4 out of 5 eggsdecent case

Pros: This case has a very classy appearance. The included fans are so quiet, you barely know they're running. It has a fairly solid feel to it and the layout seems logical. I threw in a standard sized Corsair CX500M PSU, a Gigabyte GA-H97M-D3H micro ATX MB and a core i5 with stock heatsink & fan and they fit just fine. It has its own optical drive bezel which is removable.

Cons: The raised threaded posts that you screw the MB into are in fixed positions. They connected with most of the MB screw positions, but missed an important one near the SATA connectors. I would prefer it if they had threaded holes in all possible positions and let my insert my own posts. There are no 2 1/2" bays. The 3 1/2" bays do not have the usual screw slots in them. They have something there - but it's not anything I've ever seen before. As a result, I was unable to properly mount the SilverStone 2 1/2" bay converter which holds my SSD. For the price, it could be sturdier.

1 out of 5 eggsNot Impressed

Pros: Looks Good.

Cons: 1) feels cheap and flimsy
2) No support for 2.5" hd/ssd
3) Expensive

Other Thoughts: I purchased this case because it had the look I wanted for my htpc build but upon receipt I am very disappointed with this case. For the price of the case, I expected a much higher quality product.

The metal is thin and feels very cheap, flimsy and bends easy. No support for 2.5" hd/ssd. An additional adapter is needed to install an ssd.
For the price of this case, your better off looking at something else.

5 out of 5 eggsSleek and sturdy HTPC Case

Pros: Nice looking case that won't look out of place with AV components. Case is fairly sturdy (with all the braces installed). The two 70mm x 70mm x 15mm fans supplied, while not PWM, are nice and quiet.

Cons: I couldn't fit any fans along the left side of the case once my PSU was installed -- not even enough room for the 15mm deep fans. (Seasonic SS-400FL2)

The cross-arm that holds one of the drive bays sits right on top of the power connection on my motherboard (ASUS GRYPHON Z97), so I had to leave it out. Thankfully I only needed one drive bay, and there's another underneath the 5.25" bay.

Other Thoughts: Case can hold up to _six_ 70mm fans, three along each side, though you may find it challenging to fit them in. With most motherboards I think you'll have to use 15mm deep fans in the back two slots on the right side of the case -- there's not enough room for a 25mm between the motherboard and the side of the case.

If you buy additional fans, make sure you also buy some black fan screws to match the case.

4 out of 5 eggsHTPC Monster

Pros: Very clean design, sleek look in my TV stand. I wish more people would embrace low profile. The supplied 70mm fans are very quiet.

Cons: Hard drive bay sits on motherboard power connection and a low profile internal usb3.0 connector had to be ordered to fit also. (this was with a ASRock x99m killer motherboard) There is no easy way to mount a SSD unless you have a full 3.5" adapter for it. The shortened version (2 screws per side instead of 3) cannot be mounted. Only half of my CPU fan is visible through the ventilation provided in the case lid. It is a 120mm fan though.

Other Thoughts: Obviously limited to low profile components. I picked up a GeForce 750Ti and dual TV tuner that seem to get the job done nicely though. I did also install a cabinet fan with this, which lowered the CPU temperature 10 degrees Celsius on load.

5 out of 5 eggsLian Li HTPC case

Pros: Well built with smooth edges. Good room for a media case. Extra screws a big plus.

Cons: Mounting holes in hard drive supports rather large. Had to use washers so screws would not slip through. A minor problem and not enough to lose an egg over.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if it came with PWM fans. I would have paid the extra few dollars.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh quality

Pros: Very well built, everything fit with little problem.

Cons: Tight, but I knew that. Could use small door over front connections but not enough to lose an egg.

Other Thoughts: Had to file back of case so I could insert an cablecard into Ceton infinitv 4 tuner card, but didn't have that much filing to do. I might make an small bracket so I can solidly mount infinitv coax connector on as an form of strain relief because of the small attachment wire to card. Still that is not enough to lose an egg.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality

Pros: Extremely sturdy high quality case. Comes with two 70" fans, not a scratch on it, and all the parts necessary to put everything together, including extras of almost everything. The case even contained a usb3 to usb2 adapter for the front panel. Fits miniITX motherboard perfectly, tonnes of space, may be possible to fit three hard drives as well as a dvd drive, but it is only built for two.

Cons: Expensive, but they pulled out all of the stops so I believe it was worth it.
