Form meets function to create Cooler Master's Stacker RC-832. This monolithic tower supports an outstanding nine external drive bays, each capable of holding either a 5.25" or 3.5" drive. These drives have nothing to fear either, sitting safely behind a sculpted door. The ever important USB ports are taken seriously, too, with four up front, yet sufficiently separated to keep from getting in each other's way.

Internally this case is just as business like. The four 3.5" bays hard drives are well laid out. The cooling of this tower is where it truly shines. It comes with three 120mm fans for use in the front, back and side, and then goes overboard with side slots for an additional four 120mm fans. When used in combination, there is very little that these fans can’t keep cool.

Then to make installation and maintenance nearly an automatic action, the design geniuses made all aspects of this case tool free. The coupled that with excellent cable management, and a removable motherboard tray and hard drive cage. Make it easy on yourself. Get a case that will support your frequent "tweaks" and changes without skinning your knuckles or cramping your hands. This case will leave your hands healthy for manipulating that keyboard!

5 out of 5 eggsPower button issues?

Pros: Great heavy duty case. Excellent cooling.

Cons: heavy

Other Thoughts: Those people having problems with power button light is user error. There is nothing wrong with the button, it acts that way if its not correctly hooked up.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: This is a big case. All aluminum. Plenty of room for everything AND plenty of room to work. Removable mobo-tray. It comes with 2 fans and has room for 5 or 6 more at least. 2 usb ports on the top and 2 in the front. Great air-flow.

Cons: This case should be priced around $150 or $160. The side panels are pretty flimsy and they rattle with any vibration whatsoever. The optical drive tooless locks could be better. The aluminum plate in back that holds the psu is really flimsy and I had to dremel 2 of the holes to get all 4 screws attached. If you need to add or replace a hd, then the entire module must come out from the back. This case is REALLY heavy when you get everything installed, so don't plan on moving it around alot.

Other Thoughts: This is a good case. I would have given it 5 stars but I think the price needs to come down. Wait for a rebate. I got mine in January for $160 and a $60 rebate. A Xigmatek HDT-S1283 heatsink will fit fine if you leave a fan out on the side-panel. You can even install the heatsink outside and it clears when you side everything back in.

5 out of 5 eggsawesome case!

Pros: I've got a lot to say so i'm gonna be brief. Its big. It holds 9 5-1/2" drives. You can switch out the HD rack for one that holds 5 drives if you need it. It has dust filters. It holds up to 11 120mm fans. It lets a good air cooling setup compete with most water cooled ones. Even if you water cool, you can mod the side panel a bit to accept two double sized radiators and use the fan brackets you took off to add fans to the front of the case (they clip where the drive bay covers are). The metal of the front door is so solid and thick you could grill steaks on it. The metal of the chassis is thick enough as not to resonate with the fans so it doesn't get too loud.

Cons: The USB ports on the top get dusty after a while. The front door makes a lound "CLANG" when it closes. The side panels are pretty loose even after locking them. They and the top panel are pretty flimsy so don't sit on/kick/punch the case. The bottom vent doesn't come with the filter the side and front panels did. The wheel locks tend to lock on their own (but when they are unlocked the wheels are smooth). Also, with 10 80CFM fans running full blast you are looking at a good ~50W of power, so take that into consideration when buying a PSU (1A = 12W on a 12V current so check your fans).

Other Thoughts: Seriously, only buy this case if you want to air cool, as there are much nicer and better quality cases for water cooling. But for air cooling, you will easily outperform any water cooling system that falls short of "amazing". Piece of advice - make sure you get one of the "orb" heatsinks for your CPU - either zalman or thermaltake. Between the fan built in to those and the fan that gets mounted right in front of it, they will recieve a greater benefit from the airflow than heatsinks that move air sideways. Also, please do not waste your money by getting quiet low-rpm fans for the side panel. Instead, get extremely high CFM ones and get a heavy duty controller (sunbeam sells ones that handle up to 30w a channel) to keep them at the speed you need (low while web surfing, high while gaming).

1 out of 5 eggs

Pros: it looks good.

