5 out of 5 eggsfantastic

Pros: beautiful case and well made! I used this for a fanless build and I have been very pleased with how it works! I prefer to use unusual cases in my builds because I keep the cases for a long time, so in 10 years I won't even think about the $$$ I paid for it. I am using this as my home server case, so I have no vid card.

Cons: NOT PRICE- because it's made of thick machined aluminum plates. that's a very expensive process and take a lot of time. I would expect any case made like this to be this expensive. I also don't see where prople complain about price- we buy a cell phone for a couple hundred dollars and use it for a year then upgrade it. this case will last decades. READ OTHER THOUGHTS.

Other Thoughts: I used this in a fanless build. this case is perfect because it's all open at the top, sides and bottom. heat won't get traped at the top, so natural convection works great. I used a Silverstone fanless heatsink and will be adding a fanless psu in a couple days to make it completely silent (except for hard drive). My cpu at fanless in this case hovers around 41 deg Celcius with the cpu at 30% utilization. I don't have a videocard, so that is also a factor, but I don't think it would make a big difference. i5 ivybridge 3750, (3.4 gig), asrock mobo, 32 gig crucial balistix ram, hitachi 2 tb hd, soon to be 400 watt seasonic fanless psu. will eventually put In a solid state hd. considering this is my home server, it only averages about 39-43watts of usage according to my kill-a-watt meater. no case fans. for a fanless design, you can't find better.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth the money

Pros: I built my new machine into this case... The build quality of this case is incredible! Ive owned cases from thermaltake/Antec/Corsair, and I dont think I have come close to ever owning one that felt this solid and high end!.

Was able to fit a Noctua NH-C14 CPU cooler into this case with no problem! the 2 CPU cooling fans are the only fans I have in my system. It is quiet and pretty powerful.

plenty of space for cable management on the back side of the board.

Just plain old different, in a good way!

Cons: couldn't properly fit the motherboard I/O shield as it had no where to really sit in the case... no biggie though, it still looks amazing with out the I/O shield on the back of the machine.

Other Thoughts: you can definitely find a cheaper case out there that does the same this that this case does and maybe does even more... If you want a case that separates your build from any other, this case will definitely do the job.

Haswell 4670k
NH-C14 Noctua cooler
Asus Z87 Sabertooth
16gb 1866Mhz LP Corsair Ram
GTX Titan
760Watt Seasonic Platinum rated PSU
All in this beautiful case.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT CASE (with some nit picks)

Pros: Beautiful inside and out. Very well though out drive bays, cabling, front panel, and more. I love the space behind the motherboard for routing cables.

I keep finding new little details (such as a bevel to hold charging phones) that impress me with how much care went into the design.

Keeps everything cool with no case fans... critical for making a quite PC. Just enough space to fit that big ZALMAN Triple Fan CPU Cooler!

Cons: I have to point out some tiny flaws, but compared to all the pros it's nowhere near taking off an egg.

- Some internal fins overlap 1/8th of an inch with the upper left corner of my mother board! This actually blocks use of the EZ Plug power connector (needed if you're using 3 or 4 way SLI). Fortunately I'm only running one video card and didn't need it or it would have been some serious dremel work to fix.

- The same fin also made it nearly impossible to plug in the required power from the power supply! I broke of the plastic clip on the cable and then it just barely slid by. I'll have to be careful that it never shakes loose.

- One of the metal rods in the back lines up with the audio jacks and makes it difficult to plug in my speakers.

- Installing the disc drive was tricky than I expected with all the other cables in the way. I wish I had done that first.

- Small SSD drive didn't detect at first. I had to unplug it then replug it once.

- One of the rubber feet fell of when I was moving the case from the floor to the desk... keep an eye on those things.

Other Thoughts: I'm super glad I want with this case. It's one of the most unusual ones I've ever had, but in the future I would want something similar. Maybe a slightly smaller version with a few tweaks to fix my nit picks.

5 out of 5 eggsSuperb case.

Pros: Looks great. I love the design. Very well thought out on the outside and on the inside.
Exceptional build quality.
HDD bays with power and SATA connector, just plug in the drives
Exceptional build quality.
Can route cables under motherboard tray, making the inside free of clutter.
Did I mention exceptional build quality?

Cons: Not cheap.
Open design as such will need cleaning more often.
Has three 3.5/2.5 and one 2.5 bays and one optical drive bay, may not be enought for hardcore users.
None are cons for me but may be for others.

Other Thoughts: I am not sure how much of a detriment open case design will be - this is replacing a very well sealed Lian-Li and the insides were still full of dust.

IMHO, if you want something exclusive looking and don't mind the premium, hard to do better than this case. I also would like to mention that it looks better in person, the pictures do not do it justice.

Great job, Inwin!

5 out of 5 eggs21st Century

Pros: Style

Cons: Price: but I'm saving my nickels and dimes right now.

Other Thoughts: This will look AMAZING on my drafting table.
Clients will love it I'm sure.

When I can get it, I'll have a piece of plexiglass cut to the same shape as the outside layer to show off my expensive techie goodies.

5 out of 5 eggsSchaweeet!

Pros: While the price might be a little high, this case is all metal. Very sturdy. The parts were machined with perfect fit tolerances. Very intuitive design. Not to mention, it looks really cool. Out of at least 20 workstations that I've built, this one was a favorite.

Cons: A little more thought with the mesh on the top of the case would have really been an attention to detail. It sort of just sits in there and has a slight sag to it. This isn't enough to lose an egg imho. A bit more consideration for liquid cooling would have been nice, even though I realize the practical intent with this case is air cooling. I had to file down the corners of the Corsair H80i in order to slide the fan holder into the case with the rad attached. Again, no biggie...5 minutes of filing and it slid right in perfectly. I love to try one of the D-Frames next if I can manage to get one.

Other Thoughts: I'd like to see this case become a standard offering just because I really dig the contemporary styling. It'd be really cool if you could choose from various anodzied options, mix and match panels and customize the case colors. Now, if I just had access to an CNC router or could really do some high end custom graphics with the aluminum and removable panels!
