The Lian Li's Lancool PC-K7B seamlessly blends style and function in one case that features a durable SECC body and Aluminum panels, to provide superior cooling for your high-performance components. The case includes dual 120mm front intake fans and a 120mm rear exhaust fan for efficient ventilation. The top I/O panel hosts 2 USB 2.0 ports, a FireWire connector, and audio jacks.
The PC-K7B is thoughtfully designed for users who access the interior of their case frequently, with protective plastic casing on interior edges, to keep your hands from getting cut. The case offers space for three 5.25” and one 3.5" external drives, four 3.5” internal drives, and 7 full size expansion slots.
Here you'll find almost everything you need to build a great gaming system today, and it'll support your expansions for some time to come!
Pros: This is a very lightweight case. The steel frame is very sturdy, and the lightweight panels, all of which are removable, fit together nicely and have a high quality finish. The motherboard tray, which is also removable, has well-placed pass-through holes and clips for cable management. The 5.25" drive bays are tool-less, and the hard-drive installation not only makes addition and removal simple but also is designed to absorb vibration. The 2 front 12cm fans provide excellent and quiet air intake and are well protected against dust with the included filters, and the rear 12cm fan has a fan guard to prevent interference from any wayward cables or fingers. The cables for the top-mounted I/O ports and LEDs are plenty long to reach headers on practically any motherboard. The overall look of the exterior is understated but elegant.
Cons: I can honestly say that I can't think of a single thing wrong with this case.
Other Thoughts: This is the first Lian Li case I have ever purchased, and I can't imagine why I didn't buy one before now. It was a pure joy to work with, and I highly recommend this case without hesitation for it's appearance, ease of use, cooling capacity, and overall quality. If the look isn't your cup of tea, the Lian Li PC-B25B and PC-K10B are almost exact analogues to this case.

Case of my Dreams

Pros: This case is darn near everything I dreamed of, it has one issue, but because it isn't a problem I won't let it drop down to 4 stars. The light weight aluminum skin and well thought out design makes this case a breeze to work with when it comes to installing your components. I've always loved the motherboard trays on older AT machines that cost $20, but they soon went to the way side, I am glad I found a case with one. The HD cage isn't as removable as the instructions make it out to be, but the fact that it is rotatable fits the bill just fine. The filtered fans is just what the doctor ordered since my Antec NSK6500 doesn't have any(the Solo series does). The sleek no frills look of it was definitely a key selling point. I am not one for shapes, LEDs, or gills and vents and windows all over the place.
Cons: The instructions mention the HD cage is easily removable, but it requires removing 10 screws total as there are two brackets holding the cage firmly that are accessed by removing the front cover and then you can remove the 4 bottom screws. The cable retention arms on the back of the motherboard tray will only hold thinner/smaller cables such as the cables coming from the top.
Other Thoughts: The HD cage and the newer video cards may not get along together if the cage is rotated 180 degrees. I have a XFX GTX 260 Core Edition card and it has less than a centimeter of space between it and the HD cage. However, with the HD cage in the stock position, it may prove to be an obstruction for airflow of the dual 120mm fans.

Pros: Monolithic design and black brushed aluminum is very sharp. Good potential for air flow. Well placed cable management cutouts. Not flashy in the slightest.
Cons: The Switch/LED wires are almost too short to reach the motherboard. You can't even route them through the clips they are intended to be routed through let alone try to tuck them out of sight. Certain hardware is tiny and could easily be stripped if you aren't conscious of what you're doing. Motherboard standoffs are fine pitch thread and are put in the same bag as flanged coarse thread screws (I ruined one standoff assuming they went together).
The included 120mm fans are cheap 1000rpm sleeve bearing units which will need to be replaced in 10 months.
How long will it take the hard drive isolators to dry-rot?
Other Thoughts: I like my Cooler Master RC-690 a little better, but aesthetically this Lancool is much more apporpriate for my father's new rig.

Pros: -Beautiful, stealthy appearance. -Removable motherboard tray. -Aluminum exterior with steel interior. -Excellent cable management. -Great tooless system. -Amazing build quality. -Three 120mm fans included; all of them silent. -Firewire on the front. -Easily removable front panel. -Dust filters on the front. -Very well-ventilated. -Comes with cable clips and ties.
Cons: -The stock fans, while silent, don't move as much air as I would've preferred. -While Lian Li gives you plenty of cable holes, you have to be smart when hiding them, because fitting the right side panel back on will be a challenge.
Other Thoughts: Excellent case for under $100. No plastic garbage, and a sleek black finish.

Great looking case

Pros: I really like the exterior appearance and the interior layout. Lots of room to work. Very light! Includes three installed case fans.
Cons: I agree with others about the sidewalls - they do seem a touch thin. Wouldn't be hard to make a dent. Attacts fingerprints. Plastic feet.
Other Thoughts: I didn't check the dimensions before ordering. This case is over 19 inches deep, which makes it too large for my desk cubby. Wish they made a case with the same aesthetics but just a touch smaller (like the Antec P180 Mini). Having to return is such a waste of money. Measure twice order once!
