4 out of 5 eggsFast beeps

Pros: These are usually great cases - I have bought hundreds over the years - but see other thoughts if you get fast beeps when booting your new build.

Cons: The power supplies aren't quite as good as they used to be - wires just got thinner in the last few months.

Other Thoughts: I just had 2 of these in a new shipment of 6 that both have faulty speakers (!) The consequence is a fast beeping when you try to start the PC. Disconnecting the speaker from the board will solve the issue. Just wanted to help anyone who gets this.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello ,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our Z589 chassis. We sorry to hear about the speakers, please contact and we can see about a potential replacement of the part. Thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,

In Win Development Inc.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Solid case, fits the larger micro ATX boards okay. I like the style.

Cons: Only holds one hard drive or SSD (at least from what I can tell).

Other Thoughts: Got this case in Nov 2013, and I'm glad to see it's still available in July 2015.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Bradley,

Thank you for your valuable feedback on our Z589 chassis. We are happy to see that you are content with our case. We will keep your suggestions in mind when developing future products. Thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,

In Win Development Inc.

4 out of 5 eggsI'm happy with it

Pros: My first build, so I can't compare this case with others. I was very satisfied with the construction and materials. The case is rigid, and very pleasing to look at.

Cons: It is over 16 inches deep, not 14 inches as is in the description. My cabinet is 16 inches deep, so I have to cut out the back panel to make it fit. Not a huge issue for me, but only because I have a homemade cabinet. It could have been real trouble. Height and width are as advertised. Minus one egg for this.

3 out of 5 eggsNice Case, BUT.....

Pros: Nice finish, nice appearance. Adequate power supply for non gamers.

Cons: The description says that it has a 12cm (120mm) auxillary fan in back. This is some kind of double talk designed to mislead you. The case fan is 90mm. The PSU fan is 120mm. The description says that it comes with a swiveling HDD cage. It doesn't. Don't count on any answers when you call IN WIN. No speaky Engrish.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Anonymous,

We thank you for your comments about our Z589 case. We will be investigating this misleading info and be sure to provide the correct information should we find the information provided is wrong on the website or anywhere else.

5 out of 5 eggsRock Solid Case

Pros: It works
Its solid
It doesn't cut you
Easy to clean/dust (front panel pops off with a push of a lever)
Quick releases won't fail you

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I've handled many of these cases over the past 5 years, one of which has become my personal machine. While all the "screwless" parts are plastic, none have failed me yet after getting in and out of the cases. Whether loaded with 6 drives, or SLI video, these cases have held it all without vibrations, noise or heat problems.

I prefer to set these up with the front amber light being the HDD light. Otherwise the colors conflict, because the rest are blue and might as well stay on.

3 out of 5 eggsOK, but pretty lame "tooless" setup

Pros: Nice small size--so many of the "mini" towers are close to the size of full-sized towers
Reasonably solid construction

Cons: Maybe I just don't get it, but the tooless attachments for 3 1/2 inch hdds is totally lame. The attachments are not the same spread as on my hdd, so there's only 1 attachment on 1 side holding the hdd in. Gravity will play a bigger roll than the attachments. For heaven'sake, screws work really well, and most people building a computer certainly have a phillips head screw driver! I'm worried this sucker will chatter and buzz with any vibrations in the box.

Absolutely NO instructions or booklet came with my unit. I'd at least like to see the theory of the tooless attachment explained (although I think it probably defies description.)

Other Thoughts: Hey, if I'm just not getting how the tooless attachments work, please, someone, clue me in. Another reason an instruction pamphlet would help!

4 out of 5 eggsNice little computer case

Pros: The pros of this case are the small form factor, the included power supply and the price. It fit my budget and it's a nice looking little case.

As always, NewEgg's shipping is a huge pro. I ordered this on a Wednesday night (after 10pm EST) and received it Friday afternoon.

Cons: There are a few cons with the case.

First, the front bezel is a little hard to take off. You need to slide a latch inside the case to release the bottom and then carefully pop out the top two tabs. I found that I had to stick my hand through the top 5.25 opening from the inside to properly pop the two tabs out. I was really worried about snapping them off.

Second, while not bad when in use, the power light, which encircles the power button, flashes brightly when in Windows sleep mode. In dark room, this is really noticable.

For these two small cons, I knocked an egg off, but neither would stop me from purchasing the case again.

Other Thoughts: My old Dell, which the wife and daughter had been using for web surfing and homework, died over the past weekend and I needed to quickly replace it. I mapped out a low budget and using parts from the Dell (DVD drive and Hard Drive) I put together the following system:

In-Win MicroATX Mini Tower w/ 350W PSU
i3-2100 CPU
ASUS P8H61-M LE/CSM Motherboard
4GB Crucial DDR3 1333 Ram
320GB Western Digital Blue HD
Windows 7 Home Premium

All for under $400. The wife and daughter are extremely happy with Win7 (they were using XP) and the system has been working perfectly.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat!

Pros: Extremely nice case for the money, when you take the included power supply into account. It's a pretty decent PS, and my build didn't need anything more than 350w. The case is well built, breathes, has quiet fans, and the tool-less stuff works. It also looks nice, and easy to work on/in. I even like the vertical mounting for the hard drive, as it makes more room inside the case, and the air flow keeps the drive pretty cool. People shouldn't be trying to cram too much stuff into a small case, but you can easily mount a second drive if need be.

Cons: Usually when I am building a machine, I'll say "I wish this case had _____". Not so in this instance. I'll buy more in the future.

Other Thoughts: Just do your homework before buying any case. This may not be the best fit for everyone, but for my requirements, this was perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing cases

Pros: These are awesome cases. I've purchased 29 of them and every single one was perfect. The power supplies and fans are fairly quiet and reliable. Most of the case is tool-less which is great for reducing build and repair times. They look great in a business environment and seem very durable.

Cons: The wires coming from the power supply are almost always woven through each other which can make cable management difficult. Since there's no side panel window you can't see it, but I like things to be tidy.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Me and my friend each bought one for our identical builds, works great. None of the edges are sharp, nothing feels flimsy. Nice and sturdy. If you're making a basic build there is plenty of room to maneuver. The sides snap off and on, no screws. No screws inside either, its all got good plastic tabs making things much easier to use and get to. The power supply is decent enough. We bought these intending to use them since the other reviews spoke good things of them. Both work great and powers 4670's just fine. Checking the voltages in the BIOS everything is working as it should. It has plenty of connectors, 4 sata power connectors so you can have up to 4 drives hooked up. The case fans are good too, even with a quad and gpu under load the thing spits out cold air and the vents are in good places. The HDD mount is right up front and the vent is right next to where the GPU is.

Cons: The power supplies work fine, although one of the two makes a chirping type noise when it's under load. More than likely, it's just the fan being mal-lubricated from the factory, but as cheap as this is I cannot complain on the quality. It still works fine, and like I said, all the power readings are fine and it works. My only other gripe is that it only has one real HDD bay, however, you can squeeze two more up in the extra expansion bays. If you only have one disc drive installed, you can slide two more hard drives up there. I did and they work fine. Just have to work around it a little bit.
