5 out of 5 eggsAmazing case!

Pros: Excellent case for gaming systems, work stations or even a file server. Takes up to an E-ATX motherboard so you system building options are open to using dual CPU server/work station motherboards. Roomy case with plenty of easy access hard disk bays so RAID arrays are an easy install.

Cons: Could be a bit more quiet but what do you expect from big CPU coolers and high end graphics cards?

Other Thoughts: I bought this case for my brothers gaming PC and it easily allows upgrades to large motherboards with multiple GPU's. It has enabled him to grow from an old Athlon 64X2 to the latest AMD Phenom with two graphics cards. I plan on buying another in the near future to replace my old case that is limiting my upgrade options.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Good Case

Pros: -Great Looking
-Quiet (Not Silent)
-Very Expandable (6 Internal HDD, 5 External 5 1/4)
-Front Intake
-Top Input/Output Panel
-Relatively Large
-Bottom Mounted PSU with bottom vent
-Removable Motherboard tray

Cons: -Cable routing is okay at best
-Side panels aren't flush
-Bright Power Light
-Reset Button is unusable

Other Thoughts: First build, so first case I've had to really deal with front start to end so it is hard to compare. I find the case (with a GTX260) quiet quiet under normal use, and during games (at max settings) I dont find it loud, but definitely audible. The removable motherboard tray was very easy to use. The card holder thing seems useless for my graphics card, which is unfortunate because I thought it would be a great feature to keep strain off my motherboard. Because the case is split, keeping the HDD and PSU seperated from everything else, it is hard to route cables through the 2 holes it gives you and you end up tucking all your extra power cables around the unit, reducing the airflow to it. The HDD cage is a little hard to use because the ports are on the side of the case but then again it gives you move slots for them. The instructions suck and they give you an extra internal fan which i would like to put in, but cannot determine where it goes. Overall a great case with some minor problems

5 out of 5 eggsNice... very nice

Pros: • Large, plenty of space
• Aluminum, my first
• They thought of everything on this case. When I thought, I wonder if/how, I looked at the parts and there was my answer.

Cons: • You don't seem to want to get fingerprints on it.
• The aluminum casing allows more sound through than my previous CM case.

Other Thoughts: It has three large fans included. All three have the three pin connector so my Asus WS Revolution actually temperature controls the fan speeds, not the built in controller. Some complain it doesn't get enough air for their likings, but I don't see how. At one time, we only used 1 80 mm fan to cool cases. This case has (1) 140mm, and (2) 120mm fans. If you increase the speed, there should be no problem on the highest performing setups. My i7 with the stock cooler runs the same temps others have reported with traditional fan setups, and the motherboard temp reports similar temps. The internal fan is a nice touch, because it ensures there is air blowing directly onto the cpu, chipset, memory, and regulator heatsinks.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This was my first build and this case is really nice and easy to put together.

Cons: Ive been having heat problems. My CPU over heats in WOW and skype. im running an intel i7. im running Nvidia GTX 285 on SLI and they run hot because of the metel plate between the GPUs and the power supply. i cant get any air to them. if your running one GPU i think this case would work great but SLI is just 2 much for it. then again the 285s are the size of a X-large pizza box.

Other Thoughts: i might just be dumb. this is a great case just dont put to much in it.

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful Case

Pros: It's beautiful and very pretty to look at. Made of aluminum and has lots of room on the inside. I have a GTX 260 in there with a lot of room to spare.

Cons: No intake fan for the motherboard section of the case.
A bit expensive.

Other Thoughts: You can't go wrong with this case. It costs a lot, but you get what you pay for.

5 out of 5 eggsBest Case.

Pros: This case has a lot of room. I am happy with this case. I fit 3 9800gtx+ with ease. I also fitted my 1000w corsair psu in there without taking the hdd cage. Though I do think there should be a little more room to fit all the cables on ths psu. It's a nice clean subtle case IMO. I would highly consider this case to anyone because with a lot of room you can fix it any way you want it. It is big so i just have it as an ideal home use.

Cons: Nothing except i couldn't route the 8-pin connector through the back of the mobo (780i). So the route is visible on top but it's a pretty small con I can deal with. Other than that, top notch.

Other Thoughts: Love this case, decided to drop for this case because as I make upgrades it will only be on the parts, not the case. 10 year+ I hope.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat case!!

Pros: Spacious, wheels w/ brake, tool-less side panel removal, solid construction, HDD installation system, top USB/esata/1394/audio panel, PSU anti vibration, PCI support bracket, fan control and it goes on. This is a really full featured super mid tower with modern layout (psu on the bottom).

Cons: Filters really only cover the 140mm HDD fan all the other faceplates are swiss cheese (but i knew that when i bought it). I noticed that the rear pci face-plate was not a perfect 90% but still works just have to crank down on the hold down screws

Other Thoughts: I plan to water cool in this case so the extra space will help with my goal of a completely internal liquid cooling system. With the advent of the 2.5" SSD and its adaptation to the desktop pc it would be nice if they included a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter. This and the listed cons are extremely minor complaints against an outstanding case.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: excellent build quality, plenty of room, good ventilation

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: 5.25" bay covers aren't very secure, power LED is ridiculously bright. i removed one of the hard drive brackets to make more room for my corsair 1000W power supply.

5 out of 5 eggswell done lian

Pros: Roomy, nice finishes/edges, lots of hardware, solid design, light weight, absolutely love the side panel removal; great for a water cooling set up

Cons: Not sure if these are cons but things i have noticed while working on it:
When i removed the harddrive cages they were a tight fit and upon removing them the black finish on the bottom got scratched, its my fault, but was such a tight needed?

Also i would have liked some room behind the mobo tray for wires; there's a little room but definately not enough for the main atx cable to be tucked away.

Other Thoughts: I completely took the case apart, minus anything held by rivets. I was impressed with the quality throughout the case; it had been awhile since i had used a lian, glad i returned. I am doing a water cooling set up and everything has worked perfectly, given i have done a lot of custom fitting and cutting. Plenty of room for components; my build makes the case look empty.

In all, this is a great case. If you need room or just want a case that is easy to work on, looks stunning and is built with quality look no further. I did a lot of research before i got this case and was well aware of the size...not sure i would call it a mid tower though. My last case, a CM690, felt cramped compared to this. Also, not many people have this one or are aware of how nice it really is. Quit looking at the tj07 and go for the 1010! Cons aren't cons, just issues i ran into. So in my eyes lians got a perfect case built up, and all you gotta do is throw your components in there and make her look pret

4 out of 5 eggsBig case

Pros: Removable tray makes mobo, CPU, cooler and DRAM installation easier and safer. Nice fit, finish and construction as I'd expect from other Lian Li cases. Plenty of room for a large PSU. Lots of interior space makes system build easier. Nice wiring for top panel ports.

Cons: I should have looked more closely at the specs, the case is considerably larger than I expected based on the older V1000 series case with wheels I own.

The LIAN LI badge centered over the front case fan is mounted via standoffs using holes in the case. While the case is attractive, the badge isn't and I'll have to cover the holes with something when I pry the badge off.
