2 out of 5 eggsMany issues!

Pros: Big
Easy to slide SOME parts in

Cons: The things that are meant to take out for the graphics cards does not work
The plug ins for the RDD don't work
WORST OF ALL THE eSATA PLUG IN IS PLUGGED, IT EVEN STILL SAYS eSATA!!!

Other Thoughts: I am just so disappointed I expected more from the case. I have a feeling that I will have to buy a new case.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Sir or Madam,
BUC is a case only so the graphics cards doesn't work that may relate to power supply or motherboard. For RDD (is HDD?) and eSATA issue that may connection issue with motherboard. Can you check the connection with motherboard. If you have any questions, please kindly contact our customer service dept at 909-348-0588 ext 741 or email us at customerservice@in-win.com. We are great to assist you with include defective parts replacement.
Thank you.

Best Regards,
In Win customer service team

3 out of 5 eggsNice Case, Bad Rubber!

Pros: Beautiful case. Nice cable management. Easy to carry. Almost tool less. LEDs are cool. Installing hard drives was an absolute breeze. Cables are nicely labeled. Packing for the case in the box is appropriate and protects the case rather nicely. Case fans are very quiet.

Cons: Instructions are presented on a fold-out and not a book type manual. The instructions (if you can call them instructions) are just pictures as the text below is virtually useless. The worst part: the rubber grommets that hold the rear fan in place. Why rubber!!! When installing a water cooled fan, the screws for the fan had nothing to secure to as the screw head was too small for the rubber grommet and passed right through it! Why not use the case and cut an appropriate hole for screws??? As a result of this layout, installing a self inclosed water cooler was a nightmare. Furthermore, one of the rubber grommets split in half so now I have only 3 screws holding the rear fan (as extras are not included). Not a deal breaker but a real hassle when installing third party fans. A metal grommet would have been the way to go on this - 2 eggs off for that.

Other Thoughts: I like the case so I'm stuck with 3 grommets. May try to go to a hardware store to find a metal replacement for all 4 grommets. Fans are near silent which is great. I setup the new AMD FX chip with this case and it runs absolutely silent. Would have been nice if the cutout for the estata on the front of the case was actually cutout so you could use it. This is one of the nicer cases offered by In Win.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Case

Pros: This case is one of the best user friendly cases I have ever owned and I have gone through over a dozen computers in my life.
Everything is strong and structure is spacious.
Most everything is click and pull, hardly any screws but the motherboard mounts. comes with strong fans that are still going great after 3 years.
removable vents to clean, holds 5 hdd's.
All edges are smooth and clean. the case looks great and holds it ground. Love the tray on top for gadgets.
plus a 3.0 usb at that time was great.
Perfect mid tower if you ask me. I would buy this again and again and again and I would recommend to anyone.

Cons: Nothing at all!!!

4 out of 5 eggsQuick Update

Pros: Just a quick update to say thanks to InWin for sending replacement latches to me (see prior review).

I'd give the case 4.5 stars if could (also wish I could just edit/reply to my previous review).

Cons: N/A

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT case!

Pros: I picked up this case (after a LOT of shopping and comparing) for my (admittedly mediocre) first build. The case FAR outshines the components I stuck into it. This will probably be the case I use for my next build. There's lots of space, there's great cable management, lots of features, but not too many. For the price, I think this is the best case out there. I had a friend helping me with my first build, and he was very impressed with this case, and he's a seasoned (jaded) pro!

Cons: It's a little bigger than I was expecting, but the measurements are right there - I just didn't really look. I guess my stoopidity is not a con for this product.

Other Thoughts: Great case. I would definitely recommend it.

4 out of 5 eggsDoesn't suck

Pros: o Relatively inexpensive
o Fairly roomy
o Drive bays pre-wired for SATA and power
o Raised mobo mountings for common mount points (I needed to install one mounting for a standard ATX mobo)
o Pretty lights
o Largely tool-less install

Cons: The latches that hold the sides of the case in place feel a little flimsy and come off easily.

