5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Case is real user friendly, with lots of access and plenty of room for a large video card.
Running Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD7, I7 - 920, 6 G of OCZ 1600 memory and Radeon 5850.
Had to add huge heatsink (Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme) to keep the processor cool it fits no problem.
Also like how light weight the case is.

Cons: Not sure why the processor was running so hot and if it had to do with the case. Only room for one case fan up front and one in the back. Maybe the case is part of the problem, maybe not.

Other Thoughts: I really like the way the case assembles and dissasembles. The top comes off of this one and without that I would have had to pull the motherboard to access the thumb screws for the giant heat sink.

5 out of 5 eggsI love AL cases.

Pros: Quality Construction and looks classy
Case was 18” tall which was a requirement in this case.
There is plenty of room for the large CPU cooler.
There is plenty of room for the bottom mounted power supply.
There is plenty of room for the long HD-5850 card.

Cons: Wire management was tight; the case could be ½” wider in the back and have better cutouts for wiring. There also could have been a cutout for the 8 pin power connector on the MB back plate.
I didn’t like the top mounted controls and had to buy a Lian Li set of drive slot mounted controls.
Non removable MB back plate but I knew that when I bought it.

Other Thoughts: This is my third Lian Li case and again they did not disappoint me. This one was fitted with a Asus P6X58D motherboard, V8 Cooler, ATI HD-5850 ref card, four HD’s, one optical Drive and one SSD Drive. The CPU is running over clocked at 3.8 GHz and 28c to 32c idle with ambient temps around 68f. There is room for another HD-5850 card. I did make a few small cuts in the case for wire management purposes. I bought another Lian Li PC-A70F full sized tower case today for another project

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: I was looking for a very clean case with 2 large fans front and rear and nothing on the sides or the top. Another criteria was space to hide cables since i do not have a modular PSU (yet). Some reviewers claimed it had very little room, but I found able room behind the PSU to tuck away all the cables that I was not using.

Some reviewers claimed you had to remove the opposite side of the case to attach HD cables but there was plenty of slack in the cables to attach them first and then push the HDs in. I don't use more than 2 optical drives so having only 2 tool-less slots was not an issue. I also just bought a 250GTS which had ample clearance behind it.

Both sides of the case and the PSU are attached with thumb screws so removal is a piece of cake, the front panel also comes off without any complaints and goes back in solid.

Aesthetically the colour of the case is very pleasant to the eye and it has an extremely simple design. No flashy lights to distract from this sharp cas

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: The case feels extremely solid and very light. Lian-Li makes great cases. It may cost a bit more but well worth it.

5 out of 5 eggsOUTSTANDING case!

Pros: - No unfinished/raw cut edges to cut your fingers, hands or arms on
- PLENTY of space to work in
- Both side panels come off equally easy, which makes the initial build and cable routing much easier
- Anything with a motor has rubber or foam dampers where it touches or connects with the case frame
- Well-engineered in general. You take this for granted until you get some **** case with something that makes you go "why the **** would they [not] put this there??"
- 120mm fans are much quieter than 80mm, excellent airflow in general
- This is pretty common now, but tool-free 3.5" and 5.25" drive installation is excellent
- It comes with stuff to help with cable routing

Cons: I hate glowy things. Unfortunately, my power supply has big blue LED, and the PSU is located directly behind the front fan, which means it glows through, which is especially obnoxious in the dark. Not enough to make the case lose an egg though.

Other Thoughts: Maybe a little pricier than the typical $100-range case, but totally worth every penny of investment. Would buy again... and again, and again and again...

5 out of 5 eggsRepeat Customer of This Great Case

Pros: Well designed for building your own system. Lots of little features that make building a PC into this case a lot less of a headache.

Pre-cut holes for adding liquid cooling.

Enough room to run most cabling behind the motherboard and next to the 5.25" bays. Helps keep the case neat, and having the cables out of the way makes it easy to insert those giant modern graphics cards.

Hard drive bays are removable and come with padded clamps to hold down the drive. The tray itself is suspended by rubber washers in the case to prevent resonance from drive vibration.

The top two 5.25" bays have clips that lock a CD/DVD/BD drive into place when you slide it in, at the right position to be flush with the front panel.

The PSU is positioned under the motherboard. This gives the 5.25" bays more room to the rear and is very useful if you are installing hard drive caddies.

The case is very light, yet sturdy.

The front fan has a removable dust filter which works great.

Cons: Space behind the PSU for extra cables is really tight, I heartily recommend a modular PSU for this case to reduce clutter. It was even a tighter fit for me because I put a pump for liquid cooling in that area.

Stock fans are not the same quality as the case. For a case of this quality I would be hoping for nearly dead silent fans. They aren't terribly loud but loud enough to warrent replacement.

I replaced the stock fans with Scythe Slipstream fans and all is well.

If the case had been two inches longer all the clearences for video cards and the PSU would be perfect. The case is a little tight at its size.

Other Thoughts: Great case! Buy it! Get a quiet 120mm fan and a quiet 140mm fan and enjoy!

