1 out of 5 eggsJust solved the vibration issue with the side panels!

Pros: See how below

Cons: See how below

Other Thoughts: I'm sitting here annoyed by the rattling side panels to the point I feel like punching this case and I suddenly got an idea. I just fixed the problem. Take off the side panels and place some tight fitting rubber bands over the three bottom clips that latch onto the case. Then put the side panels back on. Mine was a little tight, but NO MORE RATTLING!!!

1 out of 5 eggsSame problems as user levi_v, and more!

Pros: Looks very nice, lightweight, no sharp edges. I recommend getting the version that has the 120mm rear exhaust like I did, if you must get this case at all.

Cons: Mine also rattles too much from the side pannel near the front.

The top blow hole is worthless. I tried 4 different "silent" fans and all 4 produced terribly loud vibrations and air noise. I even used a silcone fan mount to reduce vibration. The problem is that the cut out does not provide enough air flow. You have to run a silent fan at 6v or less, or else it's too loud.

The HD bracket is mounted with two screws that get blocked when you install the drives, which makes it impossible to re-mount the HD caddy. You can't install the HD's unless the removable HD caddy is in place and screwed to the case. This makes the removable HD caddy completely non-removeable. I suppose you could get around this problem if you were to replace the two screws used with some thumb screws.

My other problem was my rear fan started making noises after 2 weeks. I tried contacting Lian Li for a replacement and they ignored me. I tried contacting ADDA, and they told me to contact Lian Li.

Other Thoughts: Little problems and oversights/lack of engineering combinded with unacceptable customer service should not be words used to describe a $100 case and its manufacturer. I thought I was buying top of the line, but it turns out I just overpaid. I seriously doubt I will ever buy another Lian Li case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat looking and functioning case

Pros: Case is very easy to work with. Front pannel comes off for ease of access to fan filter. The front usb and firewire are great. The brushed aluminum looks great and very professional. I have built all my machines with Antec cases but I will change to use Lian Li cases from now on.

Cons: not at all. well maybe leaving finger prints on the inside of the shiny aluminum but who will look inside anyway.

Other Thoughts: You will not be disappointed

3 out of 5 eggsNot too bad

Pros: Great Space, Large front fan, Good heat disipation, Solid construction, Front connectors, and quiet.

Cons: It rattles too much from the side pannel and the front (first case I have had that has done this). The Hard drive bracket is mounted with two screws that get blocked when you put a drive in the lowest position, which makes it hard to re-mount.

Other Thoughts: All in all not a bad case, I just don't like the rattle...For the price of the case I wouldn't expect to have this problem.

4 out of 5 eggsThinking about buying.

Pros: Aluminum is easily heat disipated with lil or no assistance with fans, I am looking to purchase this later this year. Hopefully I can enjoy the ease of cleaning pcs out every month. but This looks like a case of my choice.

Cons: If possible, avoid steel cases. two hard drives and two dvd and dvd burners along with other necessary stuff to make pc run. can add up the weight. this case with steel weighs close to 70 lbs. try to lean toward the aluminum case for ease of carrying pc from place to place.

Other Thoughts: I am debating whether or not i want to buy this case. I have read reviews. I am mainly interested in important pc life. that is cooling. I am considering upgrading case for my gf. the pc gets hot and acts up. I think its poor circulation of needed air. Hopefully This case will do the trick no matter the cost. It depends on you.

4 out of 5 eggsPlus with a Minus

Comments: This is an excellent case, the only one I use for all my builds! However, the one NewEgg sells has an 80mm rear case fan, while some other vendors (I will not name) carry the PC-7A Plus with a 120mm fan in back. The latter is far quieter and really moves a lot of air at low RPM. Strange that Lian-Li (and more so, NewEgg) opted to produce so many sub-versions of this case. And I regret that so far I have been unable to convince NewEgg to carry the windowed editions of the Lian-Li cases. :-/

5 out of 5 eggsPleased

Comments: My second Lian Li case. First was a PC60APlus. It appears the PC-7A is basically the same case without the rear 120mm blower, reversed 80mm/deflector cover for the CPU, removable MB tray and drive carrier is a lil' different. The (2) 80mms,
top and rear were a little weak so I replaced them with good ball-bearing fans. Seem a little more quiet and should last a lot longer. Also, went with this case because my Big Typhon wouldn't fit my PC60APlus w/o removing blower and CPU cooler deflector. Works great in the PC-7 A Plus. AMD-3500 running CS =35Celcius.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent case

Comments: This is my very first Lian-Li case and I must say I am delighted. In asthetics and quality, you won't be dissapointed.

Pros:
1) Excellent build quality
2) Aesthetic appeal
3) Very light
4) very expandable

Cons:
1) The front/sound panel for Mic and Headphones cable is very short, may have a difficult time connecting it to the motherboard if the on-board connector is far away
2) No removable motherboard tray

5 out of 5 eggs

Comments: This is a nice case. Simple, but with all the features you really need. It does not have a motherboard tray, but do you really need it? The side panels were vibrating, but if you just tighten the flabs, it fixed the problem.