It would seem my case shipped with one of these clips missing. :(

The case doesn't offer much in terms of cable/wire management. A few holes but not much depth behind the motherboard. As far as I could see there was no way to route the 8 pin power cable for my mobo except in front. (mobo was ASRock Z77 Extreme4)

Other Thoughts: Neutral:

Silly locked hatch for hot swapping drives (as others have mentioned the lock is sort of odd since removing the side of the computer is reasonably trivial

No front ports for eSATA or Firewire (lack of demand?)

Bottom line: I'm reasonably happy with the case but may look elsewhere next time.

Manufacturer Response:

Please contact our service dept @ customerservice@in-win.com or give us a call at 909-348-0588 so we may serve you to the fullest we can.

5 out of 5 eggsGood case, looks cool, decent price

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case For All Builds

Pros: This case is just fantastic on all levels, first of all this was my first build and inwin's BUC case just made it so easy.

-PrePlaced Standoff's
-Easy Harddrive installation
-Can Change HardDrives from the outside of the case with a key
-TOOL-LESS BUILD, Except to screw in the mobo
-3 QUIET fans, i cant even hear it at all there that quiet

- Nice Side Panel Removal Design.
-USB 3.0 Area on top, great for phones and other things.
-PCI Expansion tool-less install , just so great

Cons: Only thing about this case that i had a small problem with is how they advsertised the esata port on this website but instead they added another usb 3.0 to the top. But i guess small things like this really stick out when everything else about this case is just so amazing

Other Thoughts: Great build for new builders and old

3 out of 5 eggsNot the case shown on the web site!

Pros: Very large for mid-tower case, good quality, easy to work inside, nice design, supposed to have (see Cons) a lot of ports: USB 3.0 x 1 (top), USB 2.0 x 2, eSATA x 1, HD/AC'97 Audio (front), great ventilation - options to install up to 5 fans (2 fans are included), hard drive EZ-swap door on the left panel, great attention to little details

Cons: I received the case that is not the one shown on a web site! If you ordered this case because you wanted to have an eSATA port on the front of the case (like I did), you are in for a big surprise. There is NO eSATA port at all! There is a place in the shape of the eSATA port on the front of the case, but it is plugged! Instead of an eSATA port there is however an extra USB 3.0 port at the top of the case near the storage tray, so you get: USB 3.0 x 2 (TOP), USB 2.0 x 2, HD/AC'97 Audio (Front) Ports. Hardly an improvement! Who had such a idiotic idea to change the originally great design into something so much boring. I would never even consider this case if I new it had only USB ports and no eSATA.

Other Thoughts: After calming down a little bit, I have to admit that I shouldn't have given this case a 3-egg rating because this case is great! It deserves 5-eggs but only with eSATA port on the front like it is shown and described on the web site. I have to say that I am very disappointed with newegg.com for misinformation about the product. I never had any problem with anything I ordered here, so this experience comes to me as a big surprise. If you guys there know that it is a different product, show it as a different product and let your customers decide what they want to get. Don't make a decision of sending to us something that we didn't order.
Newegg! Please, send me my case!

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad with a few minor issuse

Pros: It has plenty of cooling and roomy for a mid tower. I like the somewhat tooles design of it. And the fact that the power supply blows out the bottom of the case and has a removable filter. Love the concept of how you put the drives in and dock them. And it was a relatively easy build for my computer guy to do (I have problems with my hands so I no longer do my own builds)

Cons: The back plane where the hard drives dock had to be soldered and the front light dose not light up (light not a big issue). Other then that i had the case for a couple months now and I am happy with it. I was told tho i have to be careful plugging in the drives tho do to the fact the connections had to be soldered.

Other Thoughts: Mostly happy with the case. Tho if you ask if I would have bought the case knowing the issues it had... Well I am not sure I think I might have. I am not to disappointed with the case tho just a couple minor issues but so far a good case.