If you're watercooling and need more room for the pump at the bottom you can sacrifice the bottom hard drive cart and stuff your extra PSU wires there and that will clear up room in the bottom for a pump.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Quality

Pros: Excellent quality case. You get a sense that the inside was engineered with the intent that it would get compared to others. Very well built. Size is perfect for someone looking for a mid to small build capable of fittting a Radeon 5850. Aluminum! nice and light weight

Cons: -The sides could come off smoother. (not important though)
-There is only a half inch or so underneath the motherboard tray to store cables. Don't expect to use that to tidy things up.
-Cost? You are getting a fairly basic case (function-wise) for more money than other brands.
-Don't expect to get the longest video cards to fit.

Other Thoughts: You will be happy with this case if you want a clean look and have a small to mid build in mind.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality Utilitarian Case

Pros: - Light-weight
- Rubber dampeners for PSU, optical drives, and hard drive bays to reduce vibration noise.
- 4 Rubber feet to reduce vibration of entire case.
- Quiet case fans
- Air filter for front 140mm fan
- Nearly everything is removable, I especially appreciate how the front panel can simply pop off and allow access to the front fan filter.
- Ample space for longer video cards (I have a 5770 with many inches to spare.
- Space for after-market heat sink (I have a Coolermaster Hyper 212+ plus and it fits easily.)
- Hard drive bays are an interesting design but i am very satisfied with the ease of installation.
- Bottom mount PSU can be positioned upright or upside-down, allowing you to position the fan the way you want.
- Plenty of room for longer PSU's
- Came with extra screws, twist ties, foam pads, etc.
- Nice-looking brushed aluminum look, very unassuming, no extravagant frills (with the exception of the fan LED's, see "other thoughts")

Cons: Many of these cons may not apply to your particular situation, and i think they are pretty minor, but I'm including them in case they might affect someone else.

- Side panels generally come off easily, but occasionally the bottom part gets caught on the chassis, and you have to wiggle it out.
- No removable motherboard tray, if that is your preference.
- Not quite enough space behind the motherboard to route extra cables (although I found space behind the HDD rack and under it.)
- Not enough airflow for a hard-core SLI/crossfire setup, as it has one 140mm intake and one 120mm exhaust fan. However, it is a great cooling setup for all but the mentioned overkill builds (my temps are all <50C after hours of full load.
- Front fan LED's are garish, in my opinion.
- Power LED can be very bright if viewed straight on
- Chassis fan power wires could stand to be slightly longer.

Other Thoughts: System:

i7 860 stock
Asus P7P55D
Radeon HD 5770
2x Western Digital 1TB HDDs
Cooler Master Hyper 212+ Plus cpu heatsink
Corsair 750HX 750w modular PSU

Planning on reusing this case multiple times, so the price was less of an issue for me.

The front fan has 4 blue LED's, 1 at each corner. each of these has two clear wires running to it. If you want an LED-less case, before installing other components, remove the HDD rack (unscrew 4 screws on the underside of the case + 1 connected to front of the case) and pull off the front panel and unscrew the fan. Then you can pull the fan out of the case and have easy access to the LED wires. simply cut each of the LED's wires, being sure to avoid cutting the main fan's power wire, and you'll have a nice, dark case with no bling.

I'd recommend a modular PSU to keep wires to a minimum, as the case is compact (which I like).

5 out of 5 eggsSlick case, easy build

Pros: I am a fan of Lian-Li aluminum cases and this case is very well built. The sides come off without a struggle, front snaps off to access removable front fan filter. Large fans move a lot of air with very low noise. This was a very easy build.

I like quiet machines, so I went with an SSD drive and passive cooling on the motherboard and VGA. The case fans move a lot of air and stay quiet even when running at full speed.

Cons: Motherboard tray is not removable. There is a cutout to get access to the back of the motherboard so you can bolt on a bracket for a new fan without removing the board.

I agree with other reviewers that the fan led is as bad as it sounds, plus it give you a way to tell if the machine is on. The fans are very quiet.

Other Thoughts: Intel Core i7 920 2.66 Ghz
Asus P6T SE
2GB OCZ DDR3 1600 x3
Intel X-25M 80G SSD
Gigabyte GV-N96TSL-1GI Silent Cell VGA
CORSAIR CMPSU-750W 80 Plus Silver PSU

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome

Pros: Beautiful, elegant case. Extremely well made. Aluminum is gorgeous and extremely light. Fan filters. Power suply at bottom for stability. Round edges, rubber gaskets - strictly top shelf!

Cons: Side panels can be finicky to get on/off. Wish it had more than 3 drive sleds. Wish there was a way to turn off fan lights.

Other Thoughts: As others have said, the fan lights are surprisingly un-tacky. What are you waiting for - buy it!!!

5 out of 5 eggsBest Lian Li case

Pros: Aluminum Case, Amazing quiet fans, easy to install, screwless, liquid cooling options.

Cons: NONE!

Other Thoughts: This is by far the best computer case I ever bought. I didn't want a fancy case with a million neon lights & a view screen of what was in the computer. Everything about this case was perfect! When I completed building the computer and turned the computer on for the first time I thought the computer didn't turn on because I didn't hear any fans. I soon realized how quiet the fans were because the computer was on. Airflow is great! Flow comes from the front HUGE fan and exits the back. I had plenty of room to fit any size video card. I personally put an ATI radeon 5750 and had plenty of room. If you are like me and don't like cases that blind you with neon, this one is for you!
