3 out of 5 eggsPretty good case, far from perfect

Pros: Light (for its large size), unusual design makes for cleaner cable management,

Cons: Expensive, hard drives are cooled poorly and unevenly, somewhat easier to scratch than normal steel cases.
The casters (wheels) are extremely poorly implemented. They are made out of aluminum like the rest of the case, even though it is a terrible material for casters. They come with rubber sleeves to give them some traction, but they were an afterthought--with no notch to keep them on, they slide off the casters after rolling only a few feet. Locking mechanism for casters is not implemented especially well, gets loose sometimes, and often requires that you roll the case a little in order to lock at all.

Other Thoughts: I have the smaller version of this case (PC-V1000) for my desktop system which has the same problems. I bought one of these cases to be used with a mass-storage backup server because of the large number of hard drive slots. The 8 SATA Seagate drives get pretty warm, so I doubt this case would be safe to use with a large number of hot 10K or 15K SCSI/SAS drives. Maybe with a high-speed (loud) aftermarket 120MM fan.
Would have rated it a 4 except that for this very high price I'd expect more attention to detail.

4 out of 5 eggsLian Li - Lexus

Pros: Super execution - well made! Lots of screws, etc. Everything fit together perfectly. Really nice hard disk set up. I love the aluminum case!

Cons: Website awful! Poor documentation and spec information! Design put the PS on the bottom - heat rises duh. . . Big fans, but cooling is marginally efficient around the MB.

Other Thoughts: It's a beautiful box, but the lack of documentation on the website made it a real pain to plan for the implementation. The power supply space was too small for the Enermax PS I tried to shoe horn into it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorth every penny

Pros: Fantastic airflow and lightweight. Bought the case 2 years ago for a watercooled system and it has been awesome. Lots of space for everything, including water pump and a huge radiator. The drive bay section on the bottom is 'thermally isolated' with a aluminum wall as well.

Cons: The rubber things for the wheels kinda stink, they tend to roll right off the wheels.

Other Thoughts: The mobo position is kinda wierd, make sure your SATA cables are really long.

5 out of 5 eggsBest of the Best

Pros: This case has execeded my every expectation. overall cpu temps have dropped from an average 110 degrees to about 84. MB temp is about 76 degrees, impressive!!
I'm running an A8V-Deluxe with a venice core 3500 OC'ed,and a 850xt-pe ati card that is also OC'ed and running at about 80 degrees. the 120m fan pushes the air right through the case. Love the fact that the AGP card for the first time, is up-right. plenty of room for my scsi devices. and if your into alternative cooling, this case will meet your needs, then some!! I have modded more than my share of cases and I will say this beats eveeryone of them. Well worth the money spent.

Cons: Only one.......YOU DON"T OWN THIS..YET!!

Other Thoughts: I've been building Nodes for 13 years, and have custom modded cases for customers with some degree of sucess, when it comes to keeping a system cool. I've done it. I have a case i built 7 years ago with the MB upside down. Kinda wish I sent the design into be manufactured.
