3 out of 5 eggs

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Looks cool, fits large VGA cards(like the Gigabyte G1 970), has sata dock, USB 3.0 port on the front, and a 2 speed fan controller.

Cons: Rattles...I have tried everything to stop it. It's done so since day one and has gotten worse and worse and worse. Now it's impossible to curb and is so loud I can't hear voice audio from the desktop speakers and understand what is being said.

I wish the side panel behind the motherboard was very slightly deeper, for better cable management.

The harddrive lights are large and extremely bright. There is no way to shut them off or dim them, short of disconnecting them completely. If they are plugged in, it is impossible to sleep in the same room as the case while your PC is performing tasks. Makes a great nightlight though if you can get past the flashing part.

Other Thoughts: The metal seems sturdy and thick enough, but there is a lot of plastic on this case. I knew that going in, but the amount of rattle it is responsible for is insane. Removing all case fans, except the rear exhaust, and changing CPU coolers and fans did not solve the issue at all. It's so loud I removed the lid from the case entirely until I can afford to buy a better case.

5 out of 5 eggsSurprising

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This was one of my customers choices for a new build. I was surprised to see how much room there was for hiding cables behind the motherboard tray. The fan controller is a nice touch. He went with blue LED fans and the controller makes the light change brightness besides speed. The upper hard drive bay can be removed if your video card is too long. He used a GTX 970 which fit with a bit of room to spare. The red octagons on the case come in a little bag so you don't have to use them. He chose not to since he has blue lighting and they are red. The fan filters on the bottom are removable simply by pushing a little from one side towards the other and they pop right off, so even though they aren't removable like other filters are, they still come off easily. My last build was three years ago and I chose an NZXT Switch 810 white full tower. After building in this mid tower from In Win, I will be looking at them when I build my next one.

Cons: Only one front fan filter but room for 2 fans. This is a con, but I didn't deduct an egg because of all the positives associated with this build.

Other Thoughts: Customer service is great. I emailed about not having 2 front fan filters. They responded the next day and withing a few days I received a fan filter for my customer. I spoke with them on the phone before the email and they are very friendly and very helpful. Good customer service is a BIG positive. All around this was a very nice experience, both building in the tower, the looks of the tower and dealing with their customer service. In Win is a winner!

5 out of 5 eggsLove the case

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: 1.Cable management was definitely well thought out.
2.I love the color scheme, white exterior with a black interior.
3.Very spacious case.
4 Lots of airflow.
5.The look and feel of the case just screams high performance meets low cost.

Cons: 1.Can't seem to get the HDD LED to work. I mean I've hooked where it says on two different motherboards still same result.. Not gonna dock an Egg though cause it's probably something I did wrong.

Other Thoughts: I've owned full tower cases that have cost hundreds of dollars. This case has many features of those more expensive cases. I'm satisfied with the high quality look and feel of this case.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Jack,

Thank you for purchasing our GT1. Please contact us at customerservice@in-win.com, we will try to help you resolve the HDD LED problem. Thank you very much.

Best Regards,

4 out of 5 eggsGood For its Price

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Easy case to assemble in. Toolless HDD/SSD, 5.25 Bays. love the external HDD SSD Hotswap bay.

Cons: Cheap case, flexing bottom sheetmetal, one of the tabs on the front panel broke, and two of the bay covers broken now after stepping on them by accident.

Other Thoughts: Well putt together case for the money, Doubt it will fit decent non slim radiators but anything is possible.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for a budget build

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Very nice air flow design. Sturdy and light weight. The hard drive bay up top is a nice feature. Tinted side window looks great. Plenty of room for hard drives. The turbo switch was a nice touch to increase airflow.

Cons: Had to remove an egg for a non working rear exhaust fan. I purchased a white case but unfortunately the inside of the case is painted black. Wire management is not very good.

Other Thoughts: Over all I like the case. It was 59.99 when I bought it. At today's price of $75 I think I would have to keep looking. Better quality control would be nice.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Anubis,

We are sorry for the inconvenience that you have experienced. Please kindly contact our customer service department at customerservice@in-win.com. We will provide you a new rear cooling fans for replacement as soon as we can. Thank you very much.

4 out of 5 eggsFairly Solid Case

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: - Pretty good price.
- Fairly attractive aesthetic.
- The window in the side panel is neat. I get to see my nice, shiny,
new video card while gaming.

Cons: The wires for the reset and power switches on the case were mislabeled and flipped. Took a frustratingly longer amount of time to put my new rig together than I had hoped, but I eventually figured it out.
Also, it seems to not want to power on sometimes after opening up the case. especially if I opened the top lid as well. Although, this could potentially be a fault on my end (Power supply/Power strip/Power outlet possibly).

3 out of 5 eggsLooks Great

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case looks great with the mesh drive bay covers and the windowed side panel. The pre-installed red LED rear case fan also looks nice and increases in brightness when you change from silent to turbo fan mode. Not a bad case, but there are a lot better ones out there for not much more money.

Cons: There is not a lot of options for cable management and not all of the hard drive bays are removeable. The window is smoked and not completely clear and the logo is sort of annoying to look at.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good for the price

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Big case with plenty of room. Looks better than a lot of others at this price point, in my opinion.

Cons: The plastic feels relatively cheap. Cable management is subpar.

5 out of 5 eggsIn Win Case

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: -plenty of room
-panels easy to remove and work with
-looks just awesome
-good airflow design.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: -remember, there is an onboard fan controller and if you plan to have your own custom fan controller(s) the case fans are pre-wired to that system. plan accordingly.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Almost as much room as a full tower. Beautiful case that can hold 6- HHD as well as a hotswap on the front top. Nice large window on the side to view your build. Plenty of ventilation.

Cons: A bit pricy compared to the smaller cheap built cases but definitely well worth it.

Other Thoughts: You can not go wrong buying this case. I chose the white version. It differs from other white cases because it is black on the interior. Looks much nicer than the white interior cases. Spend a bit of money on a case that you will enjoy. Plenty of room and good looks makes this case.
