very quiet included exhaust fan

lots of cable routing room

USB 3.1

Cons: Panels are thin

IO shield doesnt fit

motherboard sits far back in the case

power supply mounts fan up

Other Thoughts: I originally had a review that said how my side panels shattered, and I was able to get some replacement panels sent to me.

massive thumbs up for customer support.

Also, the IO plate will not fit in this case, as I am not using one. Just something to take into consideration when buying

3 out of 5 eggsForm over function for sure.

This review is from: IN WIN 805 RED Red Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX 12V/ EPS up to 220mm Power Supply Power Supply

Pros: - Really sleek looking case. The tinted glass side windows allow you to show off all your cool hardware inside the case. The side of the front panel lights up for a bit of extra coolness and the honeycomb pattern on the front panel looks pretty sweet.
- Lightweight. The case is mostly aluminum with glass panels on the sides and front of the case.
- 3 2.5 drive mounts included. Makes it simple to mount multiple solid state HDDs inside your system.

Cons: - Case was kind of a hotbox. The big reason why I switched cases is the lack of cooling options in the case. Swapping to the coolermaster HAF X which is a much larger case dropped my temperatures by a solid 20 degrees Fahrenheit. You have one 120mm fan in the back (the only fan it came with), a mounting bracket for 2 fans or a radiator with fans in the front, and if you remove the HDD cage you can mount a fan in the bottom for intake. Unfortunately I could not mount the bottom fan since I needed my 3.5 storage drive and when I was running my games the case got quite warm to the touch.
- Limited cable management. With a mid size tower things might get a bit tight but I was having difficulty closing the side panel that hides the underside of my mobo. Had to move my cables around a few times to get it to close and was worried about cracking that tempered glass side.
- No way to mount optical drive. This is a minor gripe but the entire front panel while very nice looking gives you no options for any optical drive. Quite obvious when looking at this case but it is a negative point none the less.

Other Thoughts: Not sure if I'd recommend this case to someone else. With additional cooling options this would have been a no brainer for an aesthetically pleasing build. I enjoyed how it looked but I was quite worried about how warm my system would get under heavy load. I'd rather have my system last longer over having it look a bit nicer. I would however, be interested in seeing other cases Inwin has to offer.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Edwin,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our 805 chassis. We can definitely forward your critiques to our R&D department for future product consideration. The 805 temperatures really reflects what you put in it. As for the lack of an optical drive, it isn't present because it is a fading market for them. We do have other chassis with that feature. We try to be as informative as possible with our cases, but in the future, you are more than welcome to contact any of our social media pages (Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter), our online forum, or give us a call at (909) 348-0588. Thank you for choosing In Win.

Best regards,

2 out of 5 eggsSweet Looking Case

This review is from: IN WIN 805 RED Red Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX 12V/ EPS up to 220mm Power Supply Power Supply

Pros: -Has USB 3.1 Type-C on the Front Panel (one of the only cases)
-Sleek design
-High quality components

Cons: Since I was building a new rig, and wanted an awesome case that had support for all the features my new motherboard boasts, I thought this would be the perfect case. Much to my dismay, I found out afterwards (never even though to look) that my video card (The Zotac GeForce 980 Ti AMP! Extreme) was too large to fit!!! It's 329mm long and this case supports a maximum of 320mm for a video card. I am heartbroken...and the computer remains unfinished.

-Lacks space for the monster video cards out there

No other cons I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I am a VERY disappointed with In-Win's support thus far. I read reviews that say these people take their customers, as well as their input, very seriously. Every review on here has received a response from an In-Win rep...however I have sent 2 e-mails and made 3 phone calls to their support number on multiple occasions at different times. I have left messages with my phone number as well...not a single person has EVER called me back or replied to my e-mails. It's quite frustrating actually. I want to keep this case, and am just trying to see if they can suggest a mod to pull out another 9mm so I can keep my video card in this thing and complete the build. It's such a simple questions, and I've not even been given the time of day. Truly expected more from a company with this kind of reputation.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Jacob,

First off, we apologize for your experience with our customer service. We truly do make our customers our number one priority, and while we don't have an answer why you experienced this situation, we are certainly going to try and make the situation right. As for your question, you can fit the card, however, you wouldn't be able to place a radiator in the front. If you would like to talk it over some more, please either call (909) 348-0588 or email customerservice@in-win.com. Our business hours are from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. PST. Another option to contact us is through social media if that's any easier (In Win USA for Facebook and Instagram and @inwin for Twitter). We sincerely apologize for your experience, and we hope to hear from you soon.

Best regards,

In Win Development Inc.

3 out of 5 eggsPretty to look at, airflow is lacking.

This review is from: IN WIN 805 RED Red Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX 12V/ EPS up to 220mm Power Supply Power Supply

Pros: I liked that the case left the insides very visible.

