control, you can control it anywhere in the room;
4. The remote can control not only the lighting styles, i.e. flashing, fading, but also colors, and there are 16 colors to choose from.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: Perfect for holiday decoration.
