3 out of 5 eggsPretty good for air cooling, not for water cooling

Pros: It's big- that's why I bought it. I needed room for long GPUs, plus a big CPU tower cooler on a full-size ATX board, plus a large power supply. It fits all that without breaking a sweat, you'll have plenty of room to maneuver inside the case. Has plenty of room for intake and output fans too, using 120mm's- with everything closed it's quiet. The brushed aluminum look is great, but see the Cons below.

Cons: Now that I'm moving on to water cooling, this case really doesn't accommodate radiators at all. There's no mounting in the top, even though there's a ton of unused space; you MIGHT be able to get away with mounting a 140x280 radiator in place of the front two 140mm fans, but the depth would probably be a problem. Other than that, there's really nowhere to put a radiator.
Second, I'm not happy with the quality of the case components- the door/hinge, and the top connector door, both feel flimsy. The hinge for the door to the top connectors (USB and audio) was broken by a very lightweight pair of headphones- the door should have won that fight. When I open the main front door to the case, it makes a scraping noise when it gets 80% open, I cant figure out why, but it really detracts from the quality score.
Third- the aluminum looks nice, but you better not touch it with anything that might scratch. Anything metal with edges can scratch the black, leaving a bright metal-colored mark/scrape- which does NOT help the appearance. Watch out for the feet on CD/DVD drives, metal parts on headphones, anything that might sit on top of a computer case. You don't have to push either, just moving it across the finish can scrape it. This REALLY leaves me feeling that the quality isn't there. I've had black aluminum cases before that were much more resistant to scratching (C**ler M**ter) and they felt much higher quality. So, I'm "scratching" (heh) Lian Li off my list of suppliers.

Other Thoughts: It wouldn't take much to make this into a 5-star case, but Lian Li hasn't updated it. Update the internal mounts to accommodate more radiators and less drives; put a better finish on it; and make the doors better, and you'd have a winner. But then it would probably turn into a $400 case.

3 out of 5 eggsGood case but...

Pros: Good overall construction and a solid feeling case when carried around. The brushed aluminum exterior really portrays this case as a quality product. A large side window showing off just the interesting bits. Aluminum is lighter than steel (duh). Nice clean look with no unnecessary designs to make the case look immature.

Cons: The rubber grommets are not very strong and can be easily dislodged while trying to route cables through them. The case seems to lack many features that seem standard on other cases at this same price point. No cable management loops for tying down. No fan filters for any of the exterior case fans. It appears the front 3 intake fans are attached to the hard drive cage, and the hard drive cage is just one large cage, so you can't just remove the ones you don't need. There is a pointless lock on the front that just makes the door slightly harder to open. Seriously, just a firm pull and you can still open it while it is "locked".

Other Thoughts: A potentially great case held back by a lack of features that should have been included at this price point.

1) no cable loops
2) no dust filters
3) case fan slots only accept one size
4) not a good case if you want to water cool more than just the CPU

4 out of 5 eggsStill Great Case

Pros: All Aluminum , No cheap Plastic , with the exception of the power button I think almost everything is aluminum.

Cons: Not really many, requires a few set screws to make sure drives don't move if you move case around.
Power button on top (when you have a locking door this is kinda stupid)

Wish it would support a 360 Rad on top without modification.

Other Thoughts: Wanted to correct my other review , You can flip this door and it will still lock. NOW its still stupid to have a locking door and the power button on the top.

Outside the higher end Silverstone and Case Labs cases this is about the best you can get , and its less money , the corsairs are nice but they have plastic bits that tend to break.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Great Case , Aluminum Built to last. Don't really care for the power on top now.

Cons: Power button on top, why have a locking door? older version of case power button was inside door.

Other Thoughts: Have an older version of this case with same front door, This is for Gary , it takes some work but you can flip the door. However once flipped it will not lock so if you do not care to lock it you can flip it (why put power on top with a locking door?) 1. Unfasten door front fram door frame (vertical row of screws on each side of door) mine had some adhesive I had to break loose also, then unfasten 3 screws across top and bottom of front door frame lip. 3rd put bottom on top, top on bottom swapping left and right sides of frame and flipping over at same time, reattach to front, reattach to frame. Door now opens other way but lock is on wrong side. OR move computer to other side of desk :)

3 out of 5 eggsits big and roomy

Pros: the case has a lot room. there are many places for the hard drives a lot of slots. it can hold three big video cards with no problem

Cons: the front door opens the wrong direction for me for me. be better if it did not have a door at all. way to many slots for hard drives, like 15 or more. most persons would use maybe two or more only. has only two slots for disc drives

Other Thoughts: it big, is not easy to move around when installing hardware. will support anything you want to put in it with an ATX format. no front jacks they are all in the top area. luckily the power cables are reached there positions
