5 out of 5 eggsEverything You'll ever need in a case.

Pros: This case has everything going for it; it's got style, excellent build quality, and portability. Those who have a more mature taste in cases will appreciate its craftsmanship and longevity over other plastic and flashy colors or lights. These are a few of my favorite things about this case

-Style; This case oozes style, it really stands out next to other chassis.

-Portability. The handle feels solid, the case has nice plastic corner guards, and the extra GPU support rods give me extra peace of mind while moving the case around.

-Build Quality, this case has an amazing build quality, from the extra corner protection to grommeted screws holding the front case fan on. i've seen other reviews of the cases not having motherboard standoffs and i had no such problem, maybe a quality control issue at one point.

-300mm graphics card support. Honestly, if you have a card over 12" long even most mid to full tower cases will have a tight fit. This also opens up the door to high power mobile gaming / workstation rigs.

-Mini-ITX form factor, with the growing market of APUs and Mini-ITX boards capable of throwing down with full ATX boards, this really opens the door to low cost mid range gaming, especially if Steamos takes off.

-Fan Filters, and two of them. one of the main reasons i chose htis case.

Cons: All the cons i have with this case are negligible, yet noteworthy.

-The brushed aluminum sides, while durable, do scratch and smudge easily. The case will last you if you treat it right.

-The HDD cage can be a double edged sword for some. If your a media junkie, the ability to house 4 3Tb HDD drives and an SSD give this a huge advantage over other small form factor cases. However, if your a gamer like myself the HDD cage blocks the only case fan and prevents the use of a radiator. This is con is negligible in my case *See other thoughts*

-Air flow, however in all cases this side the air flow is going to be restricted and the ability to place an additional fan on the bottom of the case helps greatly.

Other Thoughts: I used this chassis to put together a high power, portable, gaming rig including water cooling. to pull this off it took some forethought and elbow grease.
First i removed the HDD cage and installed a SilverStone 5.25in to slim ODD and 4 2.5" HDD/SSD giving me all the possible space i needed while still matching the brushed aluminum look.
Second i removed the front 140mm fan and installed a 140mm to 120mm fan adapter. this was the difficult part because the screws that go into the front fan were far to long for the adapter. a few drops of super glue worked fine. *although it stuck the rubber grommets to the case and i doubt that i am ever going to get that apart*
lastly i installed a corsair H80i with a push pull configuration, although i had to remove the push because i purchased a slightly longer video card, however i think i can still get the push fan on if i use the GPU support on the card.

I plan on building another rig for my wife using this case, although I'm going to wait for MSI to come out with their Mini-ITX FM2+ gaming board so i can utilize the new A10's

5 out of 5 eggsInteresting build

Pros: This is an excellent little case that fit the goal of building a college and return study and gaming system for my son. The workmanship is amazing, smooth black anodized surfaces with the fit of a sports car. The ability to remove the internal structures for equipment installs and customize the case is excellent. With some patience and planning you can stuff a bunch in this and still have great airflow.

Cons: Due to it's size and power supply placement in relation to CPU ...using a larger air cooler or water cooling for the CPU is very tight or not possible. I settled for factory cooler on AMD A10. Temp is holding below 60 under load. But they run a little hot anyway.

Other Thoughts: I have been looking for this kind of case for a long time so my son can drag it back and forth from college instead of a large format case. He has had it up and running all week during Christmas break and loves it. Loaded with Gigabyte F2A88VN-WIFI,Full size GPU Gigabyte 660GTX, 16 gigs of 1866 Ballistic, 600 watt Corsair, AMD A10-6800K running at 4.1, a Samsung Pro 256 SSD, WD 1T black addition and a Asus BD/CD/DVD burner. ALL fits with room for 3 more drives.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Case

Pros: Beautiful case - outstanding workmanship. One of the best cases I have done a build for. Somewhat cramped inside (my first mini-ATX build), but well thought out.
I bought a single width graphics card, but could have easily used a double wide which seems to be the standard these days.
Easy mounting of the SSD - no additional brackets required.

Cons: Hard drive cage has a built in back plane - neat idea, but not all hard drives will fit in for every slot. Still 2 out of 4 slots were useable like this. The others I use for my SSD, so it really is not an issue.

Other Thoughts: Tempted to use this as my standard case for future builds!

