5 out of 5 eggsfantastic case

Pros: very well built, no sharp, tool less drive bays (not using funny rails that only work in XXX case)
Aluminium is very nice and the drive bay blanks are the same material and not cheap plastic.
builders screws everywhere

Cons: the instructions suck pretty bad but with an ounce of experience and common sense they are not really needed because the case is that well built!
would i recommend this...HELL YEAH!

5 out of 5 eggsSquish your high end gear into a near micro-atx case!

Pros: - Short
- Light
- Still manages to fit a full ATX motherboard and GPU inside
- Brushed aluminum is nice looking

Cons: - As others have said, case sides are a bit flimsy
- PSU is a tight fit

Other Thoughts: I had an old Coolermaster behemoth but moved all of my 3.5" data drives into a NAS at the end of last year. Wanting to free the rest of my components from the cruft of dead weight, I looked for something smaller that could still hold my ATX motherboard. Alright so this was about the only solution, but its a nice one! My system now weights less than half of what it used to and is actually LAN-party-able if need be.

2 out of 5 eggsJunk

Pros: -Looks decent enough...
-They give you a lot of hardware

Cons: junk quality aluminum, super thin
Front plate is loose, screws fell out
Fans make noise because cables inside them hit the blades due to bad internal wiring

Other Thoughts: Do not be fooled into getting these junk aluminum cases.... they are not heavy and sleek like Apple - Just go with Coolermaster.

5 out of 5 eggsNice elegant case

Pros: - got it on sale
- easy installation
- great airflow as is. Not sure what folks are complaining about and I suppose it really depends if you have high heat components. I'm using this in a budget build and I'm impressed with the airflow using the two installed fans.
- I love the satin finish of the case. no high gloss, it's just right and very elegant.
- the LEDs on the front are not very bright which I LIKE A LOT.
- Very easy build. I've built a half dozen PCs and this was a nice build probably the easiest to date.

Cons: - the only thing I would do better would be the SSD bracket install. I'm using a Samsung SSD that came with a bracket and getting the holes to line up in the 3.5" bay took some time.

Other Thoughts: Really pleased with this case. It has great airflow with low noise fans. Very easy build. I'm using a micro ATX mobo but the fact that it can take a regular ATX is a great upgrade option down the road.

5 out of 5 eggsNice smaller case

Pros: Nice finish, good room for expansion, front USB 3.0 port, decent amount of interior room.

Cons: No removeable mobo plate, questionable airflow design.

Other Thoughts: While I've long tinkered with PC's this was my first complete build and it started with this case. I needed a case that would fit into the built-in tower area of my desk as it would not fit a full tower design. This case was almost my only choice as it would allow either a Full or Micro ATX mobo and had a bottom mount PSU. After reading mixed reviews about airflow I swapped the fans out and converted it to a standard F to B, while also adding a top fan. While there is no grill for the top I did find a cheap black metal mesh grill on an auction site that matches nicely and looks like it was made for it. There are even a couple custom parts floating around online for this caseif you go looking, and it even came with a parts sheet that showed these.

There is pleanty of room for HD's as you can mount two 2.5" drives flush to the bottom with the included grommets, plus three 3.5" HD in the front of the case...I can't believe you would ever need more unless you were trying to turn this into a mini-server. Still, you could RAID two SSD's with your O/S and still have three drive to RAID your data in this case, and there seemed to be pleanty of hardware included.

I found it easy to work with and did not see any build quality issues. Sides are a bit thin, but it never seemed anything but sturdy as I did the actual build. Even picked it up a couple of times, one-handed, with the side off, and felt no flex in the top. Just remember, it's not steel, it's aluminum, and if you treat it as such there shouldn't be any issues, plus it's lighter then other metal cases.

I don't have a huge vid card, but am running two in crossfire and had no issues installing, nor in discipating heat. In fact, I generally feel nothing but cool air coming from the back of the unit. Definitely something I would buy again if size was a concern, or if I just wanted a solid built classy looking case. It's a nice brushed aluminum with a black treatment overtop. I'm happy with it for the 90 I paid, but at the current price of $20 off, free shipping, plus another $20 rebate you can't go wrong. I'd buy another right now if I had any need for a case at all.

4 out of 5 eggsVery tight for big video cards

Pros: Looks very nice
Aluminum
Should be pretty easy to work in

Cons: Very very tight fit for a Gigabyte GeForce 660 GTX card
Having the PSU in the front doesn't save all that much space

Other Thoughts: I initially liked this case because the front-mounted PSU should theoretically make the case shorter, and overall smaller. What I ended up finding is that placing this case next to an Antec Sonata mid-tower with 3x 5.25" external drives and 4x 3.5" internal drives is that this case is only about an inch shorter and yet an inch longer front to back. Overall it doesn't take up much less space.

I wish they would mount the HDDs left-to-right. I can't even use the lower HDD slot because my video card takes up the space that the SATA and Power connectors would use. I definitely could not run dual video cards in this case.

If this case was MicroATX and you weren't running a big video card it would be perfect, and possibly even shorter.

In the end I wish I had bought a bigger case. That isn't a fault of this case, it's my own mistake, just buyer beware if you have some big cards.

5 out of 5 eggsImproved

Pros: Good cooling design. Easy to assemble components. Looks nice. CPU HSF changes are easy.

Cons: The PSU install concept is not for everyone.

Other Thoughts: This case is greatly improved over the previous version. This may be the reason for some of the negative reviews.

5 out of 5 eggsmeticulous

Pros: Aluminum.
Compact design for a full ATX motherboard.
Extra hole in the top for 140 mm fan.
Very clean finish, low noise.

Cons: The air flow may be odd for a high performance gaming PC.
The air flows from the back to the front.

Other Thoughts: It is better if you us a modular power-supply with this case I think, or the cable may get in the way.
A big video card may not fit on the lower PCIe slot because the power-supply is in the way.

4 out of 5 eggsClosed Case

Pros: This case is up to date in its features and is part of Lian Li's basic, lower end line. Lots of room in the case.

Cons: It is a better deal when it is on sale for $70.00

Other Thoughts: Yes, Lian Li cases tend to be overpriced in general, but they are well-crafted and good looking. This case is not one of the company's better made ones, but neither is it poorly built; it is simply plain-Jane but attractive in its own way nonetheless. Those who complain about thin aluminum and cuts just need to be more careful in how they handle the case when putting together a build. The "tool-less" optical drive bays still benefit from using screws to mount the drives once the drives are positioned correctly with the tool-less mounts.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Light weight, no holes in the front panel and side panel which significantly reduce dusts
All aluminum case, perfect.
Great Lian Li customer service.

Cons: None.

Experienced computer builders know how to handle small problems instead of complaining it everywhere.
Nothing is perfect for everyone

Other Thoughts: Small and compact. Ideal for people who want a different style.
