5 out of 5 eggsThe Best

Pros: For heat control, aluminum is the only choice for me, This has it.
Nice layout. It's easy to work inside of. Lots of room.
Side panels easy to remove and replace.

Cons: None really, I have 3 of these. I had a switch go out on one after a few yrs. But it was easy to replace. Was just from usage, not a bad part.

Other Thoughts: The only case I look at when doing a new build.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Basic Case

Pros: The build quality is fantastic, with well machined parts that fit snugly together (no rattles!), and have no sharp edges. The drive bays are very well designed, and keep the HDDs silent. No quality control issues and no skimping on the parts.

Cons: Airflow is decent, but it's not designed to house a high end gaming machine that is overclocked and has more than one GPU.

Had to add my own filters to keep dust out.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Good airflow. Quiet fans. Nice HDD trays. Made of aluminum (giant heatsink). No sharp edges. Motherboard tray is not removable but nicely labeled.

Cons: Seems very light and thin. The quality/durability is not as good as my old aluminum cooler master ATCS. I have used Lian Li cases before though and you really can't go wrong with Lian Li.

Other Thoughts: Would buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsBig, Bigger, WATCH OUT

Pros: I do like the case, Very spacious with plentr of room for lengthy CABLES. The Aluminum keeps very cool, no sharp edges or corners makes installation very easy. Lian Li quality. Fans are OK, but may need replacing with faster fans.

Cons: My only gripes are the size of the case (my fault) the side panels are a bit thin, actually they are almost paper thin. Not really a con in terms of quality. When working you just have to be careful. If you bang your case around a lot, than don't buy. Make sure your computer desk/station has enough room because length will be a minor problem.

Other Thoughts: Overall I think the case is very good for the price. Lots of room, if you have a Corsair 750 tx and worried about cables all over the place this case can handle it. After building I realized why they made the case light. The Aluminum sides, especially the motherboard side keeps very cool.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Lack of top vent to spill a drink into. No akward switches or panels up top either (matter of taste over other models). The new ventilated bezels look great. Globes for the LEDs are much more subtle and better located than previous midtowers, and the LED's themselves are very easy to access and replace if you don't like the color or brightness (they are blue for power and red for hdd, bright but the smaller globes mute this quite a bit). 120mm front and rear fans mounts. Stock fans are about 1000 RPM and very quiet, with 3 pin headers and included molex adapters.

Speaker is just a little free-floating dongle thing included with the hardware instead of mounted to the case somewhere. I've actually never seen that before and it's pretty cool. Makes it easier to change or re-use, and frees up some room around the hdd cage or front fan area for modding.

Cons: 3 pin power switch header, with the middle pin unused. This is becoming a less and less common pinout on motherboards. I just moved the appropriate lead over and clipped the excess off with dykes. Double check your motherboard's front panel pinout first obviously.

Other Thoughts: In response to some of the other reviews:

The even numbered 5.25" bays have guides, just not the odd ones for compatability with 2x bay adapters, including Lian-Li's own models.

"Super light construction allows this case to have close to zero vibrations." - absolutely wrong. The amplitude is going to be higher the lighter the material. Having said that, vibrations in this case are acceptable. Not sure why they didn't offset the HDD cage with washers though, after going through all that trouble to decouple the trays from the cage. Thankfully it's mounted to the bottom of the case with screws and not rivets though, so it would be trivial to slip some washers in and/or change the orientation (there are already pre-drilled holes for mounting the cage so that the drives face forward).

5 out of 5 eggsI should've expected it...

Pros: Super light construction allows this case to have close to zero vibrations. Excellent construction, but didn't expect anything less than coming from Lian Li. I knew exactly what I wanted when I ordered (the three 3.5" drive bays in particular), and totally satisfied.

Cons: Some people may not care for the standard fans that are mounted near the hard drives and the CPU heatsink (exhaust); I'm sure I'll change them down the road, but they're doing just fine.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking for a case around this price point, I'm sure there are others that will look more efficient and better value, but I doubt there are. I have yet to be disappointed by a Lian Li case. They receive such high recognition for a reason.

4 out of 5 eggsElegant

Pros: Beautiful brushed aluminum. Easy access to hard drives and PSU. Metal motherboard mounts (rather than the stupid plastic things you see everywhere). Anti-vibration pads for hard drives and case fans

Cons: Non-standard thumbscrew threads. 5.25" bays lack guides. Anti-vibration consideration to the PSU mount would have been nice

Other Thoughts: They must have had interns working on the 5.25" bays as their thoughtlessness contradicts the rest of the case's craftsmanship.

5 out of 5 eggssleek looking, pretical and the best value of all Lian-Li case

Pros: the HD rack opens to side panel, it is easy to install and access. Removable HD tray is fun and stable carries HD. It is as easy as open box and close box. behind 120mm fan is designed for 3 HD rack. it gives better air flow then 4 HD in case you do not need as much as 4. Easy access fan, if you need to change fan.
It is also neat, all 5.25 bay comes dust filter.

Cons: compare with all the aluminum or hybrid cases, it is the best price and the best value, to buy