Newegg delivery was great, received it well in advance of Christmas.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Amazing build quality
Extremely light for the solid feel of it

Cons: Needs more spots for 2.5" drives without the drive cage

4 out of 5 eggsSo close... Too big!

Pros: Relatively small, transportable, full-sized P/S. Pretty nice fit/finish.

Cons: FAR larger than necessary. Who needs a full-sized on-board optical drive?!? Roughly HALF the interior space of the box is wasted. Should be re-engineered.

Other Thoughts: I take this on trips. There's so much empty space with this case, even when fully-built, I actually ball-up underwear and t-shirts and STORE THEM INSIDE THE CASE. Makes me nuts that no vendor will build a "smallest possible" mini-itx/full-sized P/S case. Why, WHY W H Y NOT ?!?

5 out of 5 eggsvery awesome

Pros: the hot swap 4 drive backplane is awesome and i don't believe there is anything like it in a mini-itx format.

i bought a power supply bracket to hold the passive psu half way outside the case to give me room for a giant passive heat sink. both are kept cool by the large case fan on the front. genius! and very quiet.

i also bought the optional 4 ssd drive bracket to replace the cd/dvd bay. thus, i can use the 4 hot swap trays for WD 2TB black drives to hold my files and provide backup. note, you gotta have a sata expansion pci card in the mobo slot to add the drives because the mini itx board doesn't have that many onboard sata ports. in total i have 8 drives in the machine.

and keep in mind it easily portable and can pack a huge punch of computing power and storage in a small format.

Cons: nothing. nothing at all.

Other Thoughts: build:
ASUS P8Z77-I Deluxe LGA 1155 Intel Z77
Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 SDRAM
Intel Core i7-3770K Graphics 4000
2 x Corsair Force Series GT 120GB SATA III SSD (raid 0)
SeaSonic Platinum Series 400W ATX12V (fanless)

4 out of 5 eggsNice ... but ...

Pros: great fit and finish ... eminently practical and portable ... most things well thought out in design ... ability to put big gpu and alot of hd's in such a sff

Cons: be very careful with psu selection - even relatively shallow psu's will end up getting real close to the side brace bar of the hd cage - lian li should redesign it ... the hot swap sata board is a little flimsy ... placement of 2.5 hd spaces is awkward ... also, the side panels dont hold on too good if your cables rub up against them - they might pop out on there on ... be careful with cable routing if possible - which is tough given the size of this case and all the stuff i had to put in it

Other Thoughts: if this is ur first itx build you must assemble the system in the perfect order or you will be wasting unnecessary time and knuckle skin putting your rig together ... nevertheless, these are minor quibbles - i love this system and will never build a micro or full atx again ... i would also advise being careful with component selection - since ventilation is limited get low tdp gear - my rig: 4770s cpu; asrock z87itx mb; crucial low profile ddr3l; gtx 760; seasonic 660w platinum; 4 hd's and 1 ssd

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome LAN Case

Pros: This is an awesome case for LAN parties! The finish and quality is superb and the handle makes it a cake to transport. I call mine The Toaster. Would buy again!

Cons: You need to be careful when selecting components to make sure they will fit and not overload the limited selection of PSU that fit in this case.

Other Thoughts: Running an i5, SSD, and GTX 680 with no problems. Some people are concerned with heat due to limited fans, but I have found this case to run the same temperature as my other computers (mid towers). Just be sure to tidy up your cables!

1 out of 5 eggslack of motherboard standoffs!

Pros: beautiful case, lian li all aluminum design

Cons: The lack of motherboard standoffs has caused a delay in my first mini itx build. I have purchased other lian li cases and have never had such an issue, the thing that gets me, is inside the case where the standoffs should be there is an inspected by tag! how do you miss such a blatant missing part?

1 out of 5 eggsNo motherboard mounts

Pros: This beautiful case is supposed to come with its own motherboard mounts.

It deserves five eggs... BUT... see cons

Cons: This beautiful case did not come with its own motherboard mounts.

I was not able to install my motherboard and now my build is delayed.

There are little scratches around the holes where the mounts should be. It looks like someone at the factory couldn't fit the screw mounts into the holes and gave up.

Not what I expected from such a posh case manufacturer. It really is an awesome case though, I will definitely change my rating to 5 stars when this is resolved.

Other Thoughts: Give me a case with mounting screws!
