5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: Beautiful case--it was a steal at NE's closeout price of $60.00--wish I had bought an additional one or two--some of Lian Li's new cases are overpriced--this one was not.

Cons: The only trouble I had was the USB 3.0 front panel header cable seems to fit a bit loose (would not seat all the way on motherboard), but this did not appear to affect port operation. As others have observed, you may have to reset the pins on the power LED connector--use a sewing needle to gently push the wire locking device on the back of the connector and snap the wire back in the center slot of the connector (if needed).

5 out of 5 eggsLove this case

Pros: Very nice case. My second Lian Li and this one is almost as good as the first. It's very high quality and should outlast several upgrades.

Cons: Design doesn't give much thought to cable management and I miss the MB tray my previous Lian Li had.

Other Thoughts: Watch out for the hd light connector...Lian Li got it backwards and if you connect it according the the instructions it won't work (though no harm is done). Same thing happened with my first Lian Li.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Buy

Pros: Elegant design with light weight and all aluminum construction. The price here on the Egg was unbeatable. The fit and finish of this case is outstanding and easy to work on or modify. The shipping carton is well designed and the Case arrived with no damage. I still prefer having the power supply on the top. The window looks much better in person then on the web pages.

Cons: For what this Case was on Sale for, I am not sure there can be any cons. Yes, I am adding some fan ports and doing some modification but I am still money ahead.

Other Thoughts: I have purchased a half dozen or so Lian Li cases over the past few years and I am not disappointed. A six year old Case with a little dusting looks brand new, and will never go out of style. Looks like I will continue to buy Lian Li.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: The fit and finish is fantastic, when you remove a part it goes back on perfectly, aluminium is a lot less bothersome to modify than steel! Also this is the first case I have owned that did not take its toll from me in blood [no cut hands] it has cable hold downs and of course comes with all the screws you will need.

Cons: The price but you get what you pay for....

Other Thoughts: Folks spend a lot on computer components - the case holds everything and sets the direction your build will go - simple and fun or bothersome and annoying. It only takes a minute to get fed up dealing with holes not matching up and parts that spring when you remove them and wont go back on, this case has been fun to work with!

4 out of 5 eggsPretty Good

Pros: Sleek looking, very light, I actually like the shiny interior a lot.
-Easy installation
-Cool hard drive bay
-Nice fan filter in the front

Cons: As much as I want to give it 5 stars. There are some little issues that can be easily overlooked.
1. Side window scratched easily. It's some sort of acrylic, and it's already scratched somehow. Probably my fault.

2. Poor ventilation for gaming systems. There are only 2 possible fans for the entire case, Front and back 120mm. There are no top and bottom fan expansion capability. You definitely need to upgrade the existing fans or else your CPU and Video cards WILL get hot.

Other Thoughts: More USB slots and a metal power button would be nice.

5 out of 5 eggsNear Perfect

Pros: Sturdy (for aluminum), light, silent fans, lots of space, versatile fan cables (3pin with 4pin molar adapter with plenty of cable length). Installation was quick and easy, but I've been building my own computers for over a decade now.

Cons: The foil plating over the power supply extends all the way across to the 5.25" drive bays which inconveniences access to modular power cables. But not a big deal since you only touch those cables once in a blue moon.

Other Thoughts: The Power LED cable comes as a 3pin female connector, many motherboards may have only 2 pins, which require you to reposition the green wire to the center pin slot (google it).

Case may be a little more wide than it needs to be.

5 out of 5 eggsPC-8NW (X)

Pros: LIANLI!!!!!!!!!

Plenty of space for whatever needs to be done. I wish this case came in silver not only because I like silver, but because any little scratch on a black aluminum case really stands out--even a little nick. But, it still looks very nice.

The fans that come with it are the typical quality quiet fans with low airflow. If you want more airflow, get new fans, I think it is better they come with quiet low cfm fans as compared to loud high cfm fans.

The back panel inside is black though which is nice for the little area around the motherboard that can be seen. Quality is definitely good but not as great as some other Lian-Li cases (see cons).

The clear side panel is very thick and easy to clean, I love it. It does not have that weird friction some other clear plastic panels have; this is a real solid nice piece of crystal clear plastic.

Everything lines up an connects easily. Nice fan filter.

Cons: Plastic power and reset button? Really? These should be in aluminum like the older cases I have. The plastic is not super black and just stands out quite clearly.

Could have had 2 USB 3.0 in front instead of one (otional item).

Slight alignment issue in the 3.5" section under the drive section. I used a fan controller from other Lian Li cases that lined up well in those but does not do so well in this one for some reason. Lots of space around it.

The silly new HDD cages with the sliding bar are nice but I would rather have one that holds 4 drives considering there is plenty of space for that and those were used in older cases.

Front inlay style is nice but I like a flatter front personally.

The little connectors on the front would have been nicer on the top of the case with a little hiding door but perhaps they were thinking people who put stuff on the case would scratch it? hmmm... Ugly on the front.

Other Thoughts: I love all the accessories you can get for the Lian Li Cases. I got the 3 drive flat front cage for 2 5.25" slots, 2 of the optional drive covers, and the 120mm PCI side fan for inside. All accessories match flawlessly and fit perfectly. The door is very hard to slide but I think the aluminum lips were maybe not bent comepletely right. They still work though. Acessorizing can be expensive but I like that it is possible and the end product is really nice.

The fan filter is not the spongy one like the older cases but one that is more of a screen which I do not think is as effective in terms of slience and dust catching.

This case and some of the new Lian Li accessories just seem to be cutting corners in terms of plastic subsitution and less capacity... (i.e. c-02 covers use way more plastic than the c-01 covers).

I own 3 Lian-Li cases of all sizes, and have lots of accessories for them.

5 out of 5 eggsSleek Case

Pros: Brushed shiny aluminium.
Easy tool-less access
Plenty of room for big video cards
All faces can be detached easily and quickly

Cons: The front can come off sometimes too easily. (If you place your hand on the front when you pick it up)
The reset button can only be pressed by a pen or really small finger.

Other Thoughts: I chose this case to house my new computer build and I am quite pleased with it. Putting everything in was straight forward and easily accessed. The case is lighter than my previous steel case and still bigger. I like the lack of plastic and seemingly "cheap" parts. The case is well built and looks nice.

The features (USB 3.0, side window, 120mm fans, etc...) are nice but I feel they are not a selling point as you can get them on a cheaper case.

I'm a big fan of Lian LI cases. I've spent a little time as a computer tech and Lian Li cases were the easiest to deal with. They don't slice your fingers open as you work in them and things open/slide/move easily.

1 out of 5 eggsWow it only gets worse

Pros: It looks nice

Cons: Well after emailing Lian Li about the problem I had with the USB ports im still waiting for even a hey got your email from them. After a few more days of fussing around with the HDD activity light and the USB ports niether work on 3 different motherboards. Luckily the USB 3.0s on the case wont affect your motherboard but will fry anything you put into it(tried a bunch of free usb flash drives i got). Anyway all in all I would avoid this case and any others from Lian Li, if something goes wrong your on your own.

1 out of 5 eggsCould have been great

Pros: Nice window and I like the way the case is laid out

Cons: Well the HDD indicator stays solid which could be my mistake but the USB ports dont work at all, tried everything i could think of and it just ended up cooking my phone. One of the motherboard screws were stripped and was almost impossible to get in to the case. Would have been great but now im out a phone and 2 usb ports, next time ill pry try a different case. Would RMA but free shipping conviced me to keep it
