5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Perfect finish inside and out. Very low noise fans.

Cons: Wish there would be more space behind the mobo tray for cable management.

Top optical bay is pretty much useless cuz. the wires from the top mounted usb and buttons. Just use mid bay.

Wish for a fanless side door,

4 out of 5 eggsAwesome case!

Pros: Quiet fans, Dust collectors over fans, Modular case. Sleek design
USB 3.0!
No obnoxious window!

Cons: The rubber covers for the extra screw holes fall out (I've lost almost all of them)
A little larger than my old Lian Li case (A05B)

Other Thoughts: I am not a huge fan of top-mounted USB because my setup has my computer lower than my desk, so i could spill liquids into it. Everyone's setup is different though so not really a deal breaker. All in all, Great Case!

5 out of 5 eggsOutstanding Case

Pros: Enough space for most systems
Superb finish
No sharp edges
Light weight
Lots of locations for fans, if you need them (I don't)
Fan filters
Easy installation / removal of drives
Clean, simple, design ---, no juvenile Darth Vader look
Easy removal of front panel, no wires to front panel

Cons: Wish it had another 1/8 inch or so behind the motherboardt,
for easier routing of overlapping wires

Other Thoughts: In recent years I have purchased five Lian Li cases from Newegg,
all very similar to this.

ASRock Extreme 6 Z87
Samsung Pro 256 GB
NO video card (not a gamer)
Cooler Master EVO, with Noctua fan
Seasonic Platinum power supply
25 Watts wall power when idling showing desktop (per Kill A Watt)

The same day I ordered this case, I ordered another brand case
which the Newegg web page said (erroneously) was aluminum.
It had NO ALUMINUM in it, just steel and plastic.
I am waiting to learn what Newegg will do about his -- I am sure they will be fair.

5 out of 5 eggsClassy mid-tower with great cooling performance!

Pros: +Aluminum. Lots of it.

+Great design with solid cooling. Haswell 4670K averages around 39C (80F ambient room temps) with stock clock settings. Excellent overall build quality!

+Easy to access USB 3.0 ports (with cover) and power/reset buttons on top of case.

+Drive cage is awesome!

+Very few LEDs. Power (blue) and hard drive activity lights (blue/red) are very subtle. Fans are LED-free.

+Enough space for most PSUs, video cards and CPU coolers.

+Insane sale price. Absolutely the best case for the money, when on sale!

Cons: -Cables for power and reset buttons located directly above top-mounted media drive. Requires bending of cables.

-Cutouts for cable management and CPU cooler installation aren't aligned well or too small. It was very difficult to install the rear bracket for my Zalman CPU cooler. 8-pin ATX connector for motherboard barely fit through the adjacent hole and was very hard to route.

Other Thoughts: Current Config: MSI Z87-G45, Core i5-4670K, High Power Astro PT 600W PSU, 8GB RAM, Gigabyte GTX660Ti, Zalman CNPS9900MAX, 1TB WD Black, Intel 520 120GB SSD, Blu-ray Drive

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Full aluminum, great airflow, fits full sized graphics cards, room for 3 extra fans, great brushed aluminum finish, lighter than other cases

Cons: Like people have said, the side panels are flimsier than past Lian Li cases. This doesn't really feel like a huge negative to me though, as the panels still feel sturdy.

The finish is somewhat of a fingerprint magnet. If you want to wipe it off, use a solution of 1 part vinegar 2 parts water; works great.

Cable management could use more space. If they had just made the case 5 mm wider it would have been perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Good Case at a Great Price

Pros: Purchased 3 of these cases when they were on sale for a very good price. The cases were for customer builds. All three customers were very satisfied with their cases.

Cons: I read the user comments and noticed negative comments about the side panels. Yes they do flex more than older Lian Li cases but none of my customers will be taking their pc's to LAN parties or otherwise moving them so it should not be a problem.

I also read the negative comments about problems with cable management. I didn't have any problems routing and securing cables with one exception. The opening at the top right side of the case for an 8 pin power cable is too small once the motherboard is installed. I found it is easier to get the 8 pin power cable through the opening before installing the motherboard. There was no problem routing that cable or any other cable behind the motherboard tray.

There were no extra fan grills for the top panel. I purchased several black ones for less than one dollar each. For one of the builds I installed a custom fan billet on the top panel so it didn't matter.

