5 out of 5 eggsYou What You Pay For!

Pros: dust filters
black inside
nice big window
sexy brushed aluminum outside
cool blue ring
tool-less everything
PCIe locking mechanism supports the heaviest of cards
5 case fans(3 of which are LED) move decent amount of air and range in loudness from near silent whoosh to a high-powered whoosh. It's nowhere close to how loud my gtx 480 gets.

Cons: Assembly went as smooth as possible EXCEPT that I ended up having to unmount the mobo and have my friend hold it an inch to the right of where it was(because I left it wired so it wouldn't move very far) while I installed the graphics card. I had to do this because my gpu is rather large and the tool-less PCIe locking mechanism was blocking the backplate from fitting into place. So if you have a Large gpu, Install it before you mount your mobo!!!

Also, note that the case is rather open(with the top back and front vents), so lots of opportunity for noise to get out. If you have a loud video card, expect to hear it extra well with this case.

Case is also large for a mid-tower. Cable management is decent enough, had to apply force to get the back panel on. But once it's on there's no bulge.

Other Thoughts: I got this case from another vendor because newegg was out of stock at the time. I was suprised to see that when it came back into stock, it was 20$ more with shipping than I payed. Got mine for 198$ shipped. Newegg usually can't be beat.

This case is stupid expensive. But you get what you pay for. This case is quality high end and looks "cool" without looking goofy (like HAF cases). It is easily the nicest case I've ever worked with, let alone seen in person. If the price has you unsure, I can assure you that if you decide to drop the$$$, you will not be disappointed with this product.

I'll be checking Lian Li's out first next time I'm in the market for a case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: Sturdy Aluminum construction. Superb quality build. Great air flow. Plenty of room for large video cards. Over all this is as good a case as you could buy for a gaming rig. Also easy to mod for liquid cooling.

Cons: The cable management while adequate could be better. No USB 3.0 header. I also noticed a low level vibration in the front panel which cleared up after reseating the fan but it was a small annoyance none the less.

Other Thoughts: This is a great case for a gamer who wants to build a high end rig. You won't be disappointed. I have owned it for over a year and could not have been happier with my choice. It looks like a case made with the mature gamer in mind someone who wants to have a professional looking rig while still being able to show it off a little. Having done custom builds w/ Corsair 800D I can say that this case is every bit as good and in some respects better. I would recommend this case all day long.

5 out of 5 eggsLove It

Pros: Five case fans, six including the cpu fan, are quiet enough. Ran all the case fans directly from the psu and they are still silent. There is room for cable management behind the motherboard. Hard drives stay cool next to 2 120mm case fans. The pci cards are held firmly in place by the tooless case clamps. 10.5 inch video card fits well and stays level. The psu takes air from the bottom of the case and blows it out the back. It is a very cool case.

Cons: The psu is on the bottom, so the motherboard 8pin connector barely reaches the top of the board. It wraps around, close to the ram, and cannot be hidden.

Other Thoughts: Asus p5q pro turbo
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 @ 3.4Ghz
Zalman CNSP10X Flex w/120mm fan
SeaSonic X750 Gold
Evga GTX470
Corsair Dominator 8GB 800Mhz
Asus Xonar DG 5.1

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: I upgraded from a good cooler master aluminum case because it was older and only had 1 120mm fan and 3 80mm. It was great but wanted better case cooling. This case has awesome cooling and it dropped the idle tempature by a few Celcius but it really did great when running under heavy load because of airflow. I have a EVGA cpu cooler on a 2600k and carefully cut a 120mm vent hole with a good wire filter in the side panel above the cooler. That made a huge difference and the case still has positive flow.

Quality is great and very clean and nice looking. Everything was designed and laid out well. This is a tool free case however I did mount the CPU and some other things with screws.

I have built a lot of mid to highend systems and this is the best case I have work with.

All the fans and drives etc mount using rummer grommets for isolation.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: You get what you pay for but bought it at a good sale price.

5 out of 5 eggsSuper Clean

Pros: Great quality a good tooless design. The only screwing I did was mounting the motherboard and thats it. I was able to put a ASUS GTX 580 in this with no problems. You just have to get the angle right.

Cons: Mine came in and the window panel was all scratched up from shipping from the parts inside the case. I contacted Lian li on thier website and gave them my sales info from Newegg and told them of the problem. In 3 weeks I had a new side window mailed to me at no charge from them. Great follow through Lian Li.

