3 out of 5 eggsNot what I had hoped

Pros: -Comes with PSU
-decent looking
-good size for HTPC

Cons: - layout was tough to work with
- cable routing was not easy

Other Thoughts: I bought this case for an HTPC build. I had very high hopes considering it has 2x 3.5" bays and a hidden 2.5" slot. As another reviewer mentioned, one of the 3.5"HDD slots is basically right up against the case fan. The other slot is virtually unusable for me because my mobo USB 3.0 adapter for the front ports is right where one of the mounting plates is located, so installing the cable to the usb 3.0 connection on the mobo caused me to have to modify that mounting tab (read bend it up and out of the way). That tab was literally pressing down on the connector. Now that cable is in the the 3.5" bay. I might be able to force a HDD in there, but I'm not sure.

Part of my problem is definitely the layout of my motherboard, but I really wanted M.2 capability and there were fewer choices in the mATX format than I had hoped. Maybe a mini ITX would have been better, not sure. In any case, check your layout first it might save you some headaches.

Overall it's not terrible, and if I had chosen to use a different mobo, I might be a little more pleased with the way things went, but I really wanted to maximize the use of those HDD slots, so consuming the 2.5" slot with a SSD seemed less than economical when I could use an M.2 for the OS and put a 2TB drive in the 2.5" slot.

I didn't have any issues with the included PSU cable lengths as others did so that too was a plus.

Overall I'm not too disappointed, just not as thrilled as I thought I was going to be.

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost as advertised

Pros: -Great look for a home theater setup, like a larger, more professional-looking playstation
-Well-designed layout for an easy build
-Drive bays are simple to remove and reinstall
-Decent ventilation for its size

Cons: -Edges aren't quite all rolled, but it wouldn't be a good PC build without a minor blood sacrifice.
-Mine arrived without a case fan

Other Thoughts: Not sure if it was supposed to come with a case fan, honestly. It's there in the open-case photos, but not in the specs.
Mine came with a strange little half-pipe shaped mounting bracket in its 120mm fan slot (just forward of the PSU).

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Andrew,

2 out of 5 eggsNever thought I would be picky about a case

Pros: This case is sturdy, and small. Part of the case that houses the drive bays actually removes, which makes it easier to install. This case is slightly roomier than the other mini atx case I bought (but had to RMA)

Cons: In building my system, I discovered many things that bothered me about this case that I never thought to consider:

-The lack of documentation didn't bother me at first, but it would have made things easier.
-The power cable for the mainboard is too short for the mobo I purchased, so I had to buy an extender.
-The 3.5 drive bay is next to the case fan. My hard drive is literally hanging next to the case fan. I hope I don't have any issues with vibration
-The "tool-less" feature is somewhat annoying. I am worried my drives will jar loose since it doesn't really lock. It sort of stays in pace with the couple of screws I was able to get in, but it's something I feel I should mention

Overall, I would not buy this case again.

Other Thoughts: the motherboard I purchased didn't have a connector for the front USB 3.0 ports. It's not a knock against the case, but lesson learned for me.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello John,

Thank you for your feedback. Your comments on the BL672 chassis is very much appreciated. We will take your critques into consideration for development of future products. Thanks again.

5 out of 5 eggsFunctional and looks great.

Pros: - USB 2.0 & 3.0 connector
-2.5" hidden slot for SSDs so no adapter is required,
-Looks professional
-Small footprint

Cons: -As with their other cases I have used, the 24-pin motherboard power connector cable(s) is too short. Should be at least an extra 1-2" longer. You will need to make sure your RAM does not have the "high-rise" heat sink, as it will prevent the power cable from reaching the motherboard.
-Advertises "optional tool-less design". Let me be clear that this model is definitely not tool-less. Maybe some of their models are, or maybe there is some kit that makes it tool-less, but I have not been able to find such a kit.

Other Thoughts: Overall, very good if you're looking for a cheap, functional case, especially for office scenarios. I am currently using about 10 of these throughout our organization, with no problems to report as of yet.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC case

Pros: Good looking case with easily removable drive tray. Has good ventilation with removable filter. Four front USB ports. One hidden 2.5 bay under the 5.25 bay. Power supply has 3 sata, 1 20/24 pin that can be separated, 2 4 pin that can be connected to make 8 pin, 1 molex and 1 floppy power.

Cons: Not a biggie, but one bolt hole was off for my micro ATX ASUS board. A little paper work would have been nice. It did come with a bag of screws.

Other Thoughts: This was my 1st pc build and took about 2 hours. Man that 1st boot beep sounded good. I had no trouble installing a dvd burner and ssd drive. Under the 5.25 bay there is a hidden place for the 2.5 drive and a 3.5 bay under that. Leaves one more internal 3.5 and one external 3.5 still open. Using the provided case fan and the stock cooler fan my 65 watt APU averages around 37C. If a 1st time builder had no problems you pros will breeze through your build.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Case Ever

Pros: Well made, perfect size and layout. Very quiet.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have built over a dozen computers using various cases and this is by far the best. It is better than some that have cost many times more.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Comes with (2) 3.5" slots. This is apparently uncommon among micro-atx cases as I had difficulty finding cases with more than (1). Comes with case fan and 300W TFX12V power supply. Case fan is extremely quiet. I LOVE the fact that they have a vent directly over where the processor and heatsink are located. The AMD FX-8320 I installed in this case has no heating troubles with the stock heatsink and fan.

Cons: Back of the case appeared to be warped. The area where the motherboard plate snaps in was clearly warped and would not allow the plate to snap in. With some light hammering and plier work I was able to re-shape it to allow the plate to mostly snap in. It's held securely in place by pressure from the motherboard.

The holes do not entirely match up for mounting a micro atx board. The last two holes on the right side of the motherboard will not have a mount to bolt in to. It might be better suited for a mini-itx motherboard.

Manufacturer Response:

5 out of 5 eggsCorrection!

Pros: The power and drive activity lights do shine through the faceplate, I had the connectors backwards.

Cons: Nothing major.

4 out of 5 eggsAlmost perfect

Pros: Well-built, sturdy, supports the weight of a monitor.

Power supply and exhaust fans aren't excessively noisy.

Cons: Face plate can be a bit tough to get on just right.

Face plate is too dark for the power and drive activity lights to shine through.

I have no idea how the tool-less plastic drive tabs work and they're not mentioned in the documentation.

Other Thoughts: I used a SSD, HDD, and a DVD burner in my build, and they're all mounted on the right-hand side. This leaves the empty space under the floppy bay free for cable-routing.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat small case!

Pros: This is the perfect size case, for when you want a small media center PC. It looks nice, and fit everything I put in it (which was only a small amount of items). It was exactly what I was looking for.

Cons: You do have limited amount of room, and have to make sure you plan out cabling and how it fits.
Also the Power Button is close to where the DVD drive ends up, and occasionally it gets hit by mistake.
