5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Clean aesthetic, quiet fans, good packaging.

Cons: The internal 2.5" drive bay was a little too tight to fit my SSD, but bending the drive bracket out 3 mm or so was enough to fix the problem.

The 4/8 pin CPU power cable is too short for nice cable routing, but since there isn't a window on this case it's not a big deal.

4 out of 5 eggsAnother InWin Box

Pros: It's just the right size for my application and comes with a fairly decent PSU. The toolless top is a time saver. If you're using standard OOD and HDD, it's toolless. You can be running in 10 minutes.

Cons: The external 3.5" bay is a cluster coitus. It's not deep enough for the backplane for my SSDs, so I tore out what was in the way, ending up with a 60mm fan under the backplane. That made necessary a CPU fan, when I wanted to go fanless, but it runs cool enough to stop shutting down when it gets hot.

The PSU isn't Certified, but, so far, it works and it's quiet. I have an InWin PSU in a miniITX box still running after six years.

It has glue on feet instead of bolt on.

Other Thoughts: All of my InWin boxes took some thought to figure out, but work fine once I do. This is the first time I've had to tear up anything to make it be what I wanted. The InWin folks ought to let people know that the external 3.5" bay will hold only a card reader, and even the card reader has to have the cables on the left side. So I took off an egg for that.

Otherwise, this is what I wanted.

4 out of 5 eggsPerfect for an office environment

Pros: -Solid Case
-Fitment is good
-Perfect size for office environment
-Looks professional grade
-4 USB Front ports
-Assembly and maintenance is easy
-Power supply works as it should
-Airflow is good for a slim case

Cons: -None that I have encountered

Other Thoughts: I'm using this for a basic PC build in an office environment. I have ordered 3 more since testing with the first. Assembly was done quickly, no hassle, you really don't need any kind of instructions. My first concern with trying a new case was fitment of the parts in the plastic clips and holders, everything went in fine and fits without moving around. Second was the case finish which is good and overall looks good for a professional environment. Third was the power supply, 300-watt is perfect for my i3-4150's il be setting up, so far I haven't hadn't any signs that this PSU will be a problem. That being said it would be nice to have seen a 350-watt PSU so I would be more comfortable doing a bit more power hungry build. Lastly was the cooling, it only has front and back venting, and one front slot for a 90/92mm fan, so I was a bit worried about the cooling. Using an Arctic F9 PWM case fan and Arctic 11LP CPU Cooler the cooling is acceptable for how they will be used, ideally I would have liked it to be better. Il add temps below with parts list.

Temps
Room Temp 23C/74F
Under normal load for about 4 hours checking email, opening pdf, using MS Office applications 35C/95F
5 back to back 15 minute burn in test at 100% load on the last test it ran about 57C/135F but did spike briefly to about 62C/144F
To compare, it runs about 3-4C hotter than an identical build in a size comparable slim case that is much more open with a top exhaust vent and 80mm fan and side vent right over the CPU Cooler.

Assembled with
ASUS H97M-Plus
Intel i3-4150 Haswell "refresh"
4GB Corsair Vengeance LP DDR3
Arctic Freezer 11LP and F9 PWM

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Case!

Pros: Solid construction
Great quality
Nice design
Looks great
Tool-free design

Cons: Audio headers are too short

Other Thoughts: I love this case. It feels like a nice commercial-grade case that Dell would make. You definitely get your money's worth.

WARNING:
When installing cards, don't use screws! There is no doumentation with this case. I wasn't quite sure how to install cards using the tool-free system. The case came with screws in the PCI slots, but they are optional. You can damage the tool-free clip if you use screws.

Don't make my mistake! Only use one or the other.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Case

Pros: Well built case. Tooless design works well. Includes a case fan. Opening the case cover without screws is a nice touch. USB 3.0 located on the front.

Cons: The case fan is a little noisy. The white power LED is very bright. I thought the placement of the 2.5" bracket under the 5.25" drive cage was a little strange.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat little case with quality power supply.

Pros: Spring clips for everything except for the motherboard mounts. Looks great. Decent cooling. Quality Power supply. USB3 front ports that are blue and run at full speed.

Cons: Front fan is noisy. It might just be the one I got, but I've always found that case fans that come with cases are always cheap and noisy and should be replaced with double ball bearing fans if noise is a consideration.

Other Thoughts: It's a little difficult to work with at first because it is pretty non-standard but once you've built with it once its really slick.

5 out of 5 eggsTight fit, but works well

Pros: Started using these cases instead of mATX Mid towers. With LGA 1155 stuff and the built-in graphics on i5 and i7, along with SSD drives, these cases have worked well in reducing space needed. Very well ventilated. The input fan is in a perfect place on these.

Cons: The internal air flow vents do not match up with my motherboards and CPU heat syncs. I usually just leave them out. Oh well.... still everything runs cool enough.

Other Thoughts: Might have to use a 4 pin to 8 pin cpu power extension or adapter cord. The power supply cables are a bit short. Three more inches guys.... just three more!!! :)

5 out of 5 eggsIn Win CE685 worked well

Pros: All worked as advertised. Used:
ASUS H87M-E mobo and Intel I7-4770S processor
Chose lower power processor for unknown heating
profile. So far so good. Compact size and best of newest panel connectors. Hardware-less feature is good. x

Cons: 350W PS would have been nicer. Probably will eventually replace it. Power light is REALLY bright LED. Might put in an inline current limiting resistor. Very minor "cons" though.

Other Thoughts: I'd buy again in a second. Perfect size and look for my HTPC. Powerful enough to do other desktop apps, too.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Slim case which fits under my monitor stand. You can hear the P/S and front-panel fans but the noise is negligible.
Case has 2x front USB 2 & 3 connectors and audio in/out.

Cons: I had a hard time getting my front card reader to fit, but that's not the fault of the case but the reader itself. The reader's data cable is located in the center and is thickly shielded, and blocked the case fan. But I rigged it so it wouldn't do that and everything is working fine.

Other Thoughts: If anyone is planning to install a card reader in this case, get a reader that doesn't have a thick data cable, or get a card reader where the data cable is located on the left side or can be moved to the left side easily and stay there. If you already have a card reader that blocks fan, I recommend using the metal piece that originally blocks the card reader front bay and wedging it in the yellow plastic space right in front of the fan. That's what fixed this for me. I guess this problem could've been prevented if the manufacturer included a metal fan cage in front of the fan. Those of you who have a fan cage to screw on, do it. It will be the best solution.
