5 out of 5 eggsExactly what it claims to be

Pros: Arrived in good condition and it's exactly as described. The PSU and case fans are quiet to the point that I had to put my hand on the case a couple of times while setting up because I wasn't even sure if it was on. Ample power connections and the two USB 3.0 on the front panel are a nice feature.

Cons: Zero documentation in the box. Didn't really need it but even one sheet describing features and specs would've been welcome.

Other Thoughts: Purchased for my first htpc and it does the job swimmingly.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello ,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our BP655 chassis. We are glad to read that you enjoyed building in the case, and we hope it continues to serve you well as an HTPC system. In regards to the informational documents, anyone can have access to the on our official website. However, we can forward this to our marketing team to see if we can potentially include them in the packaging in the future. Thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,

5 out of 5 eggsVery nice case for a mini-ITX build.

Pros: This is the second time I've bought this case, and probably won't be the last. Fit and finish are good. The fan is quiet, and the PSU is reasonable (received good competent technical review from C.Hegge some time ago at Hardware Insights). Using an adapter, it is possible to fit three drives in it if 2-3 of them are 2.5", and still have an optical drive. Nice clean looks.

Cons: Limited CPU cooler height, so you won't be overclocking much in this case. Thumbscrews would be nice. Only low-profile single-slot (with NO protruding fan) graphics cards will fit, making a GT740 or HD7750 the most powerful cards you'll be able to use. Will not fit RAM with tall heat spreaders if you use an optical drive. Limited cable management.

Other Thoughts: There have been two minor but positive changes since I bought the first one (did they read my first review?) which are that the power LED, while bright, will no longer bring down aircraft, and the USB3.0 cable no longer has an offset that may cause fit issues on some motherboards. If your space is limited, you can still build a powerful PC in this small case.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Joseph,

First off, thank you for being a reoccurring customer and for leaving feedback on our BP655. We do actually take your feedback very seriously, and while we may not be able to include everything that you may suggest, we truly make an effort to try and make the best possible product for our customers. Some of these suggestions have been improved with newer models, but we will still forward them to our R&D department for future product consideration. Thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case for practical build

Pros: - Small case, but still supports regular optical drive and 2 HDDs
- 300watts is plenty of power for most builds with integrated graphics
- Aesthetically pleasing
- Side vents placed just right for cooling
- Feels well built (with one exception below)
- Internal power supply is tfx, no external unit

Cons: - Noisy fan why? A great case, but now I have to get in there and replace that noisy case fan.
- Outer shell is easy to bend, I bent mine a little, but was able to get it straightened back out just fine
- PCI graphics cards are limited to single slot, itx cards. That leaves very little options if you are looking into making this a small Steam Machine. As far as I can find, the best card you can fit in this thing is an R7 250 or Geforce 750, I might be wrong. I'm not looking to install a graphics card as I went with an APU, but I just wanted to check my options and that is all I could come up with.
- Very little room for alternative cooling options, make sure you check the dimensions of an after market cooler carefully before making a decision to buy one.

Other Thoughts: I would absolutely recommend this product. No laptop HDDs and optical drives required here. You can go smaller if you like, but this one feels just right to me.

Manufacturer Response:

4 out of 5 eggsThe light. It burns!

Pros: The blue LED is powered by a fusion reactor.

Cons: The whole reactor thing.

Other Thoughts: Warning: Do not look directly at the blue LED with remaining eye.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Jason,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our BP655. The light doesn't have to be connected if it's an issue. If that was the only issue, we are happy to see you are satisfied with the product. Thank you for choosing In Win.

5 out of 5 eggsAlmost Perfect - And I dont have any reason to say it's not perfect, but I dont try to cram it with too many extras.

Pros: I am not sure if there is any reason to build a basic PC using any other case. I have built more than 10 workstations using this case and the older twin version with USB 2.0. I build them for my company and have fallen in love with them, along with a Gigabyte FA88 WIFI board, utilizing onboard graphics with an A10 processor. I use a plastic adapter to install 2 SSD drives in one bay, but you could easily have 4 and a DVD - which I don't usually install. I have only installed one graphics card, which is on the PC I am using, because I use (4) 24" monitors on a tree stand - I could run 5 with the available ports. The card is a little close to the side, but I don't believe heating will be an issue. I build inexpensive, no nonsense snappy Windows 10 64 bit workstations running 2 or 3 monitors, and now some 4k 40" TV type monitors - I feel silly every time I look at what I used to do with a mid-tower! The size, and capabilities of this case are enough for every workstation I can imagine building.

Cons: Nothing has made me mad yet...I have replaced one fan because of vibration/noise - I can happily accept that.
The wiring becomes a little confusing at the back of the power supply because of a narrow gap there, but I am happy to deal with that also.

