2 out of 5 eggsFirst time disappointed by a Lian-Li product

Pros: Nice looking
At least the outside looks like a typical Lian-li product
The modified flexATX PSU is a nice move for mini-ITX cases

Cons: Poor quality control
Terrible internal design
Except for the black version, a slim ODD would ruin the look of the case

Other Thoughts: The case I received has a poorly made front I/O bracket, when a USB or audio cable is plugged in, the plastic part of the bracket will be pushed into the case while the mounting metal parts remain in place. The 8cm side fan also starts to make a clicking sound just after 1 day of use. Being a user of almost 10 lian-li cases, I am very surprised to see these.

6.5L in volume, but still very hard to work with. When there are mATX case which is only 10L and can host 4 expansion cards, 2* 3.5inch HDD and 1 standard 5.25 ODD, I have to say the design of this case is very disappointing.

I am pretty sure the designers never really tested the case. Like other people mentioned, the SATA power cable does not reach the HDD. Actually, trying to plug in a SATA data cable into the HDD is sooooo hard since there is little space between the rear of the HDD and the side of the case. What a design.

Nice to have a slim ODD bay, except there are no red odd existing in this universe.

4 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: Nice build quality and design
Comes with PSU

Cons: the cables coming out of the power supply are too short to reach all the way to the optical drive and hard drive, but an extender is included ~ I also used an additional one I had purchased and everything worked fine.

Kind of expensive

Other Thoughts: When the case is surrounded by white walls in bright light it will look more pink than red (due to the way it reflects light).

My motherboard fit in without issue, the mounting holes all matched up.

Recommended!

4 out of 5 eggsPositive experience with Asrock H67M-ITX

Pros: Everything fits properly (Asrock board, Samsung slim CD/DVD burner). Elegant dual-sided layout leads to good cable routing, and there are minimal cables. However the 4-pin Molex would not reach the slim CD/DVD burner, so I ordered a Rosewill 8" Power Splitter Multi-Color Cable Model RCW-300, solving the problem. Comes with the required LP4 power/slim SATA adapter, so the StarTech SLSATAF20 20in Slimline SATA Female to SATA with LP4 Power Cable Adapter I ordered was not necessary

Cons: FSP Group 150 W Flex ATX P/S is 68% efficient. 80% is really needed to reduce the heat output. Requires a fairly loud 40mm fan to cool. Considering replacing with a more efficient Flex ATX, if I can find one.

Other Thoughts: Cooling can be improved by attaching the lid so the holes are closer to the power supply, away from the case fan. I used a 35W Sandy Bridge processor which is extremely fast and helps with cooling, compared to the standard 65W or 90W processors.

3 out of 5 eggsMy build experience with Zotac A-U

Pros: The case looks fabulous.

Cons: Like the other reviewer stated, no cables provided with the case were sufficiently long to reach the drives.

The alignment of the dvd drive bay was very slightly off, causing the drive to hang up when closing. It is very annoying.

The motherboard mounting studs were aligned incorrectly, making it impossible to use the IO shield. Everything is shifted quite a bit to the right when viewing the IO ports.

Other Thoughts: I made the mods necessary to use the case/mobo, including mounting a Gentle Typhoon 120mm fan directly above the cpu. If I had known beforehand how much modding was required, I never would have bought this case. This is the first time in many years (and many cases) that Lian Li has let me down.

3 out of 5 eggsJust a little short.

Pros: Building a bunch of sandybridge mini itx, looks good and compact, has everything I need.

Cons: The power supply cord is just a few inches too short, need to buy an extension cable for it to work. Need to use ide-to-sata splitter in order to reach hdd. Its impossible to connect anything directly from the power supply.

Generally all the cables are too bit too short.
