5 out of 5 eggs2nd Lian Li Case

Pros: Everything I was looking for in a case... not flashy, just clean, simple, and well designed.... I highly recommend you browse the manufactures website first to get the best idea of what you want and then search new-egg.... I spent about 4 hours researching before I went with this one...

Cons: miss the old filter style....Shipping almost as much as the case if you live in Hawaii, but worth it...

Other Thoughts: My last Lian li case I purchased in 2003, and now my friend has it.... still a wonderful case.... but now you can see the evolution lian li was been going through the past few years..... the Aluminum is much thinner now... which makes it even lighter..

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Great case on basic features. Very clean looking in keeping with the majority of Lian Li cases. Easy to install. Does a fair job at cooling even with only 2 120mm being stock. Finish seems durable and did not scuff during build. Built in hard drive cage is amazing, loved the idea.

Cons: Would like to have seen a few more fan mounts either front or side. Both fans installed were venting out I prefer positive pressure cooling so have to switch them around. The price is a bit high but the features are plentiful. would have like to have seen some kind of rubber grommets for the hard drives. Also more room on the backside of the mother board for cable management would have been nice.

Other Thoughts: Over all a great looking case for those of us who don't want shiny lights and annoying plastic all over. Looks good in the study off my family room and doesn't have to be hidden in a "guy room." For the price would have like to see a few more features but that might also be me wanting to stretch my dollars. Would definitely use for a second build.

4 out of 5 eggsWorth the $$$

Pros: Attractive. Passive four bay SATA backplane.

Cons: Not as solid as my old Lian-Li case. For the money a removable and more sturdy mainboard tray should be in this case. Mainboard tray flexes as you push in memory.
It feels like a $150 case, not a $200 case.

Other Thoughts: My initial impression was 'I paid this much for this?'
I would still recommend the case, but maybe wait for it to drop $40.
For where my case sits in my desk the top flush mount usb ports are not the easiest to get to. It would be nice if they were slightly angled.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolute attention to detail......

Pros: There isn't a square inch of this case that has not been well thought out. From the all thumb screw, brushed aluminum exterior to the cut-outs in the motherboard tray, everything has been meticulously thought out. The only case with a built in drive cage. THE ROLLS ROYCE OF CASES.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Expensive yes, but worth every nickel.

4 out of 5 eggsSimple, Sturdy, but lacks Features

Pros: * There is ample space for the largest of video cards and CPU fans, allowing easy installation and good airflow

* The power supply is installed at the bottom so heat can rise and get sucked out via the rear chassis fan

* Reputable manufacturer has once again provided a sturdily constructed aluminum case with proper venting, dampening, and fan sizes for a quiet case with great airflow

* Having the "front" ports (USB, Firewire, eSATA, audio) as well as the power and reset buttons on the top of the case is really convenient when the box sits on the floor

Cons: * No removable motherboard tray

* No rubber dampeners for the hard drives like in some of their other cases

* Price seems high compared to similar earlier models ($200 at the time of this writing)

Other Thoughts: Overall a very good case for any build, though for the price I would expect to have some of the more common Lian Li features mentioned in the Cons.