Cons: my Silverstone OP1000 PSU doesn't line up with the back plate, so it's just sitting behind it. the front USB cables aren't connected, so i can't use them. if i wasn't nearly finished and in such a rush to use a new computer, i'd get a refund. thanks Cooler Master!

Other Thoughts: i should've bought a different case.

4 out of 5 eggsWICKED SICK - to my stomach

Pros: I love this case when I got it! It's still the coolest looking case I've ever owned! I get comments on it all the time. I have all RED lights and zalman fans in it.
I got this case because my old regular case was overheating massivly with 8800 SLI config.
This case full of fans gives enough cooling for SLI and Quad Core OC + lots of hard drives.

Cons: Black case shows marks BADLY! HAve to use felt cloth towipe off at least once a week.
I HAD to remove the thin plastic air filters from the fan bays.
They restricted a lot of air, and eventually they came loose rubing the fans.
Now there's alot more dust, but it's worth it. I just keep the air clean in the room best I can with a large purifier.
This case is very loud!
You better budget $100 for fans to fill this thing up, or else it cools poorly. BE sure to get >80CFM 120mm Fans, I recomend the quietest ones possible! The case does nothing to shield your ears from the blowing fans, even with headphones on in game the case very is audible.
I got a Zalman fan speed controller for all the fans, it looks cool too. The case is more quier then before, but still VERY loud compared to a normal case. Normal case would be like my CM 690also full of 120mmfans but is HUSH quiet, barely audible to the naked ear.
You cannot buy the BTX kit for this case anymore, I am disapointed with that.

Other Thoughts: This case was cool whenI got it but I look forward to replacing it honestly.
However, I have not found a case I'm realy exited enough to move everything out of this case yet.
The slide out mobo tray is veyr inconveniance since you have to take off both side panels to slide it out.
With all the panels off it's not any easier to get to the componensts with the tray outside of th case, since the case is so big and roomy inside.
You MUST slide the tray out to install or remove a card.

5 out of 5 eggsbest case

Pros: great case lots of room and yes this case is BIG.
also about the noise ppl are talking about, i have no problem at all with any noise inside the case.

Cons: 1 little thing that did not make me happy was that the side of the case the black stuff was scratched off a little

Other Thoughts: i would not pay over $200

4 out of 5 eggsFinish the product before shipping it

Pros: This thing is huge. It has plenty of room to put whatever you want in it. I even found room for my kitchen sink! I added 6 20mm Antec fans, which in turn dropped my MB temps from 45C to 33C and my cpu temp from 65C (ouch!) to around 50C. Overall highly impressed. Once again the Egg delivered!

Cons: Now for the bad news. This case took me 2 hrs longer to assemble because of the USB cables were not hooked up to the front panel. So I had to figure out how to disassemble the front panel without breaking it (not an easy task). I would of gave it a 5 if it wasn't for this problem.

Other Thoughts: Cooler Master delivers a good design but they might want to check their QA system because if this was tested before shipment.... Well I'd hate to see China announce another recall.

4 out of 5 eggsBig, Cool, Rattles

Pros: This is a pretty large case, and although it does not have dual PSU bays like the first Cooler Master Stacker tower did, it makes up for it with usability features like easier removal of the front drive bay covers, four fan mounts on a swinging door, and other amenities.

Cons: The side doors are kind of loose on the frame of the chassis. They do not screw into it, but instead are held on with one clip apeice that works like a retaining switch. This allows them to rattle around if the case is touched or moved.

Other Thoughts: A really good case, besides the rattly doors. If you have a lot of hardware that you want to pack in, this is likely the case for you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Big Case

Pros: This case is huge. The motherboard tray is well designed and easy to mount. If you can't get your equipment in this one, you just have too much equipment.

Cons: I had a small problem with the motherboard tray lock. It's made of plastic and one of the pivots on it was cracked from the factory. When I first pulled the tray out of the case it came apart. I will be contacting Coolermaster to see if they will send me a replacement.

Other Thoughts: If you are using any kind of custom cooler for your cpu, be sure to check the measurement from mb to the optionl four fan mount on the side of the computer case. When I installed the Asus Silent Square cpu cooler, it was necessary to leave out the top left fan to accomodate the cpu cooler. If you choose not to use the optional mount, there is tons of room for everything including your pet alligator.
