5 out of 5 eggsA70F

Pros: Light, aluminum, tool-less.

Cons: Easy to scratch,
MB plate non removable (while in manual it showed to be removable),
hard to reach Reset button (while fool-proof though),
top usb/audio-out plate is easy accesable but looks ugly with permanently opened door, attracts dust,
supplied top usb plate is usb2.0 only. On Lian-Li site you can purchase 4- or 2-port plate with USB3.0 sockets, but its expensive and requiers 20-pin mobo pins to be available. I've got the older mobo (asus), so 20-pin is not an option for me. I was forced to buy Silver Stone 3.5" 2-port USB3.0 front plate ($20) to get those ports.

Other Thoughts: Overall great case with plenty room.

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding case!

Pros: This case is BIG. Logically thought out, like other Lian Li cases I've dealt with in the past. Light but still well-made. Generous fannage. Did I mention this case is BIG? If you get tired while assembling your PC you could practically crawl inside and take a nap.

Cons: The RESET button almost requires a pen to depress it adequately, though my pinky seems to work. I like my RESET buttons more accessible.

Other Thoughts: The front-side ports are on the top, under a small door- not wise to use the case top as a coffee table, etc... this isn't really a con in my opinion but it's just different, something to be aware of.

Oh, one more thing- this case is BIG!

And many thanks to Newegg for their most excellent shipping!

4 out of 5 eggsonly 1 problem

Pros: lian li cases are high quality & one the few worth thier cost.

Cons: the placement of the usb ports must be a afterthought with l-li there hard to get to and not spaced rite they need a redesign.

Other Thoughts: crafsmanship is secound to none as far as everything else.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case!!

Pros: It looks sexy, the fans are relatively quiet even on full. My first build, and the hardware was pretty easy to install, except for the GPUs. I like the anti-vibration HDD mounts.

Cons: Most cases the GPUs are one of the easiest things to install. Expect a very tight fit for a large GPU, not because of spacing because there is plenty of space, but because the clamp mounts get in the way, but it WILL fit, because I fit x2 Radeon 6970s in it so I can't really knock off an egg for that.

Other Thoughts: I would have removed those stupid clamp mounts and just put a screw in to hold it, but they were riveted in and I didn't want to risk damaging the case with a dremel tool.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Server Tower Case

Pros: This is my first Lian Li and I have to say that, for the price, I am very impressed with this case. The aluminum is amazingly light for a case this size. It holds tons of hard drives. The hard drive bays are not entirely "tool-less" but are very easy to work with nonetheless. The included fans run very quietly and provide decent airflow and cooling.

The included screws and cable management accessories are also very nice, as is the overall layout of the case.

Cons: Only two minor problems. One, the brushed aluminum finish is pretty delicate. I barely brushed against it with something and made a significant scratch, in spite of being very carefull. Secondly, I had to make a slight modification to fit a 4-in-3 drive cage in it. To add stability, the 5 1/4" drive bay area has an aluminum plate dividing the two sections. Oddly enough it is attached by two screws that are essntially inaccessible. I ultimately had to take metal shears and cut the plate in half, then use needlenose pliers to bend the tabs and get the screws loose. Once the plate was removed, the drive cage fit perfectly, although the "tool-less" hold down pins were of no use and the cage had to be attached with screws. However, that was expected and added better stability as well.

Other Thoughts: In spite of requiring a minor modification this case was a total pleasure to work with and I highly recommend it.

5 out of 5 eggsLian Li PC-A70F

Pros: Very light weight well made Aluminum case. I am modifying for my first water build. I love the look and perfomance of Aluminum for a computer case. Lots of add on's for Lian Li cases available, so east to custimize. Price is good as well.

Cons: The inside is not black, so I have to have it powder coated. The Aluminum is not as think as my Zalman case, but it will be adaquate.

Other Thoughts: Perfect for what I wanted, except the black interior.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This tower is massive, making it great for holding all the parts one could want including large video cards and workstation (E-ATX) mother boards. The aluminum keeps it nice and light weight as well as helps disperse heat during long gaming sessions or long rendering sessions. Filtered intake fans help keep the dust to a minimum especially for those of us in dry states. The case has enough hard drive spaces that it would be near impossible to max it out without using a raid card.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: While the price is a little higher than other cases this is a case that I will likely use for many years to come, and many more builds/upgrades.

5 out of 5 eggsLian Li the only way to case!

Pros: I own many cases, and out of all brands there really are only two choices for main stream cases sold on big corp. sites! his brand is certainly one of them!!!! I own this model as well as it's older bother the PC-A70B and can tell you that it will be a purchase that you will never regret. I have many cases as I pointed out and all the Lian Li's are still able to find them self's homes. I could sell them at a little loss as they hold there value, but they all have systems in them each looking just as good if not better than the day it was unboxed. This model you are looking at is great for Air or Water cooling a ungodly amount of room, good cable management and of coarse you own a top brand case!

Cons: There really is none to speak of, I don't like the tool-less stuff myself. I am a case modder and overclocker! I use this type of case for finished product not switching parts out so no need for them IMHO!

Other Thoughts: If you are looking at the Water cooling compatibility, (I don't mean the H50 and or the like BTW) I would highly say get this over the 800D or any of those main stream cases you see everyone width. I don't mean anything bad by them but they are not true modder cases they are designed for the beginner, so if you are not planing to go all out with you case (look up million-dollar-pc dot com) that is all out! Then stick width the 800's and the like as they are better for just plug'n'play. One other thing this case is extremely well made and strong and only weighs about 1/3rd of all the HAF's or Corsair cases trust me it matters. Plus Rodney loves it cause the mother board tray IS removable, he was eyes wide open during his review lol, and bet you he cut the end many times because he was so used to saying NOT LOL

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case esp for price

Pros: Very sleek design. Some cases have a ton of design elements, but as they are plastic end up looking cheap. The brushed metal and simple design really make it look classy. You have got to see it in person it looks alot better than the pictures.

As for the insides, their are alot of sound dampening features which have turned my wind turbine of a pc into a purring kitten. Between the vibration dampening and the low db fans it is very quiet, but is still keeping quite cool.

The hard drive cage in the upper back is designed very well, as well as the tool-less spring clips for cards and optical drives.

My favorite feature is all the holes cut out for you to run cables back behind the motherboard tray keeping them out of sight and increasing airflow.

Replaced a Haf 932 with this case and I am very very happy.

Also, it is very light. For somebody that goes to LAN parties this was an unexpected plus.

Cons: The case arrived with a large dent, since this is alluminum I'm afraid to try and hammer it out.

Not a big enough issue to return the case, but kind of annoying that every case I ever receive ships in the same size box, and always with a dent. I don't understand why they don't pack them differently to prevent this, or maybe they are just treated very roughly who knows.

Other Thoughts: other than a dent on the side panel, very pleased with this case. Buying another one soon.

5 out of 5 eggsSWEET Case

Pros: This is one sweet case, it is HUGE. I purchased this yesterday morning and received it today. Now that's what I call fast delivery. Even though the box had a couple of itself had a couple of indentations in it the case itself does not have any dings, dents or other problems with it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: My build it gonna be as follows:

This case

Intel I5 2500K
CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB
EVGA 02G-P3-1386-KR GeForce GTX 460 (Fermi) 2GB 256-bit
Western Digital VelociRaptor WD4500HLHX 450GB
Lite On Blur Ray Burner.
