4 out of 5 eggsNice quality InWin case

Pros: Solid construction and nice layout. Power supply fan is nice and quiet.

Cons: The power button feels a little cheap- like one day it's going to bind up and the end user will need me to come fix it.

They should include at least one right-angle SATA cable. The placement of the hard drives means a straight cable needs to make a tight turn up against the case. This puts too much stress on the cable and connector for my taste.

Other Thoughts: I'm using this case with an Intel Atom motherboard with passive cooling. It's so quiet, I need the power indicator to know that it's running.

I've never seen a front panel USB connector like this. It must be a USB 3.0 thing. You can see it in the side view photo. I was bummed that there was no adapter to make it backward compatible with a USB 2.0 motherboard header. My mistake, I'll live without it.

5 out of 5 eggsNice (tight) case

Pros: 300 PSU included
Space for 3.5" 2 HDD's and 5.25" DVD
Nice fit & finish
Built-in front USB ports

Cons: DVD drive requires punching out plastic - a slim slot loader won't look right without some extra work.
Case fan is loud
Cable routing difficult

Other Thoughts: I knew this case was going to be tight, after all it IS Mini ITX. Fortunately everything I need fits. I had to unscrew the drive bracket assembly in order to get in a 2.5" SSD (with 2.5" to 3.5" adapter) and my old 3.5" HDD to fit it. I fastened them to the bracket, attached the SATA and power cables and then reattached the whole thing.

I don't have a SATA DVD or Blu-ray drive currently but standard one will be almost overlapping the CPU fan. Not sure I'm happy about that so I think a slim DVD drive or even a laptop drive might be best (I have an old SATA laptop drive I might try at some point).

I was hoping to route the cables nicely but the just wasn't possible with the Biostar TH61 MB I purchased to go in here. So pretty much it's a bird's nest in there; although it's not affecting the cooling - temperatures with the Celeron G1610 and stock cpu fan I installed are less than 40C.

Oh yeah, the case fan that comes with it is LOUD. I unplugged it. The PSU fan isn't too bad though - not silent but not obnoxious either.

Overall I'm very happy with the case!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Case works great for an HTPC and, as noted by others, the power supply is 300W.

Cons: Power light is pretty bright and may bother some people.

4 out of 5 eggsCase with free doorstop

Pros: Fits all standard components. The drive bay box doesn't cramp the case yet it has a whole 5.25" external bay. Even better is that beneath the 3.5" bay there are mounting holes and just enough room to fit a slim 3.5" to 2.5" converter - without obstructing the 3.5" bay.
The big advantage this case has over other slim cases is the standard TFX power supply. Other cases of this size use proprietary mini PSU solutions, and who knows how much they cost to replace, if you can replace them at all. The PSU is an important part that should never be overlooked, I chose the IN-WIN over bigger brands because of that TFX PSU.

Cons: The fan mount is bizarre. From the looks of it they originally intended to have some sort of clip system, as the 120mm vent on the side has the same sort of raised sleeves as the 92mm vent at the top. But the 92mm fan is not attached to the vent, it has a plastic caddy which is clipped on to the sides of the case. The fan is rather loud, but improves the airflow quite a lot.
The audio cables for the front panel are a bit short for my mobo and I had to route them through the 5.25" bay. The power LED is too bright so I disconnected it.
The PSU managed to last 8 hours before slowly losing the ability to not be a doorstop. Eventually my system stopped even POSTing and I thought the mobo had died - until I grabbed an ATX PSU from another computer and tested it. Good thing it can be replaced.

Other Thoughts: It's a small case with many features not usually seen at this size. Be prepared to buy a new PSU though.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Zero wasted space with this case. 300W PSU allows for many options and potential expansion. Almost zero proprietary parts. Huge bonus points for that. The case is compact and doesn't waste space, but you won't feel like a contortionist trying to get everything in there. The trickiest part is mounting the drive bay while keeping the cables under/in front of it.

Aesthetically, I am pleased with the case. I was worried about it looking like "too much" (I like a clean look and don't want any of my electronics to stand out), but it just looks great. It's well constructed and is a lot heavier than you might think by checking the dimensions. Some would have this as a "Con".

USB 3.0 in the front is sweet. With the motherboard I chose, I have 6 USB 3.0 slots. I'll likely never use them, but I like being able to say I have that many.

Cons: Things are tight, but cable management definitely could have been done better here. I was able to wrap about half the cables (HDD power/SATA and case to mobo cables) under/in front of the drive bay as another user suggested, but the rest is a pretty big nest. If the cables were longer, I'd have been able to manage them a bit better.

Other Thoughts: Do be aware that you won't be able to fit two 3.5" HDDs in this box. You'll need a SINGLE 2.5"-to-3.5" for an SSD. I had a hard time finding a single drive adapter at my local store (most are double to fill out an entire normal 3.5" drive bay).

