5 out of 5 eggsGood case with all the space you want.

Pros: This case is HUGE. There's also so much room for activities. Good design, strong, and sturdy.

Cons: The Flux Capacitor seems to be missing. Without that, getting to 88 mph is kinda pointless.

Other Thoughts: Buy this case if you want a nice big case...

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding!

Pros: Superior quality, as is expected. As many have stated, tool free assembly. My ASUS Z77 Sabertooth is literally swimming around in the case with free space. Standoffs were already in place to fit my board. Screw free slot levers are ridiculously nice after the miseries I've suffered through misalignment and broken screw mounts in the past.

Cons: This is my third Lian Li case but the first two were raw silver. This is painted aluminum. Why paint something that looks and functions great without paint? The black screams to be nicked and scratched. In fact, seconds after I pulled the side off and carefully laid it against a chair, it fell and chipped along the upper edge as if it were it's destiny. Stop doing this to perfectly good looking silver aluminum. Black marker to the rescue but seriously, stop it!

Other Thoughts: I would marry this case.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case

Pros: Lots of room, sleek and surprisingly light.

Cons: Cable management isn't amazing but workable. The top flexes a little bit more than I would like when inserting/removing this from the top USB slots.

5 out of 5 eggsDream case

Pros: I drooled over this case for a long time and then finally pulled the trigger. Very, very happy. I installed the optional top with two fans for a total of (5) 120mm fans moving air. The weather is gorgeous. With upgraded fans on their lowest level, the machine is almost silent.

Cons: None, not one complaint. Everything is exactly as I hoped it would be. But sourcing and ordering the correct part for the optional top fans was difficult. It required a few returns with different vendors, and even when I found the right part, it was for the previous version and the usb door areas did not match. I had to get the dremmel out to make it work.

Other Thoughts: Running a 2011 board with a big cooler, bunch of drives, big video cards, the works. It all fits with room to spare, everything is cool and quiet.

4 out of 5 eggsgreat tower with some minor adjustments...

Pros: - price. i got it for $80
- with additional adapters you can fit about 15-17 3.5" HDD
- good quality build
- came with lots of screws and a container
- manual was easy to understand
- includes a cable router for the bottom
- 3x hard drive adapter if you won't use the top PSU mount bay

Cons: - if you want to route your HDD cables from the back, you'll have a problem with the 2nd from the bottom drive tray. there's a bar that runs across that will get in the way and you can't push the drive all the way to the back in place. if you have the shorter (height) drives or SSD with a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter it will fit. i ended up routing the cables the other way and it worked fine.

- i used a 4 in 3 5.25" adapter to fit 4x3.5" drives in a 3x5.25" bay. there was a metal divider that prevented me from installing this so i had to remove it. in order to do this though, i had to remove the whole from panel which was a task onto itself. you'll have to do the same thing if you want to clean the fan filters in the front. which they made it more accessible.
- my gigabyte ga-z68ma-d2h-b3 board didn't align with the screws well. had a little trouble mounting it but it's on there now.

Other Thoughts: the 2 cons i listed made my rating 4/5 eggs. other than that, i love the case. cable routing in the back is a bit tight but the way i have my drives seated i routed the cables in the front. it's my home server with 9 drives and still have plenty of room for more drives.

running it with:
- i3 2100
- 8gb ram
- gigabyte mobo
- 8x2TB seagate ST2000DL003
- 120GB SSD for OS
- adaptec 6805 raid card
- WHS 2011

4 out of 5 eggsHUGE CASE

Pros: 10 HDD bays, plenty of room inside the case, easy to take apart, 99% tool-less. Only needed a screw driver for a few minor things, and some of those were optional.

Came with MB stand offs already in place for my ASUS AMD 890GX. Thumb screws included for the MB are decent. Also has a screw organizer for all the screw they include.

Can be set down on carpet unlike most other bottom mount power supply cases as it doesn't draw air in directly from beneath the power supply and has a vent on the back. I love the power supply tie down bar, works great!

Plus with my build I can convert three of the 5.25 bays to HDDs so I can stuff 13 HDDs in without doing any hard mods to the case.

Included a USB 3.0 20-pin header to USB 2.0 9 pin header adapter since my older board doesn't have a USB 3.0 header. I am going to use a series of adapters/cables to plug in to the back of the MB.

Oh, and the card holder clasp? Is amazing, actually holds the cards in place without any trouble!

Cons: Can't really have all the HDDs pointing back as one bay is partially blocked by a cross member.

Can't properly switch the door to open towards the right (case sits on my right side, opens to the left, gets in they way). If the door had LED extenders in two places, and two lock slots on the front, it would be fine.

Could use more cable managers included, would rather not have buy them. Case would be better if it came with USB 3.0 extenders on the top instead of a MB header plug, that way those of us with older boards can just run the wires out the back of the case to plug into ports on the back of the MB.

Other Thoughts: If you're thinking about building a "small" storage server, this may be a decent case, but if you want anything much bigger, probably better to go with a 20-24 external bay hot swap case unless you catch this one on sale.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: 1: HUGE

2: Very high quality.

3: Space for plenty of hard drives.

4: Tool-less system works well.

5: Solid door, hinge, and latch construction.

6: Two PSU locations.

7: Great accessory kit included.

8: Good airflow design.

9: Pretty stable for something so big, even with the PSU at the top.

10: Easy to drill out for powder coating or paint, and the aluminum is very pure, so nothing bakes out.

11: Does indeed look like the 2001 Monolith, as has been noted.

12: Lends itself to easy modification.

13: Quiet, even with lots of fans installed, if that matters to you.

14: Lian li fans are high quality.

15: Isn't cluttered with proprietary hot-swap bays, fan controls, and things like that. Lian Li lets you install only what you need.

Essentially, it's a giant blank canvas for anyone to explore. If you like the looks, have a million hard drives, or just want a full tower for old time's sake, it's a great purchase.

Cons: 1: While there is plenty of room in the case for tidy cables, there isn't much room behind the motherboard tray. With enough skill, however, you can still keep things very tidy.

2: This is just a personal note, but I'm not the biggest fan of tool-less assembly.

3: It's been said before, but the front filters aren't easy to access.

It's a simple fix, though. Remove them and filter the vents. The cabin air filter from a Land Rover Discovery II works well, but any other mesh or filter media will do. Just have a look round your hardware store.

You can also duct the rear of the front panel to the fan intakes, and use Lian Li filter brackets. The door will hide them.

4: I'd have paid a few more bucks to have the video card support bar from Lian Li's other full-towers, but I understand it's a feature reserved for kajillion-dollar cases.

Other Thoughts: Despite popular belief, you can indeed mount hard drives backwards in the slots and still use the sliding lock.

It's as easy as mounting them normally. I don't know why people can't figure this out.

3 out of 5 eggsCheap USB slots?

Pros: Very easy to remove or add anything to it. I don't even think I used a screw driver with it once. It is very light weight and has more than enough room for what I need.

Cons: One of the top USB slots popped right out after using it a few times. This leads me to believe that they may have skimped on the new USB 3.0 part.

Other Thoughts: The rest of the case is perfect. I contacted the manufacturer today, so if they send me a replacement part then I will upgrade my rating to a 4/5 star review.
