5 out of 5 eggs9 Years!

Pros: I've now owned this case for 9 years - 2006, to 2015. When I got this case, it was the cheapest "high quality" case on the market, competing against expensive Antec, Lian Li, Thermaltake, Silverstone, and Zalman. Then all the "budget" and lower-quality brands like Xigmatek, NZKT, Raidmax, and others....and I took one look at the Centurion 5 - and fell in love with its simple design, good construction and fair price. 9 years later, it's in still in good condition one of the fans is just starting to fail (front,) but worked just fine for 9 years. The back fan is still fine, the tool-less drive locks still work after multiple rebuilds. Quality at $50, for a $150 product :D

Cons: It's a teensy bit of a heavy case, but it's very well constructed. The only real problem is the lack of cable management options. The space between the back-panel and the back of the MB tray is very narrow, so the only real space to stash cables and route them is behind the 3.5" bays; or coil cables and stuff them into the external bays. Not a problem if you have a modular PSU, but back when I built it, Modular PSUs weren't mainstream (or cheap.)

Other Thoughts: If I could buy it again, I would. If coolermaster wants to re-release this case with update cable management features (more space behind mb, cable routing holes with rubber/plastic grommets, etc....) that'd be awesome!!

5 out of 5 eggsnever disappointed

Pros: Lots of room. Easy to configure and simple to cable. Sturdy, simple, still on the job. Processor always has run cool only using one fan in this roomy case. This was my first build and I was not disappointed in the least.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsLooks great, solidly built, lots of room inside

Pros: Easy to work with. Plenty of drive bays. Cooling works well. No problem installing a large CPU cooler.

Cons: The power on/off switch doesn't feel very robust. I've always been very gentle with it.

Other Thoughts: I built a Windows Server 2003 box in one of these cases in September 2007. I've never had a serious issue with the case. If I need to buy another, I'll consider this brand again without hesitation.

5 out of 5 eggsBest affordable looking case ever!

Pros: Very affordable and a good case by far.

Cons: Some parts in the inside and back are very fragile because of being plastic. Front USB ports became loose after moderate use.

5 out of 5 eggsSturdy

Pros: Keeps everything really cool, excellent airflow. Not for any of those mambi-pambi builders that want a nice light plastic case. Solid. Coolermaster does it again.

Cons: Wish there were more fan slots, but the case is designed to not have many and stay cool so no egg off there

4 out of 5 eggsGood case but dated

Not plastic

I've built 2 machines with this case. the machine I'm writing this review from (built in 2009) and a new machine for a client. for a budget case, this one Shines. the tool-less design offers a really easy build.

Cons: no removable MB panel:
- bit me once when i installed an aftermarket cooler and had to disassemble the whole machine.

Cable management.
- near the top where the PSU mounts there is no gap to slip cables through. my psu isn't modular. those two facts combined made cable management harder than it needed to be.

LGA 115
- my clients build was with an LGA 1155 CPU. the stand off holes in this tower do not support LGA 115. I had to drill new holes in the case for stand offs.

Other Thoughts: I love that its not flashy. i would put this in pro's but to some that's a negative.

cable management in the new build with a modular PSU was significantly easier.