I built this box as a HTPC and am quite pleased. I was able to land a few deals and put the whole thing together for ~$525.

i3 3225
ASRock Z77E-ITX
8GB Crucial Ballistix 1600
2TB WD Green (Storage)
60GB Agility 3 (Windows, XBMC)
Lite-On BluRay/DVDRW combo drive

I plan on adding a 7750 LP card to the mix soon, but am worried about airflow at the bottom of the case.

Because others noted some noise from the stock case fan, I purchased an aftermarket 80MM fan and discarded the one it comes with before I did anything else and the machine is near-silent. I might replace the stock CPU cooler as that generates the most noise (which isn't that much).

Really pleased with this case and would recommend it even though I'd like to see better cable management or at least longer cables so they're just more easily managed.

4 out of 5 eggsThings You Need to Know

Pros: - Very compact
- 300 Watt PSU
- Screwless

Cons: - Does not fit two full size HD's in the HD bay out of the box
- Case fan is not quiet (but not super loud)

Other Thoughts: If you want to fit two harddrives into the HD bay you can but it will take some metal bending and some longer screws. If you not putting anything in the CD/DVD/BlueRay bay you can put a HD there. I ended up changing the case fan because it was just to loud for me. The fan is not super loud but you can defiantly hear it very well.

4 out of 5 eggs300w PSU USB3.0, but NO VGA vents

Pros: -300w TFX 12V PSU- it`s just amazing
-price
-full size 5.25 slot

Cons: -Took 1 egg off for the lack of a vent for a discrete graphics card. I had to drill 264 holes in the left side of the case to prevent overheating of a HD 6670 (with 7750 would be the same issue). It took me 2 hours to do so.
-front plate is not as nice as that of a IN WIN BP671. I happen to have it, too. Unfortunately, BP671 is not selling anymore, it has no usb 3.0, PSU is 200W
-the orange LED is obnoxious. Looks chintzy

Other Thoughts: The description is Incorrect!!! the PSU is 300w, not 200w.

I can only hope In-Win will be able to manage to make a vent for a discrete graphics card.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case for my DVR/PVR/HTPC for RCN Cable

Pros: This is a nice compact case, just what I was looking for. Easy assembly for my build. Just enough room for all of my components. I chose this case for my DVR/PVR build. System has been running non-stop for 3 weeks now with adequate airflow and no overheating issues.

Cons: The power supply ATX cable for the mother board is only 4-pin. MY ASUS P8Z77-I DELUXE ITX Motherboard requires an 8-Pin ATX! Had to order an 8-Pin Male to ATX 4-Pin Female Cable (Rosewill here from NewEgg). Also, as mentioned by others, the cable management can be challenging and the BRIGHT BLUE GLARING POWER LIGHT. The Fans are a little loud buy not that big a deal unless you are sleeping and it's the only thing running. Other than that, no other cons.

Other Thoughts: My Build:
ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe LGA Mini-ITX Z77
Intel Core i3-3220 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz
G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800)
Rosewill 9.5" EPS 8-Pin Male to ATX 4-Pin Female Cable (adapter to connect PSU to Motherboard)
Intel - 520 Series 120GB SSD
IN WIN BP655.300TB3L
Ceton InfiniTV 4 PCIe 4-tuner digital cable TV card
LG Blu-Ray Burner WH14NS40
Western Digital MyBook USB 3.0 Ext 2TB Drive for DVR storrage
Windows 8 Media Center Pro Build

** Install Note for cable management ** I routed all of my cables UNDER/BEHIND the drive bay instead of just running them over the motherboard/CPU. It was tight but everything fit snug and clean under the drive bay. This will help if you have any concerns about any cables inadvertently coming in contact with the CPU fan.

Also, the power switch and reset buttons work fine. I did not have any problems as other users had reported that the reset button did not work.

I built this system to replace my RCN TiVo box and could not be happier.

5 out of 5 eggsGood case great air flow

Pros: Light, good design, Easy to get to everything inside.
Geat air flow.
I had a Thermaltake before this. PC overheated all the time. Not with this one.
Blue LED for the power is very bright.
PSU is a standard for ITX cases so you can upgrade it if needed.

Cons: Great air flow means you are going to hear your fans. So if you have a noisy fan you are going to hear it. But that is not a real minus.

Other Thoughts: Blue LED can either make a good night light or will drive you crazy if you are trying to sleep.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Box

Pros: Looks Great. 300W Power Supply and Lots of I/O for such a little box. Includes cutouts in back for a cabled eSATA output and 2 USB in addition to the mini-ITX I/O and the low profile PCI slot.

Cons: Power LED is very bright

Other Thoughts: I used this chassis for a very nice unit for my office. The box is small and looks great. I was going to buy a cheaper chassis but my wife thought this one looked so much better. I installed an Intel DH77DF motherboard with an i7-3770 CPU with 16 GB of Kingston KHX16C10B1BK2 HyperX RAM. It has a Corsair Force GS 240 GB SSD, an old 500 GB 3.5" spinner, and an LG Blu-Ray Burner. Everything fit fine with no serious build problems. I was even able to dress the cables inside so they don't really show through the vent holes. It is running great and is lighting fast. I would highly recommend this box unless you need a graphics card that won't fit in a single width, low profile slot.
