2 out of 5 eggsToo cramped

Pros: Nice looking, USB 3.0 on the front panel

Cons: You can't use the fancy ducting if you put something in the 5.25 bay. It overheats.

Other Thoughts: I had a identically-sized MicroATX case that had cheap plastic fan brackets causing huge amounts of noise. I was intrigued by this case's promise of using no case fan. I transferred the contents of the old case to the new one but the case wouldn't close. I had the 5.25 bay filled with an adapter for two 2.5 drivers. I had to clip some plastic off the (low profile) CPU fan to get it to install. When I run it (probably due to bad airflow), the overheat alarm sounds after 8 minutes at 100% CPU usage.

I don't get it. My identically-sized old case could fit all the same stuff plus three 40mm case fans.

I am going to try to install the 2.5 drives over the PCI slots using adapters. Then I will install the duct-work it came with, and see if that improves the heat problem.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Compact Micro-ATX Case

Pros: - Smallest micro-ATX case while allowing 5.25" drive, 2x3.5" hard drives, and full height PCI cards
- Feels high quality and solid due to steel
- Side panel magnetized dust filter

Cons: - Requires screwdriver (No tool design preferred)
- Terrible cable management (No place to tuck away wires)

Other Thoughts: - Not the best value in the market (Purchased ~70$), but not a con because paying for compactness and quality.
- This is my 4th computer built, and this was my hardest. I found larger cases easier to work on.
- I would have liked if the provided extender cables for the power supply.

If compact, high quality, and solid isn't important: I'd recommend the Rosewill R363-M-BK or R521-M as it's much easier to work on, and is a better value.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsSolid Matx and Mitx

Pros: - Seriously well organized little case, fantastically small for the money.
- Easy to build in
- With included PSU, a HTPC should be really straightforward, for a gaming box, Silverstone makes some great SFX power supplies for the higher wattages.
- Front panel USB 3.0

Cons: - The space for heatsinks is fairly limited, you'd have to either skip the 5.25" drive to fit a larger one in there or find a sufficiently low profile one that works. I found the Cooler Master GeminII M4 works very well with a little tweaking by putting the fan a little off center so it doesn't jut into the case side (and allows for a 5.25" drive)
- I really wish the space under the 5.25" bay could be used for additional 3.5" drives, even 2.5" SSD spots would be more helpful.

Other Thoughts: A joy to work in, if I have to build another small system for myself/friends/family, I will almost certainly look it up again.
Internals are the exact same as:

except that this has USB 3.0 on the front, which is really convenient.
