5 out of 5 eggsNice case-Smallish

Pros: Aluminum - light. Can fit full size power supplies+++. Lots of room for disk drives. Space for 2 external drives. Comes with 3 X 120mm fans installed.
Well made.

Cons: Thought I could get a Cool Master Seidon 120M in the box. Fail. The only place to install a 120mm fan is in the top and there is not enough clearance between the fan and the radiator and the microATX motherboard - MSI-A88XM-E45 .

Other Thoughts: I think I am going to like the smaller size and light weight as I live with this build.

3 out of 5 eggstop disfigured

Pros: Lian Li's cases are my favorite for every type of build I do especially smaller builds, even for gaming.

Great overall quality except for one flaw, see cons

Cons: I have moved away from ever using this case again as it seems every single one I've received (over the span of a year) have bent corners on top.

The flat piece on top of the case has no support on the sides if there is ANY impact it seems to lift the edges like little wings about an inch on either side of the top, it lifts the aluminum up.

You'll notice in the picture it'll look different than what you receive due to this defect. I've had 8 with this defect. I attribute nobody else reporting it as an issue because it is fairly subtle and may be mistaken as part of the design.

Other Thoughts: this is the only case that has a real issue from lian li, other than them not giving full disclosure as to the PSU sizing in the itx cases.

5 out of 5 eggsBest case I ever owned

Pros: This case is small and light. Witch is why I bought it, but more than that it is also very exesable. just unscrew four screw and boom you can take the, top off booth side the back the side mounted HardDrive slots everything that was hard to get too had an easy way around. Also to make it simpler most screws are thumb screws witch means less tolls :). Sic case.

Cons: I did have to remove one of the side mounted HardDrive bays to fit my GTX 660 Video card, and the ATX motherboard I purchased is a really tight when applying the screws. But all in all a good case and I purchased it because it is small so cant complain to much about a tight squeeze.

Other Thoughts: All cases should have top mounted USB and power buttons. Also this cause douse come with one USB 3.0 built in regardless of motherboard purchased. :)

5 out of 5 eggsanother awesome case

Pros: well build, beautiful finish
3 fans, and vents for PS air intake
supports full sized gpu
supports full size ps (i used 550W)
drive bays are reconfigurable
usb 3 support

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: when I started to put the system together I noticed that the drive basy blocked the sata ports on the rear of my mobo.

I found 2 solution to it. The drive bay can be rotated 90 deg, or you could use right angle sata connectors. My mobo even supplied two of these, but I settled on rotating the drive bay because it gave better air flow over the drive.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good case, but old fashion and pricy

Pros: Really like that case, good construction and looks beautiful, as always with Lian Li.
Compact, but big enough to fit high end gaming components.

Cons: -Water cooling may be an issue.
-Rear fan is not 120mm, this is to me the biggest cons for that case, I add to mod it to fit a corsair H60 in the back.
-No USB 3.0 on front panel... kinda old fashion...

4 out of 5 eggsVery good, but not great

Pros: Easily the lightest case I've ever built with. I almost threw it out of the box when taking it out because it's so light.

Anything that can be aluminum is aluminum, even the front panel. It doesn't need to be unscrewed, either, it just pulls out from the front, making cleaning the fan filters very easy.

Front LEDs aren't too bright.

Tons of included screws. Like, dozens. Also came with a speaker, and (curiously) a few zip-ties, which few cases these days do.

All of the hard drive mounts have rubber grommets. You can probably fit 8 3.5" hard drives in this case. There are 3 places to mount 2.5" drives as well. The trays rotate several different ways and can be used in several different combinations, which is also very convenient.

The 3 included fans are quiet but also move a lot of air. My hard drives are all sitting below 30 C. They are all 3 pin and came with molex adapters too, which was nice.

Cons: Because it's so light, I felt like I was going to break it if I put it down too hard.

No cable management. I was able to route a fan cable and the 12V CPU power cable behind the motherboard tray with some extreme persuasion, but that's it. Everything else is in a lump between the power supply and the hard drive bays.

I've never seen such flimsy side panels - probably not much thicker than a soda can. So don't bend them. They also reattach in a weird way: down, in, and then slide. The hard drive cages are similarly thin. I filled the upper cage with four drives and it wobbled quite a bit before I secured it inside the case.

I would like to be able to mount all of the drives parallel to the airflow, but you can only do that with the bottom bay. The top bay won't slide in if it's parallel.

