4 out of 5 eggsWIN GRONE is a good product

This review is from: IN WIN GRone Gray 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: The full tower was easy to install all the hardware has plenty of room to put everything you need, and the it has plenty of ventilation that keeps everything cool. I have added 6 140mm fan and it is very quite

Cons: The first thing that I did not look is the top 3 External 5.25" Drive Bays you cannot use, if you going to put the 3 External 5.25" Drive Bays in you should be able to use it. The second thing is that it Supports up to ten 140mm cooling fan but the 140mm fan that is under the hard drive will not fit the hole's are miss drill because you have to take out the bottom vertical that is in front of the hard drive to be able to put the bottom horizontal 140mm fan under the bottom hard drive or you have to make your own hole's to be able to have both vertical and the horizontal 140mm fan and that is what I did.

Other Thoughts: I used an external fan controller because I added 6 140mm fan so I cannot comment on the fan controller but over all it is a good ATX Full Tower and I would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a ATX Full Tower.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Ronald,

First off, thank you for leaving feedback on our GR One chassis. We are glad that you liked our product and hope it continues to serve you well. We apologize if you felt misled with the fans. The fan mount you are referring to is actually made to fit a 120mm fan. We will contact our marketing department to try and make that more clear. As for the drive bay comments, I'm afraid we do not understand why you can't use them. You do have to pull the green tabs in order to use them. If you need any further assistance, please call (909) 348-0588. Thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,

In Win Development Inc.

5 out of 5 eggsIncredible but HUGE

This review is from: IN WIN GRone Gray 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is absolutely excellent! The 3 main features that persuaded me to purchase this case were:

1. The amount of cooling from the included fans - There are 5 fans that come pre-installed on the case and those coupled with my liquid cooling keep my temps between 26-32c for my mobo / processor.

2. Room to build / cable management - You will have more than enough room to build in this case - I have an MSI X99s Gaming 7 Motherboard which took up the majority of available space in my Corsair 450d case. This case comfortably houses my motherboard / liquid cooling and still leaves ample room to efficiently and neatly place your PSU and other cables around your giant video card (EVGA GTX 970) so as to not have a rats nest of wires to look at through the case window. There is also plenty of room on back side of the case to pass your wires through the rubber slot and hide any excess wiring you need to. If anything the ONLY issue I had was getting certain wires to reach since the case is so large.

3. The amount of HDD slots and the ease of adding a disk drive - For years I've had 5 HDDs sitting on my shelf unable to plug any of them in. Coupled with the quick HDD slot provided on the top of the case there is plenty of room for 5+ hard drives. The ease of access / installation with the plastic bay is awesome as well.. just a quick snap and slide and you have access to the bay.. and another slide back in and snap closed to install your drive.

Another bonus is the fact that this case looks incredibly cool...

If you're a fan of the red / black color scheme and you want to have a sweet looking case to show off to company.. but you're also serious about being able to productively use your case in terms of "upgradeability" and expansion.. along with a neat and cool space - this is DEFINITELY the case for you.

Cons: Extremely big... do some measuring before you order! Mine does not fit in the nook on the book case attached to my desk! Time for a new desk !

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Michael,

Thank you for your thorough review of our GR One chassis. We were extremely happy to hear how satisfied you were with the GR One. Our goal was definitely provide customers with ample space to do just about anything. Unfortunately, that does also require plenty of space for the chassis itself. Thank you for your understanding, and more importantly, thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,

In Win Development Inc.

5 out of 5 eggsHuge and awesome!

This review is from: IN WIN GRone Gray 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Wanted a case that would fit my components and give plenty of airflow. This case does that and then some! It's big and heavy, but everything fits and it feels very secure. Love that it's heavy duty, and was easy to put everything together. The SATA port on the top of the case is a nice bonus, too.

Cons: None whatsoever.

Other Thoughts: If you're wanting a big case, I would definitely recommend this one. It's the second case I've gotten from IN WIN, and I have a feeling I'll be using their products for a long time.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Russell,

This review is from: IN WIN GRone Gray 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Cons: the only thing I dislike about this case is lack of room for cable management on the back of the mobo tray.

4 out of 5 eggsReally good case for a good price but...

This review is from: IN WIN GRone Gray 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: Really easy to install components
Lots of Room for expanding
Routing of cables with easy
Plenty of cooling and expand-ability of cooling options is nice

Cons: Had a little bit of problems with the quick mount pins popping out on the HDD quick install carriers.
If you have micro-atx or atx the slots for cable routing are a bit far. But considering it can mount the extended-atx understandable.

Other Thoughts: BUT.... I am missing one of the round water cooling hose grommets and two of the side panel thumb screws. I hope that missing hardware is a rarity and not the norm.

Some said the front 5.25 covers come off easy and it is true. However this issue seems to crop up in the shipping of it. Being a full tower, I don't plan on moving it much and defiantly not like some carriers handle packages. Mine come off easy but I have to be trying to get them off.

I love the case but dropped one egg due to missing hardware. Great job IN WIN. Keep them coming.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Calvin,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our GR One chassis. We are happy that are enjoying the chassis, but a little disappointed that you had missing components. Please email customerservice@in-win.com and indicate the missing items, upload the invoice, and if possible, provide pictures of what is needed (this helps so we don't accidentally send you the wrong parts.). We thank you for your patience and understanding. Thank you for choosing In Win.

5 out of 5 eggs IN WIN GRone Gray

This review is from: IN WIN GRone Gray 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: GREAT case. Large viewing window. Plenty of room. Lots of fans. High quality.

Cons: Need more hooks in the back to tie back cables and wires...but I was able to make do with the ones that are there. Just could be easier. Window is oddly a light blue color. But you know that before you buy it.

