1 out of 5 eggsTruly awful

Pros: You can put a computer inside it.

Cons: Everything imaginable is wrong with this case. I'll go in order of magnitude, worst first:

1. The front panel is made of some weird, rubber-like material that becomes sticky and rubs off with time. It starts to attract dust and hair, which gets stuck. If you attempt to clean it with anything--water, soap, abrasive, whatever, it will just turn into tar and look even worse. Also, it's not really even even shaped to accommodate its own runners for drive bays, I have to hold in the quick-release tab on one side while I put the front panel back on.

2. Almost as a rule everything is attached to this case with 4 plastic tabs. There are two pairs of feet on the bottom, and one of the pairs had all four tabs break off, so I had no choice but to remove the feed altogether. That's when I learned that the bottom is bare sharp metal, but only after gouging my desk.

3. The side panel doesn't meet the side of the case well at all. You have to angle it in in a very particular way to get it to meet. This may just be a manufacturing defect on mine.

4. Good luck plugging and unplugging the cable for those two giant fans in the removable side panel. I broke the cable almost immediately.

5. The no-tools plastic runners for the 3.5" hard drive bays have this weird plastic bar that goes EXACTLY where your power & sata cables need to go. I have no idea why. It literally makes it impossible to use straight SATA cables, only 90 elbowed ones will work. This piece of plastic has NO function other than to make the case less useful. I actually cut it off all the runners just so I could manage the cables inside better.

I could go on but I won't. I'm getting a new case.

Other Thoughts: Never buy this horrible piece of junk. I don't know if it's even made anymore, but if it is, avoid at all costs.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case! 7 years and still going strong except the side fans.

Pros: - A lot of room.
- Great amount of hard drive space and space for additional fans.
- Very unique looking for its time. Loved the style.

Cons: - Absolutely ZERO cable management. If you have a module power supply, it isnt as bad.
- 250mm fans stop working after a few years. They WILL go out. The lights for them work fine, but the fans will stop spinning.
- The power supply mounts on the top of the case instead of the bottom and is held up by a railing that runs across the top. It is kind of poorly placed IMO. Not too big of a deal though.

Other Thoughts: - Overall, very solid case. Mainly got it for its external appearance and was not disappointed. I took off an egg because of the three cons above. Cable management is important and the fans only lasting 2 years tops is kind of annoying. I am trying to give a fair review, but in my heart it is 5 EGGS!

5 out of 5 eggsKept the case, loving it!

Pros: Lots of room, easy to work with, easy to move stuff around, and great air flow!

Cons: Be ready to replace the 250mm fans every 3-5 years. They just don't hold up. You can find replacements for around $20. Front cover doesn't have holes in the front for the fan, but it does have a vent that goes to the bottom of the front cover.

Other Thoughts: Used this case to build my father's computer for him, and just had to repair it for a bad DVD drive and the two 250mm fans. I'm also installing a 120mm in the back and a 120mm in the front and drilling some holes in the front to help airflow for that front fan. I was impressed with this tower when I first built it, and I'm impressed by it now repairing the computer that's within it. I might have to find me one on an auction site, since they don't seem to be sold here anymore.

5 out of 5 eggsBought in 07' Still running strong

Pros: Shear space inside! I built a dual opteron mobo and had 2x zalman cpu coolers with room to spare for wire managment and perfect airflow. Handles the long GPU cards with ease.

Cons: Front bezel clips are WEAK! If you even breath hard trying to change the front fan you will break the tabs and its all over for the front panel... The rubberized coating for the power switch on mine was excessive so when you pressed the switch the power button stayed pushed in,even with the spring tension it wouldnt pop back out, I had to use an xacto knife and trim off some coating to get the button to work properly.

Other Thoughts: I would love another one of these towers now that i know it's problomatic areas it has still been the best tower i have owned and has handled every rebuild i have thrown into it over the last 7 years! If they make a 2014 model of this classic newegg please stock it and i will pick it up!

4 out of 5 eggsOld faithful

Pros: Case is going on five years old and everything is still running strong. Haven't had a single problem. It's a bit of a dinosaur. I wonder what happened to xclio. The only thing that's started to stop working is half the logo that lights up on the front panel.

Cons: Well it came in with the edges of the front plastic where the temp and logo are displayed quite damaged. Mobo/graphics card had to be force fit a bit but I'm unsure if this is normal as this was my first and only computer build to date.

5 out of 5 eggsStill going stron....

Pros: Bought this thing back in early 2009 for my new i7 rig with ASUS p6T Deluxe. This sucker has ample room even when adding in GPU's, cpu coolers, etc. My LEDS and two fans are still working, fans dont make any noise. One of the feet broke off but that was my fault. Overall, been a great case.

Cons: Dust magnet, very large, some of the parts do feel cheap.

Other Thoughts: It feels very out dated and ugly looking but this is now and that was then. The cable management is non-existant but with some zip-ties was able to get it working.

2 out of 5 eggsEasy to build with, but bad fans/USB ports

Pros: Very roomy, large case that was very easy to build in. Looks pretty nice depending on your tastes. Case worked great for about a year.

Cons: I've built two PCs with this case, and in BOTH of them the fans failed within a year of use. At first they start making a light clicking sound, then the clicking gets louder and more frequent until they fail altogether. For what it costs to replace the fans you could buy an entire case, so once they're gone that's pretty much it.

Furthermore, in one of the PCs I've built with this case, the front/side USB ports just stopped working. They were barely even used, but one day they just stopped functioning.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent case

Pros: Ample room. Great flow through. Super easy to work inside. First time I didn't cut myself on sheet metal in builds.

Cons: fans bend easily

Other Thoughts: Worth it.

3 out of 5 eggsNice case, has issues.

Pros: • Large case, lots of space, great airflow
• Aesthetically pleasing

Cons: • Front panel is made with cheap plasic, it broke after a couple years.
• 250mm side fans last 2 years max. The bearings wear out and they start to make a lot of noise and eventually they just stop working altogether.
• Those fans cost around $30 a pop and they're harder to find these days.
• The case being so large is a pro, but also a con as it's rather cumbersome.

Other Thoughts: It was a great case at the time (I purchased it in 2007) but it's rather dated now and it's discontinued on newegg. I figured I would review it anyways!

4 out of 5 eggsVery Airy Tower Can

Pros: Great tower for space and airing. Easily fits everything I need and the huge side fans admit a mountain of air into the tower. LEDS on the fans look awesome as well.

Cons: Some materials are very cheaply made. HDD racks, optical drive covers, and front cover all feel cheaply made. Let me be clear: they do not feel like they will break but they are made of plastic and aren't as nice as a metal front/covers would be.

Also, They fans can be VERY loud if the power cable hangs in the fan which it can do sometimes if its not secured properly.
