5 out of 5 eggsAwesome LAN Case

Pros: This is an awesome case for LAN parties! The finish and quality is superb and the handle makes it a cake to transport. I call mine The Toaster. Would buy again!

Cons: You need to be careful when selecting components to make sure they will fit and not overload the limited selection of PSU that fit in this case.

Other Thoughts: Running an i5, SSD, and GTX 680 with no problems. Some people are concerned with heat due to limited fans, but I have found this case to run the same temperature as my other computers (mid towers). Just be sure to tidy up your cables!

1 out of 5 eggslack of motherboard standoffs!

Pros: beautiful case, lian li all aluminum design

Cons: The lack of motherboard standoffs has caused a delay in my first mini itx build. I have purchased other lian li cases and have never had such an issue, the thing that gets me, is inside the case where the standoffs should be there is an inspected by tag! how do you miss such a blatant missing part?

1 out of 5 eggsNo motherboard mounts

Pros: This beautiful case is supposed to come with its own motherboard mounts.

It deserves five eggs... BUT... see cons

Cons: This beautiful case did not come with its own motherboard mounts.

I was not able to install my motherboard and now my build is delayed.

There are little scratches around the holes where the mounts should be. It looks like someone at the factory couldn't fit the screw mounts into the holes and gave up.

Not what I expected from such a posh case manufacturer. It really is an awesome case though, I will definitely change my rating to 5 stars when this is resolved.

Other Thoughts: Give me a case with mounting screws!

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect for Travellers

Pros: My work sends me for extended period of time in different cities/countries, I decided to build a computer that I can carry with me. I passed TSA twice without any problems and the fact I can open side doors easily during security checks was a plus.

It fits perfectly under airplanes seats. I'm quite surprised I haven't scratched it yet too.

I love to be able to carry a decent Gaming PC around, upgrades will cost less than laptops overtime.

Cons: I'd like to have higher feets for bottom ventillation.

Other Thoughts: The build has a good weight, I hope the handle can stand my travels.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing HTPC case

Pros: Case is Sturdy, well designed, handle is amazing. We use it as our HTPC case and it allows us to pick it up and take it with us when we go to grandparents or to a hotel when traveling and the kids always have movies.

Cons: The only con is also one of its strengths. Its compact design made the initial mobo install challenging but after that compact design for use has well out shined that minor annoyance.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this case to anyone. There is a good chance my next gaming machine will be built using this case as it would be a perfect case for going to LAN's.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Portable Monster

Pros: It looks very sharp, front USB 3.0 is awesome, eSATA, 140mm fan is silent and effective, space for full size dual-rail graphics card, easy open side panels, removable PSU bracket, everything uses THUMB SCREWS!

Cons: I was concerned about airflow in the beginning, but I haven't had a single issue with heat in my year of ownership running all the stock fans and heat sinks.

Other Thoughts: My build:
Intel i3
OCZ Vertex SSD (for OS)
Seasonic 500W Fully Modular PSU
Liteon Blu-ray Drive
Western Digital Green 1.5TB HDD (for media)
A full size graphics card is in its future.

5 out of 5 eggsSmall but Effective

Pros: Great little case! It's small but everything fits nicely. Amazed how much they got in such a small case. Fits a full sized ATX power supply, most if not all GPUs, 5 hard drives (although this is probably unnecessary and actually a nuisance), and a 5.25" bay. And it still feels pretty roomy, nothing is literally right up against each other.

Looks great, and the handle is nice for mobility. You could seriously build the most powerful single GPU system you want and it'll fit in here.

Cons: No cable management, but I didn't expect much. You'll have to get creative if you want to use your own zip ties. My mobo has the front panel/USB ports at the top of the board so I routed the cables up through the 5.25" bay and it does a decent job.

The HDD bay shouldn't exist as it does. Takes up way too much space and completely ruins the only airflow the case has. It's the one place they didn't "go small" on this case. I have the Lian Li PC-V354 as well and it was welcome there (holds up to 7 HDD) but they should've avoided it here. I guess if you want a portable RAID/NAS this could be a great case. You could supplement airflow to the CPU by installing a 120mm fan on the bottom and skipping a discrete GPU.

Front fan is mediocre but OK if you remove the HDD bay.

Other Thoughts: Using a Gigabyte GA-Z77N-WIFI board, Seasonic X650 gold. No compatibility issues with either.

Haven't put a full size GPU in yet but I don't foresee any problems.

As others have pointed out I recommend removing the HDD bay if you can for max airflow. If you're really concerned about airflow you can buy a better 140mm fan as well for the front.

Definitely go full modular with your PSU.

Plan out your build before you build it. PSU should go last. If you're using a modular PSU plug in the 24pin/8pin connectors to the mobo first before installing the PSU.

If you plan on getting an aftermarket CPU cooler, a low profile cooler is mandatory. I used the Noctua NH-L9i. See below.

According to Lian Li's website, max compatibility:
VGA Card length: 300mm
PSU length: 140mm
CPU cooler height: 80mm

5 out of 5 eggsPortable Beastmode

Pros: Small, Light, Well Built, Handle, Clean looks

Just what I was looking for in a portable gaming machine. Sweet HD cage which was immediately removed for the liquid cooler. Small but plenty of room for a fullsize monster video card. Awesome brushed aluminum and rounded corners. Typical looks and construction of what you would find from Lian Li.

Cons: Tight space (is this a con?), No cable management, Front fan filter is not easily accessible, Ridiculously tiny bottom feet

Not much room between the mobo/processor and the PSU which leaves your cooling options very limited. Case feet are too small to allow any air to get sucked up under the case for the GPU. Bottom case filter broke on me when I got all Hulk on it because it was stuck and wouldn't pop out :( Not really sure where other people are putting hard drives? Not much space if you still use an optical drive. There is however some empty unused space above the mother board at the top of the case which I might fab a bracket and mount a spinning disk drive in. There is a spot in the bottom of the case and you are provided rubber mounts for putting the SSD in.

Other Thoughts: Need to put some real thought into what the space is your actually working with and adjust your cables appropriately. If you plan on using this for gaming and buy a two slot card, definitely buy taller case feet as recommended in another review. Do yourself a favor and get a modular power supply. Much easier running the power then sliding the PSU in and connecting it at the very end of the build.
