The assembly of ottoman all the bolts threaded in just so far but, not too end of bolts. All the bolts need replacement so that they can bottom out on the cup provided. One of holes to line up with back of recliner to the base had a weld going though and could not get the bolt in to attach the back to the seat. On top of that the whole recliner was filthy like somebody used in a mechanic's lunch room. I would NOT recommend Mac Motion recliners to anyone that includes my worst enemy..I canned the ottoman and used my old one from Lazy-boy. It was going to cost to much time and money to send it back.