Other Thoughts: This thing is smooth and the brushed alumium looks super clean.

4 out of 5 eggsvery nice case

Pros: looks beautiful, good wire management (in exposed area), decently quiet considering the number of fans. easily updated to usb 3.0. front blue ring looks decent... at least in my opinon

Cons: tool-less design not all it's cracked up to be. It hindered the install my DVD drive as well as my graphics card. the latch locks needed to be completely removed to get the graphics card in. complete assembly of my PC still required removing more than a couple screws. could have included more thumb screws

Other Thoughts: Your machine has to look good as well as perform. this case looks the part. Lots of add ons available. I don't consider the price a con but some will. Now days, what's a couple hundred bucks for a case that looks this good?

3 out of 5 eggsGood, But Pricey

Pros: Sides are very nice brushed aluminum. Toolless design very easy to assemble. Fans are super-quiet. CPU/GPU stay much cooler because of the Aluminum design and improved airflow. I swapped my Antec full tower for this, and am impressed by the fact that this case is 40% lighter and smaller, yet holds my 2 CD Rom drives, Geforce 570 (better than my antec), and 6 hard drives just as easily.

Cons: I received $80 off when I purchased this...price still stung. Does not come with 2.5" adaptors. Tooless design was not exactly a time saver. Parts of the front and top are still plastic. I don't think it hurts heat disbursement, but I felt I got less value. Tight squeeze on the hard drives if you have anything but 90 degree SATA cable ends.

Other Thoughts: The blue light can be a little annoying. I would have liked to have seen more indicators than a single HDD light. Overall, i was looking for something that was a little bit less of a beast than my antec tower, but without losing much functionality. This was a great compromise.

5 out of 5 eggsWell balanced

Pros: ~The ONLY case that has everything I wanted: all aluminum construction – light weight & cooling factor, side window to see the pricy parts, bottom mount PSU, and lowest price for mentioned features.
~Other goodies: Easily removable top and front panel for fan replacement. Cool blue LEDs for front and back fan, but not the top – no big deal. Roomy enough to hide the cables / cable management, but not too big that leaves much empty space. Quality construction – no sharp edges that will cut. Very light and quiet.
~Bonus stuff I didn’t realize before purchase: the Power & Reset button act as indicator lights, blue for power and red for HDD activity – clever design.

Cons: -Price dropped twenty bucks after purchase
-Minor scratch INSIDE the clear panel; possibly from parts moving inside during transportation.
-no USB3
-top ports are flat and uncovered – dust trap.

Other Thoughts: I used to like another brand of cases. They were well designed and cheaper, but they don't make them in aluminum. So I decided to spend more and got this Lian Li case. It looks cool, has lots of features, and at a good value. I really like that “clean” front look with that cool blue “halo.” The side panel (w/cable hiding holes) and added LED spotlights gives a nice showing of the internal parts - for my gamer side.
Intel i7 - 950
Asus X58 Sabertooth
Gskill 128gb SSD and 2x4gb Ripjaws RAMs
Sapphire ATI 5870
Creative X-Fi Titanium HD Sound card
Corsair H50 watercool
Cooler Master PSU Silent Pro Gold 800W
+ 2 - 7200RPM SATA HDD & Samsung 8x BD – ROM
all running ~280 watts

5 out of 5 eggsBeautiful

Pros: Gorgeous inside and out. Easy to work with. Great tool-less installation.Good cable management. Good airflow. Fan filters in all the right places and easy to access. Love the discrete blue lighting. Hard drives CAN be installed with cables facing away from the window.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Kudos to Newegg for fast shipping

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case with some flaws.

Pros: Plenty of room to work in. Hard drive bays are the best design I have seen keeps them nice and tight. Card holder is a nice feature had doubts but works well. No more removing screws to get to the front filters like my old Lian Li case. Just the right amount of light from the fans. Very Very Quite!!!

Cons: Where to start. Quality is not the same as there older models. No removable motherboard tray ( I knew there wasn't going in). 5 inch drive bay holders do not work but they are removable worst I have seen. No extra motherboard thumb screws. Overall for the money these things should have been included and better designed 5 inch bays. Your going to need fan adapters and a splinter.

Other Thoughts: Still a great looking case but for its price range it should be better. Lian Li's design team needs to go back to the drawing board on a few things. It's not nick picking on my part they used to make the best cases around. This could have been a 5 egg case. Overall I'm happy with it's look.