Other Thoughts: I removed the blues window and went to the hardware store and got a piece of clear acrylic and cut it to fit and drilled holes to screw it where the original window was mounted and it looks GREAT! The blue window was not going to fit in with my red and black setup. Very easy to do and looks so much better.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Christopher,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our GR One chassis. We applaud your customization and your problem-solving skills. Another option to replace the side panel is to look at our eStore, we sell carry different panels to fit your build. Just a FYI. As for the hooks, it's always great to know these things, so will definitely forward this to our R&D team for future considerations. We are glad that you are enjoying your build and glad you are satisfied. Thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,

In Win Development Inc.

5 out of 5 eggsIN WIN GRone Gray Review

This review is from: IN WIN GRone Gray 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: There are many things to like about this case. From the moment you open the box you are greeted with nice packaging. Which in my case was a great thing as my case box looked like Ace Venture handled it from, his first movie. But nothing was damaged, so Kudos to IN Win for using good packaging. Once the case is un-boxed you will be greeted with a packet with all the particulars that you will need to install your hardware. As you examine this case you can see that IN WIN pays attention to the little details. All the machined edges were nicely rounded. So no slicing your fingers on this bad boy. The layout inside was designed really well with added touches like a partial removable hard drive cage to increase airflow. Also, the removal of this cage is very easy. Thanks for not making this a difficult task. The drive cartridges are also very nice. It reminds you of working on servers, for those of you that have had such a pleasure. The internal wiring is straight forward and easy to use. However, I do recommend switching your power connector from the 4 pin molex design to the newer Sata. It is becoming harder to find that type power connection. Installation was a breeze and the use of the rubber grommets for the water cooling enabled me to make this probably the cleanest build I have ever done. Once again Kudos to IN WIN for a great design. To echo that comment just a little more, the space provided behind the motherboard tray worked fabulous to aid in keeping this a clean build. Some other great touches that I really appreciated were, Large thumb screws for both the exterior doors as well as your expansion card slots. This was a fantastic surprise and made the install even nicer. For those of you who like to make your PC a showpiece for others to admire, this case allows you to do just that. Now I have read that some people are not fond of the light blue tinted side panel. Personally I think it works great contrasting against the grey case. I feel clear would have thrown off the aesthetics of the design. But hey that's just my 2 cents. The front covers are very modern and trendy and once again remind you of working on ESX's in a server room. So I really dig what you guys did there. All in all this is a great case, great price point, and amazing value. I am really happy I went with IN WIN.

Cons: There really is not much bad I can say about this case or its design. Really this is just gonna be a suggestion section for me.

As I stated before. Remove the 4 Pin Molex power connector and convert it to Sata. Or, provide an adapter. Otherwise it will become dated fast.

Add a Reset Button. Call me old Fashioned, but it is nice to have one.

Modernize the Fan controller to a digital one. Maybe a 3 speed with led indicator. That would have kicked this case up a couple notches.

That's all I can suggest honestly. Which in the grand scheme of things really just tells ya that I had to nit pick to come of with suggestions. Great job IN WIN.

Other Thoughts: After all is said and done I am very happy with the case and HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to any builder out there. If you are a novice pc enthusiast, and have common sense, this case will make your build go quick and easy.

One last suggestion for you guys at IN WIN. I know you read all the reviews and man oh man does that scream that you not only care but are invested in your product, your company, but also your customers. So keep it up. And here is a Freebie to hand over to your Marketing department.... Your new marketing slogan.... "IN WIN For the WIN"

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Scott,

Wow, we received quite a bit of praise from this review. We thank you for leaving feedback on our GR One chassis and are sincerely glad that you enjoyed building in it. As you mentioned, we do read the feedback of our valued customers and try to implement the suggestions in future products. We can't promise anything, but we certainly listen because our products is for our customers after all. Many of your suggestions have already been replaced in our newer models. The GR One has actually been out for a couple of years now. But, we can still forward somethings to our R&D department. Thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,

In Win Development Inc.

4 out of 5 eggsIn Win GRone Gray Steel Full Tower Case

This review is from: IN WIN GRone Gray 0.8mm SECC Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case

Pros: -HUGE- I knew I was getting a big case, but this monster is twice the size of my current Mid Tower. LOVE IT!! Plenty of room for any future builds I might go for. :D
-Sturdy- I love that it's solid- it's not going to be flimsy at all, like other Full Tower cases that I've read about.
-Nice color. I like the dark silver, and I think it's going to look fantastic once I light it up with my Green LED's!
-Front facing I/O for USB, power, audio, etc.
-Can easily support high-end cooling- lots of fan/reservoir space.
-SHINY. :D

Cons: -Access. The front fans can only be accessed after removing the storage drive bays.
-DVD/CD player port- has room for 4, but you'll probably never use the top port, otherwise you'd have to move the front I/O and power connections. ALSO- there's some steel plates in place that you have to remove before you can use any of these ports- not super convenient. Must be a shipping thing? I don't know.
-Top panel isn't super easy to take off.

Other Thoughts: Personally, I would give this case 5 eggs, but to be fair/non-biased I dropped an egg for the above reasons. Also, upon arrival, one my feet on was chipped; and then either one part of the top panel was broken, or I broke it on accident trying to get it off. Hoping that I can somehow get a new foot and top panel. :/

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Justin,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our GR One chassis. We are happy to see that you enjoyed building out of the chassis, although we are slightly disappointed to hear about the foot stand and top panel. Please contact our Customer Service department at customerservice@in-win.com, and they will see about replacing the damaged parts. We thank you again for the praise, patience, and your understanding. Thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,
