4 out of 5 eggsGood overall but some minor gripes

Pros: Very attractive. Very easy to work with. USB 3.0 front panel. Quiet fans. Nice hard drive mounting system. Includes optical drive bezel. SATA backplane for 4 hot-plug hard drives.

Cons: Minor gripes:
1) Had to remove the top fan to install the optical drive. This could have been avoided if the case was 1/2" longer.
2) Had to return two different PSU's because they were too long. Again, this could have been avoided if the case was 1/2" or 3/4" longer. Make sure to purchase a PSU that is no more than 5.5" long!!!
3) Does not come with a fan controller for the case fans. Has the mounting holes for one (the Lian-Li PT-FN01), but does not include it. Newegg does not sell the PT-FN01, but I found it online for around $8 plus shipping.
4) Front panel USB 3.0 cables terminate in USB A connector instead of motherboard header connector. I purchased an adapter cable (Bitfenix) for motherboard connector which works perfectly.
5) When mounting a 2.5" HDD to the drive cage "shelf", you cannot use the backplane, and it is difficult to plug in the SATA cables from the back of the case, routing underneath the backplane.
6) When a PSU with a 120mm fan is used, the fan would compete with the CPU fan for airflow (they would be blowing away from each other about 1" apart). Therefore, I used a PSU with an 80mm fan in back, but I was hoping to use a fanless PSU (of which I had to return two models because they were too long). If you can find a 5.5" fanless PSU, that would probably be ideal, since the PSU placement has plenty of airflow around it.

Other Thoughts: This is my fourth Lian-Li case over the past 10 years. I think this one is the best looking, but I think they could have put some more thought into the layout and cable management. I recommend purchasing four 12" SATA cables with right angle connectors on one end for the backplane, and a 6" SATA cable for the optical drive. I also recommend purchasing the PT-FN01 fan controller, unless you have a motherboard with two case fan headers. Otherwise you have to plug at least one of them directly into the PSU which doesn't allow you to set the speed.

5 out of 5 eggsHappy camper

Pros: Needed a case for a mini-ITX motherboard. Decided on the ASRock z77E-ITX. Quality aluminum and steel construction. Liked the fact that this case was able to enclose a full size GTX 670 graphics card and full size ATX power supply.

Cons: none so far