Fingerprints show very easily, especially on the unpainted parts.

Other Thoughts: I ended up paying $40 for this case after a sale, a discount code, and a rebate, which is a steal. Aluminum isn't cheap and this is an excellent case for that price. But for the regular price, explore your options first.

3 out of 5 eggsNot Lian-Li's Best

Pros: Lian-Li aluminum construction is of high quality and light weight. 3 decent 120mm fans. Plenty of HDD space.

Cons: Motherboard standoffs were not tight, one got cross-threaded during assembly. A minor nuisance.

The SATA connections on most MicroATX motherboards connect at a right angle to the board. The hard drive rack (4-bay in the middle) cannot be left in with SATA connections plugged in. Huge negative if you actually want to use all drive bays and your motherboard SATA connections are blocked.

The cables connected to the top power and reset buttons actually protrude into the 5.25" drive bay. I had to bend the wires to get an optical drive to fit, and even then it was a squeeze.

The bottom two plastic snaps that hold the front cover on popped off while reattaching the front cover. They don't snap into the aluminum frame very well.

Other Thoughts: I've been a Lian-Li buyer for many years and bought dozens of their cases. This one was very disappointing. Usually Lian-Li has good foresight in making things accessible and configurable. In this case, the case has some annoying oversights which made assembly of the system a headache. I will hesitate before purchasing another Lian-Li case.

5 out of 5 eggsamazing

Pros: -so far none of the problems that appear to have plagued many other reviewers, such as no english documentation, front audio/mic jacks causing reboot, front bezel not secured well, have been experienced by me.
-sturdy chassis. the walls may be thin, but the case chassis is strong. the aluminum front bezel is solid as well.
-solid tool-less hdd racks, no vibration no added noise. i didn't even attempt to use the tool-less optical drive mounts because of all the complaints, just used screws.
-very nice ventilation, best i've seen for a uATX case.
-very well designed hardware arrangement. i'm mounting the 3 hdd rack on the bottom, so there's plenty of space for my video card.
-includes an adapter from the usb 3.0 to 2.0 onboard port, thought i was going to have to buy one.

Cons: -as others have said, the walls are kind of flimsy, i slightly remedied it with some acoustic dampening foam for a more weighted feel
-included fans aren't the quietest, but i guess you shouldn't expect too much for this price, uATX or not (it was $80 on sale at the time).
-as another review stated, the bottom left clip inside the front cover was misaligned, but it was an easy fix, not a manufacturing mishap, just a slight assembly error.
-my mobo (BIOSTAR A880G+) does not fit exactly with the case's pci slots, the top slot on the case is useless to me so i only have three available slots and can't install my double pci slot fan since the video card already takes two. i'm assuming not all uATX mobos are like this, so only a personal con, but you should look into it and make sure your mobo fits if you'll need all four slots.

Other Thoughts: i was skeptical because of all the bad reviews, but thought what the hell; if something's wrong i can contact or have my cousin in taiwan contact their taiwanese support. i'm assuming the reason their international support is apparently so horrible is that their PR department is probably nonexistent, so no decent english speakers. have you seen the grammar on their international site? i lucked out i guess, first uATX build in about 5 years and i'm very pleased.

5 out of 5 eggsSimple & Functional

Pros: - Polished aluminum finish. Simple, but great. Less is more.
- For a MATX case, you definitely have room in there, I currently have a 7970 running. It required cable management to fit everything comfortably in there, but it fits fine.
- Offers some really nice customization options as far as equipment mounting goes for a case this size.
- Good airflow (my 8350 is idling at around 13 degrees with the stock cooler).
- Topside USB 3.0

Cons: - Definitely not the easiest build I have done. Make sure the hard drive cages are mounted correctly in the direction you want or you may find you have to unscrew them and turn them around or something else.
- Definitely need a screw-driver. This case is not tool-less.
- Some thumb screws are tightly placed and are in awkward places for a conventional screwdriver to access.
- The HDD activity light is pink (minor gripe, but would have preferred red)
- Polished aluminum finish while very sleek looking, scratches easily

Other Thoughts: In a market saturated with cases that have all sorts of buttons, colors, lights, etc, it is refreshing to have something that looks great but is also simple. I have wanted to go with Lian-Li for previous builds, but was scared as I was not familiar with the brand. I am very happy with this case and would definitely go with them again in the future.