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a very good case which can accomodate longer video cards and tall tower style cpu coolers.

2 out of 5 eggsGreat for the Office, not for techies.

Pros: Dust filters on all stock fans.
Easy to install ODD bays.
Nice brushed black aluminum.

Cons: No fan grills included to cover fan expansion slots at the top.
You have to remove the front panel to clean dust filters.
Too many different screws.
The hard drive installation is very strange and didn't work with the SSD I got.

Biggest complaint: Cable management. Don't let the slots fool you. The oval shaped slots only allow for cables to be run from the motherboard to the power supply. There's a bar in the back that prevents wires from crossing between the motherboard to the HDD/ODD bays. If you cross any cables along that bar, the side panel won't set right.

Other Thoughts: Built a computer for my mom using this case. I suppose you get what you pay for. I used zip ties to try to keep cords as close to the frame as possible, but it means nothing since that bar on the side prevents SATA cables from being run through the back.

3 out of 5 eggsHum hum hum

Pros: Beautiful looking, great airflow and modifiable. Nice hard and SSD drive cage with rubber grommets for install. Fairly quiet. Cable management is a lot nicer then my old micro atx case.

Cons: The side panels or case is really flimsy (thin). The side panels pop off if i move it with out the back screws in place. Top drive bay is obstructed by usb case wires. Case tends to HUM (like a whirl wind). After investigating, it turns out to be the front two fans. When unplugging, hum goes away. When keeping one plugged in noise is reduced by at least half. I also find that leaving the side panel open reduces the hum. For a complete fix I believe a fan controller would do. but another 20 bucks:/

Other Thoughts: I love quiet computers. This ones humming kinda ruined it for me but I will find out how to fix it. I purchased this case for 80 with the 20 rebate. For 60 bucks this case is beautiful in my opinion and for 50 its even nicer. I just wish the Panels weren't so flimsy and stayed on the sides better.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: -Great design
-Very well built
-Power suppy can be mounted BOTH ways
-Pre-cut for water cooling
-Cutouts for cable management
-Includes fan filters
-All included screws are black
-Includes a whole set of rubber grommets

Cons: -The cables for USB, audio and power have to be routed out the back the 5.25" drive bay. There is no cutout to route it down the side/in the back of the case.

Other Thoughts: I have an older Lian-Li, the PC-G70B, from about 6 years ago that my main desktop sits in. This PC-7HX is going to be used for a server build. This new case is really a step up from older Lian Li cases. Let me walk you through this gorgeous case.

The Everything is black. The scews, the fans, the tool-less clips, the front panel cables -- everything. Thumbscrews are used for anything you'd want thumbscrews for. They've also gone an included enough rubber grommets that you could fill up all your bays and get to use those grommets on everything.

You can fit a very large video card in the case. They purposefully left a big enough gap between the HD cage and the 5.25" bays so that you could do so. If your cards are shorter and don't extend too far past the motherboard (like a 7950) then you should be able to fit multiples in for Crossfire as well.

Let's talk power supply location for a second. Have you ever wanted to put your power supply in a certain way and were saddened to discover the holes for the screws only let you do it one way? Not a problem in this case. You can mount your power supply with the fan on the top or the bottom. It's up to you!

You know the extra holes on top of the case you attach their radiator enclosure to? Want to cover them up? No problem, just use the included rubber fillers. Do you want to use the fan cutouts on top of the case? Great! Just detach the inserts by removing the screws.

Need quick access to those fan filters in the front? The front piece of aluminum comes right off with no fuss. Yes, I said aluminum. When they say the thing is aluminum they mean it.

How about getting all of your cables under control? The motherboard tray has pre-cut spots for you to route all of your cables through. There's no need to string cables all through the middle of the case.

I could keep going on about this case but I'll stop here: This case was a dream for me to work with. I'm jealous that my server gets to have a nicer case than my main rig.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: -Easy setup
-Easy USB3.0 connector
-Plenty of room for huge graphics cards
-Great air circulation, plenty of room for extra fans & liquid cooling (2x pre-cut chimney fan slots and more)
-Aluminum construction, so it's super-light
-No sharp edges
-No tools required (some screws were tight though!)
-Side-mount hard drives with rubber suspension

Cons: -Great price-point
-Could use slightly better cable management
-Could use a motherboard tray

Other Thoughts: At 100% utilization, my GPU temp dropped eight degrees C! Five star case, would purchase again.
