2 out of 5 eggsFan Longevity

Pros: Just like it's predecessor, this case was whisper quiet and did a great job of keeping my system cool. It was no big deal having all these monster fans on it. Ran quietly and looks nice. Plenty of room for what I had:

-Vid Card
- 3 HDD
- 2 SSD

Cons: The side fans. I had the original version of this case from back in 2008, the URL of which is the EXACT same as this one for some reason. It didn't have fan controls, less top fans, but was just as decked out with fans. That thing ran quiet and fine for 4 years. Lasted me all the way to buying this new one on a whim to replace it after so long. The temp gauge gave out on that one in 2012 so I wanted to replace it since I couldn't fix it.

This case, that I bought to replace it, is barely a year old and already both side fans have seized up. I've taken them apart to put some lithium grease in there as a stop-gap solution, but that won't last more than a week at a time. Why would I spend around $50 on new fans for it when I can double that for a newer, better case from Newegg that won't give me grief another year down the road?

I'm dissapointed that this brand went from being one I suggested to everyone, to now being one of my few negative reviews and advice to stay away from.

1 out of 5 eggsAvoid.

Pros: BIG case...plenty of room. Looks nice.

Cons: These fans will's just a matter of when. They are cheaply made, and you will soon begin hearing the clack of them hitting the ventilation area on the outer case as they have come loose from where they are seated (simple magnetically bearings...nothing holding them in place for any amount of time). There is no fixing it once they do.

Also...the cables (power, reset, HDD LED, etc.) are WAY too short. I had to splice about 10" onto each one to get it to reach my mobo, which is an extremely typical form factor.

Other Thoughts: I scrapped this case after owning it for 8 months due to the problems listed above.

4 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Great airflow, tons of space. I have almost no trouble with this case. It's great for a first build.

Cons: My cons for this case is wire system is a mess. The fan control knobs on the top of case become loose and also me personally I don't like the plastic covering over the two side panel fans it seems kind of fragile.

Other Thoughts: Otherwise its a great case it's my first case ever and is serving me well with no major problems

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Fit

Pros: Case was able to fit my gigantic Thermaltake heatsink, 1kW PSU, and a GTX 680 with no issues. Huge side fans are next to silent and have kept my rig cool.

Cons: Front audio cables need to be longer, does not reach input at bottom of most motherboards.

Other Thoughts: First purchase from XCLIO, definitely will consider for next rig.

2 out of 5 eggsNot too impressed. It works though.

Pros: Good Airflow, Fan Controller and it fit my Noctua NH-D14.

Cons: Where to begin, NO CABLE MANAGEMENT. Unless my power supply and my case came with extraordinary short cables, good luck with organizing your cables. The front panel audio would not reach my motherboard and the usb plug barely reached. Top mounted power supply, asinine, further complicating the cable management. No dust filters, not a huge deal but with the fans pull in a lot of dust and my case is elevated off the floor 4 feet. Also one fan came with the wires pulled out, I fixed it with a soldiering iron.

Other Thoughts: Overall my biggest issue is the cable management. This was the case I bought for my first build and now that I have researched more and have experience I realize this case was a bad idea for me. I specifically waited 6 Months to review this to ensure I could list all my gripes and praises. I will be getting a different case.

4 out of 5 eggsStrong, Solid case.

Pros: large case, will take just about any motherboard you can throw in it.

good cooling: 10+ degree difference with my phenom CPU compared to my old case

fans even came pre-installed in the case, which was a nice surprise.

rock solid, feels like it won't break easily.

If you're looking for a large case with great cooling for your high performance rig, look no further!

Cons: only con I've really noticed is for whatever reason, the USB 3.0 adapters on the top don't seem to work, and one of the buttons for the fan control (Toggle button for enabling/disabling top fans is sunken in, still works though.)

due to the size of the fans, they suck up a lot of dust, I've noticed after a month of ownership, the top and side vents need a good dusting.

it's a solid case, but also heavy. it's even heavier once you load everything in, definitely not great to carry around to LAN parties, due to the weight and size.

with the rear 120mm case fan, I've found you can't turn off the LED's, not a big deal though as where I have it sitting, I have no glare unless I'm under the desk anyways.

shorter warranty period (1 year) compared to other manufacturers (3 years)

4 out of 5 eggsGREAT CASE

Pros: Case is great in size you can fit any motherboard with out a problem. All the fans keep air flow flowing keeping system cool and also you have the option to change the speed of the fans as well as to turn off fans blue LED's .

Cons: Its pretty expensive for it to be 169.99 but if you wait for the case to go on sale you can save $$$$ i only ended up paying 80$ total for the case + free rush deleviry

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Case is great keeps my Phenom at 96 degrees with Stock cooler. Video card is also about 20 degrees cooler. A great buy for the casual home user that wants a nicer, bigger case.

Cons: Front panel connector wires for usb are too short.

Got my case together and realized 20 " cables or close to it would have been nice . I have my hdd sitting in the bottom until cables come in. Noise from fans is not loud , about the same as Xbox 360 when playing game.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat case with a few flaws

Pros: -Very roomy
-Definitely eye-catching

Cons: -Zero cable management
-No cutout for aftermarket cooler

Other Thoughts: I've had this case since March 2010. Recently, for the past couple of months, one fan on the top and one fan on the side have been spinning extremely slowly. I've cleaned it to the maximum extent of all dust, and nothing works.

You can't even buy the fans anywhere to replace them if you wanted to.

I give this case 3 eggs because for the price, I was definitely expecting more.