Cons: The ventilation being on the bottom, severely hurt the case. There is simply not enough air flow. I purchased this case as part of a newegg bundle and my graphics card overheats pretty easily without even attempting to overclock. If there were ventilation on the top and bottom of the case (and potentially a space to put fans in both places) this case would be so much better.

Other Thoughts: I'm probably going to be looking for a different case with better airflow in the future. A bit disappointed that I couldn't choose a different case with the bundle considering it cost over 2k.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello ,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our 805 chassis. We are sorry to hear that your PC is overheating, but really it depends on the cooling setup you have in it. You are more than welcome to ask us on our forum or any of our social media accounts for any suggestions.

5 out of 5 eggsMost beautiful case I've ever owned!

This review is from: IN WIN 805 RED Red Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX 12V/ EPS up to 220mm Power Supply Power Supply

Pros: - Lightweight
- Can potentially fit up to 3 video cards (obviously depending on the card itself
- Gorgeous to look at
- Gorgeous when you light it up properly with some LED strips
- Very roomy, and you can fit quite a bit inside
- Great packaging to protect the case

Cons: - Only complaint is that the IO backplate didn't properly fit with the mobo I purchased (MSI Z170A XPOWER GAMING TITANIUM EDITION)

Other Thoughts: I would absolutely purchase this again. It's a bit pricey for a mid tower case, but it's completely worth it. Just be sure to run your setup without a CD/DVD/Blu ray drive, because this case doesn't have those openings in the front.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello ,

4 out of 5 eggsNice case, Feels executive gamer artwork.

This review is from: IN WIN 805 RED Red Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX 12V/ EPS up to 220mm Power Supply Power Supply

Pros: Although not actually owning myself, I have done 3 builds for separate people in this case.
Form - this case is amazing looking one of the best looking cases within its price range Aluminum and Tempered glass give an artsy appearance with an executive ascetic. Great ambient lighting, for reference this is a case you put on top of a desk, not on a floor, or tucked away underneath the desk.
I would rate this case a 5 out of 5 on appearance beautiful Job on engineering In Win.

Cons: After Form we have.....
Function - This is where the case falls apart.
The fan is garbage, sorry In Win it was a poor choice, a LED fan would have been nice or just not including one to cut your costs would have been better which in turn could knock a few bucks off for us.
Airflow is very minimalist at best and by adding more fans you loose your HDD cage(to those who are having problems mount them at the top, it requires a bit of modding to the case but well worth the effort so you don't loose the functionality)
The case needed to be a 1/2 inch wider(added cable management) and it looks from an engineering standpoint this case was meant for positive airflow, the problem is with the top of the case being a solid aluminum panel with careful modding you can add a 120.2 up top but the Mobo is 2 close and can cause problems with VRM sinks and Ram sinks, so with that being said an extra inch up top would have went a long way, with the PSU being internally drawn air and the GPU cards expelling air out the back or dumping hot air around the cards the airflow reuses hot air, so be careful as to the components you may want to use. This case works with FULL watercooling, beyond that aircooling this case can be a nightmare.

For all that 3 out of 5 on function.

Other Thoughts: I am confused by the engineering of this case, it seems like it has an executive gamer ascetic, but it can only hold minimalistic hardware do to airflow issues, after CES 2016 and the infinity mirror mod it seems issues were resolved, and hopefully that specific model will be available in the future correcting issues, hopefully, and I personally may be jumping at this case with that model. Watercooling you are fine as long as its minimalist in approach, at max I can see a max of a 120.3 being retrofitted to the front or using the front 120.2 and the rear 120 for radiators, but the case needs more access than the lower intake vent, my only other suggestion is to have a vent filtered in the top front above the lower vent with 2 intake fans opposing pushing an air vortex in the front center then having 2-3 120 fans lining after them pulling the air from the vortex to the backside of the case and the components, this takes up a lot of room inside the case though, and will keep positive airflow helping to keep dust out and from being drawn into nooks and seems of the case. I am just kicking ideas around but with that said a lot of things can be done to improve airflow without compromising the form of the case itself, and I would love to see this case eventually being evolved over several model iterations, I have worked on just about every Tempered Glass Aluminum/Steel case available and I have not really found 1 that has nailed it just quite yet I would like In WIN to beat Lian Li on this one and come up with solutions that allow us to essentially have it all.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Raymond,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our 805 chassis. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed the aesthetics of the piece. In terms of your comments regarding the specs, we will forward them to our R&D department for future considerations. Thank you for choosing In Win.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful Case, InWin does it again!

This review is from: IN WIN 805 RED Red Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX 12V/ EPS up to 220mm Power Supply Power Supply

Pros: The most impressive thing about this case is the look. When clients are spending upwards of $5000 for custom builds, they expect, not only world class performance, but for their PC to be a work of art. Needless to say, the InWin 805 is a go to for me for that exact reason. In fact, what other reason is there to buy a case? It has all the same functionality of the other major competitors but brings an element of design with its all glass look that is unique to this manufacturer. If this look is something you enjoy, there simply is no substitute.

