3 out of 5 eggsSatisfied

Pros: Lightweight design, decent cable management opportunities. Clips seem to be constructed well and intuitively. Minimalist design is exactly how I wanted it.

Cons: The top rear fan hits the protective grate consistently. I have taken it off and troubleshooted to what I could, but with no luck. I will likely have to bend or take of the metal cover so it does not continue. It also squeaks whenever moved. Overall loud case.

Other Thoughts: I went from an Antec P182 beast that I absolutely loved. But it was old and dying. This case is not a proper replacement, but I do not regret buying the Lian Li. I was expecting it to be a little smaller, the specs are correct so I am not putting it in the "Con" section. The case works for me as a recent college grad, as I will not be settled for a while, this case will be easy to move. But am looking forward for a new nicer case.

5 out of 5 eggsEverything I'd hoped it would be.

Pros: Roomy, lightweight, superbly constructed, lots of room for big video cards and tall CPU coolers, stunning to look at.

Cons: "Flimsy" isn't the right word, but this case, being all-aluminum, does have some flex to it that might be disconcerting if you've only had steel cases. It is not weak by any stretch.

Other Thoughts: I'm using an older Thermalright 120 cooler on my CPU that requires at least 161mm of clearance in the case to install properly, so the PC-9N was on the short list of cases for me. I'm happy to report that it fits well here. The channels built into the back side of the chassis are a nice feature for builders with cable management OCD like me. I had to order a 3rd filter screen from Lian-Li because I added a 2nd front case fan. In my case, I simply "borrowed" the one under the power supply and installed it behind the front bezel until the new one arrives. No big deal.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst Lian-Li Case

Pros: This is my first Lian-Li case and I loved it. Always wanted to try this brand but ended up getting other case due to price.
- Great quality aluminum materials all around the case
- Light weight
- Power bottom and USB port located at top for easy access
- Anti-vibration design
- Large video card spacing
- Quiet fans
- Price is good for an all aluminum Lian-Li case

Cons: - No top fan installation port
- Only 3x 3.5 HDD and 1x 2.5 HDD slot

Other Thoughts: Side panel gets hot when video card is fully loaded, I have the EVGA 780 Classified version so there is no space to install extra side fan, which is crucial for video card cooling.

3 out of 5 eggsGood features and quality materials but lacks of care in assembly

Pros: -sleek, modern looking
-extremely light for a mid-tower case due to rail-mount design
-excellent build quality
-rubber anti-vibration grommets for fans, power supply, side panels, and hard drives
-ability to mount up to 5 fans
-ability to change orientation of hard drive cage
-quiet fans

Cons: -many scratches on inside of case
-pre-installed standoffs and no tools included to remove them
-small heatsink motherboard cut-out (had to remove my motherboard to install cooler back plate)
-many sharp edges (partially shredded my Corsair flat cables)
-lacks room behind motherboard tray to hide cables
-generally poor cable management
-lacks 2nd dust filter for 2nd optional 140mm fan
-lacks dust filter for side panel fans
-only two fans included

Other Thoughts: Initially I thought my case was an open box item due to the many visible scratches on the inside and the pre-installed motherboard standoffs. Newegg told me the case was brand new so I suspect it is was the lack of care at their assembly plant. The exterior was flawless, so I did not RMA it. As for the motherboard standoffs, they are extremely difficult to remove and no tools were included to remove them, Lian Li should have allowed the builder to install the standoffs themselves, it would've saved the them and the builder a lot of time. My motherboard was slightly smaller than the pre-installed stand offs, so I just used the holes that were available and did not bother removing the other standoffs. My last Lian Li case (PC-7B Plus II) was flawless inside and out. Disappointed to see Lian Li dropping in quality control.

5 out of 5 eggsUber nice case

Pros: this case has the looks! brushed aluminum finish with sleek minimalist design, what more can you ask for? Well there's more the entire case is aluminum constructed, extremely light and durable. The interior is quite roomy with a unique motherboard mounting system that increases airflow to the back of the motherboard, and makes cable routing a breeze with the use of zip ties. However the price for a premium lian-li case is what takes the cake for me

Cons: I would like to see a top mesh for additional airflow or water cooling mounting on the top of the case, but i don't think that would fit in the style of this particular case, as it is more of a minimalist oriented case.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat, but single use

Pros: Lightweight. Never groan moving your computer again. Very professional looking. Rubber bumpers for sound isolation in most places. Thumbscrews in most places for handy access.

Cons: Seems to use the same standoffs as my old PC-A05B, which rusted and made it impossible to remove the old motherboard. Since the aluminum has a tendency to strip as well, this means you are buying a premium case for possibly only a single generation computer. Motherboard tray is not removable, which also makes alteration more difficult.

The PC-A05B has a very convenient hot-mounting rail which combines with the rubber bumpers to make installing new HDD's a snap. This one has no such thing, and that's worth an egg already. Maybe HDD's are a thing of the past and should just always be external, I dunno.

Other Thoughts: Despite all the annoyances, you can't beat the convenience of a 20 lb case.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Well constructed case and tastefully designed
Good workmanship
Light Weight
Accomodates 2.5" SSD's without 3.5" adapter
No vestigial legacy stuff
quiet fans and rubber grommets to dampen hard drive and fan noise
Pre-installed motherboard standoffs matched my board :)

Cons: Hard to route cables behind motherboard
Power and reset wires are practically in the top 5.25" bay. Be careful when installing your DVD drive in that bay.

Other Thoughts: Its a good buy. I always wanted a Lian Li case and I'm glad I finally bought one. The build quality is good and the design is tastefully restrained.

I like the fact that this case isn't full of legacy stuff like firewire and a floppy bay either.

Make sure your power supply has a long enough CPU power cable to get from the bottom of the case to the top of your motherboard.