Other Thoughts: The Mini-ITX is an awesome size, and this case is as easy to assemble as anything I have ever used. I am ordering 3 more now, and will continue to build with it.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Barry,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our BP655 chassis. We are happy to see that you enjoyed building in the case. We try to accomadate everyone's needs so it's refreshing to see that we tackled your requirements. Thank you for choosing In Win.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Little Case

Pros: Update 1/5/2015
After building computers for two other I build one for myself as a media server in my living room. As before it works great. just have to be patient with the assembly. Build Specs as follows:
1 x Seagate Archive HDD v2 8TB
1 x SAMSUNG 950 PRO M.2 256GB
1 x ASUS Z170I PRO GAMING LGA 1151
1 x Microsoft Windows 10 Home - 64-bit - OEM
1 x Intel Pentium G4400 Skylake Dual-Core 3.3 GHz LGA 1151
1 x G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 288-Pin DDR4 2800
1 x Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-2250
1 x In Win BP655 mini ITX case USB 3.0
Everything fits and is cool and quiet!
------------------------------

Really Compact, very quiet (if you have fan control on the motherboard). Seems solid. Makes a good everyday computer case, I have built two of them now in the last week using ASUS Z97I-PLUS motherboards. The kicker here is that the mother board has both a mini PCI-e and a M.2 (on the underside of the board) so I am able to have a mechanical HD and a Solid state drive with one more solid state drive bay open. However, I used the second 3.5 inch bay for cable management. To top it off there is a fill size blue ray drive in it as well!

Cons: The major con here is that in one of the builds I installed a GT 730 half height card inside and there is absolutely no clearance from the side of the case and the GPU fan. I had to cut vents in. It would be nice to see the case made 1/2 inch taller to allow some ventilation for a GPU. The other is that the front panel audio connector is a bit short for the motherboard, to short to route it around the CPU instead it got over top of the CPU. Other motherboards could be fine. As hinted in the PROS there is was not a thought for cable management and there is old school floppy and molex connectors on the power supply, I just cut them off to save space.

Other Thoughts: Both of the people that I built them for are really happy with the size of the computers, dead is the full or even micro ATX case for web browsing computers. Most people buy a computer with extra room for upgrading and then never use it, why then have a bigger case. I will probably build one for myself for my living room.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Benjamin,

Thank you for a detailed review of our BP655. We like to see all of the positives you listed, but also appreciate the details we may have over looked. Some of those details have been corrected in newer models, but some can still be suggested for future products too. We will forward this to our R&D team. We definitely don't mind hearing a bit of feedback, it's our way of catering to our customers, and improving ourselves at the same time. Thank you for choosing In Win.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Decent PSU, very small, cables will be messy but the front panel connectors aren't too short. If you replace the case fan with something better, it doesn't get too hot no noisy..

Cons: I wish the inside was already painted..

Other Thoughts: The CD/DVD bracket also shares with the two hard drives and that bracket can be removed, giving you more space. You can mount 2 SSD's to the front of the case if you do that, and you'll get better airflow thru it. The PSU can handle a A88x paired with a A8-7600, 2 sticks of ram and 2 SSDs...

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Russell,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our BP655 chassis. We happy to read that you enjoyed using the case and we will take the inside paint into consideration with future products. Thank you for choosing In Win.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: -Size
-Price
-Included PSU
-USB 3.0 (it was hard to find nice, cheap mini-ITX case with USB 3.0 on a front panel)
-Not bad quality for this price

Cons: -Bright LED's, but my motherboard has a night time mode and disables all LED while PC is still running, nice feature.
-no place for 2.5" HDD/SSD.
-5.25" drive bay is not necessary, it takes a lot of space in such small case. I think it should be replaced with slim drive bay.

Other Thoughts: I'm very pleased with this case, It is quiet when you lower fan speeds.
I have another similar design INWIN case for 3 years.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Andrey,

Thank you for taking the time in leaving feedback on our BP655 chassis. We appreciate any feedback that is left for us and we will consider your suggestions for future development. We are pleased to read that you really enjoyed the chassis. Thank you for choosing In Win.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Small, Can handle high-end processors and some overclocking, Full-size HDD and CD/DVD/BD drives

Cons: BRIGHT power LED, case fan is not PWM

Other Thoughts: This case is great for a medium-high end build. It is too small to put in top-end graphics cards, but the current generation Intel graphics are good enough for most people.

The case is small, but the vent directly above the CPU and a good fan keeps the temperature <40C when under a medium load. The case fan is adequate, but you may want to consider replacing the fan with something that can be controlled. The fan is in the corner next to the drives, so the only airflow that it can create is over the drives. The key to keeping this cool is to put a good fan over the CPU. I chose the DEEPCOOL GABRIEL because of its low profile. The fan covers most of the motherboard, including the memory. With this fan, you need to make sure to get low-profile memory to avoid interference.

The case is pretty small, but big enough to have fairly high-end components. If you want to maximize overclocking for a gaming rig, you want a different case. For someone who wants very good performance and use the on-board graphics, this is a great case.

WARNING: As stated by several other reviewers, the LED is BRIGHT. I cannot understate how bright it really is. I could not leave the computer on because it was like a flashlight shining against the wall. Disconnecting the LED wasn't my first choice because I like the visual indication of power, so I took some blue painters tape and covered the LED. It turns out that I put 3-4 layers of tape on the LED to get it to the brightness (dimness) I liked. It was easy to do, so I didn't take any eggs for that. (If you want it off, electricians tape works to black it out.)

Build:
Intel i7-4970K CPU
G.SKILL Ares 2x8GB DDR3 2400
DEEPCOOL Gamer Storm GABRIEL CPU Cooler
ASRock Z97E-ITX/ac
LG Blu-ray Burner
Samsung 850 EVO 500 GB SDD

Manufacturer Response:
