5 out of 5 eggsGreat Card

Pros: 2GB and 4 display inputs for this price can't be beaten.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I'm not a very heavy gamer, so this review will surely be scoffed at by those that are. But this card runs the few games I do play masterfully.

5 out of 5 eggsSo far great!

Pros: So far this board has been great! Very easy set up and worked right out of the box!

Cons: Biggest board I have owned... Recommend a full tower but it does fit in my mid tower just fine!

5 out of 5 eggsSo far great!

Pros: So far so good. Card works great. I got lucky and got it on sale (sold out that day). I did quite a bit of research and most forums suggest this card for gamers. Stays cool and has yet to be pushed as far as graphics go!

Cons: Big (others are as well)

Other Thoughts: I would recommend a full size tower to maximize air flow!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat latency, amazing voltage.

Pros: Great latency timing 8-8-8-24.
Very low voltage @1.35V.
Super low profile - lots of clearance for CPU cooler.

Cons: Color's not great, but I honestly don't care.

Other Thoughts: I read the other reviews saying that the memory isn't stable at 1.35V and they had to jack it up to 1.5V for stability. I've not had that issue. I have an AMD based mobo and I manually input the timings and voltage in BIOS. Ran Memtest86+ with no errors. Very impressive performance for an amazing price.

3 out of 5 eggsOK for the price

Pros: Decent sound for the price.
Hook-up was straight-forward and easy
Can be mounted on a wall

Cons: Have to turn the sub-woofer on manually

Other Thoughts: I had wanted a sound bar to replace the stereo we had hooked up to our HDTV but for under a hundred I decided to try this one. The sound is decent but it's a real PITA to have to get up and manually turn on or off the sub. Really!! The sound was definitely better from the stereo so I may just save this for when we put an HDTV in our bedroom after the remodel is done. I'll keep it given the price I paid.

4 out of 5 eggsnice ssd

Pros: speed as advertized

Cons: not really a con to the SSD but to my system, Had to adjust bios setting and change controller to AHCI enabled, and switch from IDE tab to "ASSATA" which actually turned on all SATA connects to 6gbps and opened up the bandwidth flood gates to full max potential of the whole board as it seemed. took off 1 star to keep um honest. buy it.

Other Thoughts: added to a gigabit 970a ds3 already had seagate 750 hybrid drive which boots like an SSD.

5 out of 5 eggsIt is not messing around

Pros: Fast. Very, very fast with a healthy overclock. Image quality is excellent. The cooler on it is very effective and reasonably quiet even at higher RPM settings.

Cons: This card is huge, which is to be expected from a high-end card, but it undoubtedly will not fit in some cases. Make sure your case has enough space.

Other Thoughts: This is the best card I've owned, and I've had some good ones in their heyday (NV 7950GT & 9800GTX and this generation's Radeon 7850). For the price of this 7950, you will get a seriously fast piece of hardware, with excellent cooling, that will overclock to such an extent that you will be far surpassing 7970/GTX680 performance levels.

This card was built to be overclocked. I have this one set to 1100mhz core/1350mhz mem (using Sapphire Trixx), and it has done it with no fuss, cool temps and solid stability, and I'm quite sure it could go higher with little issue. 3DMark11 gives my current machine a P8067 score with the OC'ed 7950, which is a phenomenal score for a one-card set-up. In games, the performance is similarly solid. So far, I have tested it with Bioshock Infinite maxed, WoW on Ultra, and Skyrim maxed out along with some pretty hefty graphics mods, and this card maintains cool temps and no lag to speak of at 1920x1080 resolution.

HIS has built a winner here. It is a card that is fast enough with stock clocks, but once OC'ed, it is faster than almost any stock card you could buy right now. This includes the more expensive 7970, GTX680, and probably comes dangerously close to GTX780 levels of performance.

Bottom line is, this card is a beast, and if you're not afraid to OC your hardware (and this card begs you to do it), you are going to get a ridiculous level of performance for $300. Highly recommended.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Choice

Pros: Great probduct with a very substantial feel. This is not like some of those cables that feel like they would easily kink or rip. This feels like something Sir Edmund Hillary would have used to climb Everest while maintaining a solid network connection.

Cons: I should have ordered more.

4 out of 5 eggsRelatively problem free

Pros: The printer installed easily enough, considering the reputation of wireless printers being a bear to install. Under windows 8, the smart install wizard made the process relatively pain free. After plugging in and turning on the printer, and connecting the usb cable, the smart installer showed up in "Computer" and I was able to start the installer from there. After accepting license terms and some files were copied/extracted, the installer asks to choose wired or wireless installation. I chose wireless, and the installer asks a couple of questions about manual or automatic connection (I went with manual) and then asks about which network to use nearby. I chose our network, put in the key when asked, and then the installer pre-installed the drivers and then handed over the install to the OS after being asked to unplug the usb cable. After that the installer advertised hp-eprint which I declined, and the installation was done.
Windows 7 was connected next from a second computer, which was also very easy in that I downloaded the host-based (smaller footprint) driver and extracted the compressed file(see cons) and was able to choose the printer which was found by windows automatically on the network.
On a third computer I installed the printer with Kubuntu by going to settings-->System Settings and choosing printers under hardware. From there I tried to install an hp-cups driver which failed to print a test page. After cancelling the print job, power cycling the printer and deleting the installed printer, I installed the printer manually using the ip address and a foomatic print driver for this model printer.

Cons: I did do a firmware update, and was only successful after plugging in the usb cable again and changing the port for the printer to usb. The firmware update would not install over the wireless.
Also, when I tried to install in Windows 7 with the host-based driver it initially asked me to plug the printer in through usb; I declined and had to extract the driver manually and point the windows 7 printer installer to the resulting folder manually.

Other Thoughts: With some previous experience installing printers, this was an easy install.