Cons: As with any component where glass is a major ingredient, cracking, chipping and breaking of the glass is possible. I wouldn't call the glass panels to be fragile, but you have to take extra care when transporting this thing. Additionally, cable management is a little tricky since there are so few metal mounting brackets to hide the cables behind so I would say sleeved cables are a must here. The biggest drawback is airflow. For an air cooled build, all of your intake is done from the bottom (the front is a solid panel although mounts for two 120mm fans are available) and all exhaust is done through a single 140mm or 120mm vent in the back. The only simple cooling configuration that makes sense is to run a push/pull setup with a 140mm AIO water cooler for the CPU on the back vent and add two 120mm fans at the bottom, which displaces the HDD bay.

Other Thoughts: Although not without a few minor issues, this is a terrific option. It has a clean, beautiful look that you simply can't find with another manufacturer. Because its entirely aluminum and tempered glass, the feel of the case is terrific and a testament to craftsmanship and attention to detail. I use this frequently for high end clients that request a full water loop to cool all of the components because air cooling isn't as ideal. Keep up the great work InWin.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Dmitry,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our 805 chassis. We do agree, that the looks of a case is certainly important and want our customers to experience their PCs, not just own them. We do see all of your critiques and can certainly pass along the messages to our R&D team for future considerations. Thank you for choosing In Win.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful case does everything you need if you are smart enough to read the paperwork ahead of time.

This review is from: IN WIN 805 RED Red Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX 12V/ EPS up to 220mm Power Supply Power Supply

Pros: +Looks amazing and that is the main point in this case. Get a Fully Modular Power Supply and you can make the interior look very nice with minimal effort.
+quality, this case for mostly being covered in glass is very sturdy brushed aluminium on top.
+Comes with a Headset rest that mounts on the glass.
+Big enough for my 980 TI and my Corsair hydro cooler
+Ability to shift/remove plates inside. There are additional metal plates you can remove if you need to run more cables and such.
+3 HDD/SDD cages seeing they are hidden fairly well when all closed up more than enough for a normal person.

Cons: -LED light on case only lights up the INWIN on the side.
-no optical drive bay which again if you read before hand not an issue I used my external Optical Drive.
-limited cooling options. Firstly the PSU has to be installed upside down. You have to have this off the floor as the only real air intake is right under the HDD Bays as the front is glass as well. I have the front fans pulling through to the back

Other Thoughts: Amazing case if you can get it at the discounted price and are smart enough to not need an internal optical drive or fan controller (seeing most mobo software includes fan controller options). You will have a beautiful case. I added a pair of Corsair LED Quiet fans and a $5 red led strip and the interior looks amazing.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello Phillip,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our 805 chassis. We do value the opinions of all of our customers and it's nice to hear hear you appreciate the case. We will note your suggestions, and froward them to our R&D department for future reference. Our customer feedback is what makes us evolve our practice. Thank you for choosing In Win.

5 out of 5 eggsIgnore Those 1 Egg Reviews....

This review is from: IN WIN 805 RED Red Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX 12V/ EPS up to 220mm Power Supply Power Supply

Pros: -very roomy case
-excellent airflow
-absolutely gorgeous, dang is that tempered glass nice
gorgeous leds
-3.1 support on front of case
-moveable drive bay, take that out and mount ssds right above the psu
-simple cable management

Cons: -for some reason my audio jacks on the front of the case stopped working, definitely the cabling which is a shame, though i usually use a toslink dac which is in the back anyway so its only a minor loss
-includes 1 fan for a case that supports 5 lol, not sure of the quality I replaced mine with something better right away

Other Thoughts: great case for a first build or experienced builder alike, it supports quite a bit of cooling so wether you decide to go air or watercooling you will be well supported, running a monster of a computer setup with all fans and a push-pull cpu cooler on a simple littler hyper 212 im seeing cpu temps of around 60 and gpus of 75, the tempered glass is pretty solid and while it does feel delicate it isn't like it is going to shatter

the addition of a fan cover is nice as well

Manufacturer Response:

Hello ,

Thank you for leaving feedback on our 805 chassis. We are glad that you enjoyed the case, but are a bit disappointed to hear about your audio jacks. If you like, you can forward your issue to customerservice@in-win.com and we can see about potentially repairing or replacing the part. Thank you for choosing In Win.

This review is from: IN WIN 805 RED Red Aluminum / Tempered Glass ATX Mid Tower Computer Case Compatible with ATX 12V/ EPS up to 220mm Power Supply Power Supply

Pros: Excellent looking case. The size is just right

Cons: I bought the case 199.99$ and after 2 month the case 169.99$ why no more buy from inwin i'm with corsair before never price down for 2 moth 30 box.
Stock fan sucks.
