Beautiful, sturdy case for a great price.
- Pros: First off, I must say I love the aesthetic of this case. Too many cases nowadays are gimmicky and have windows and all kinds of cheap plastic junk glued to them. No thanks. Less is more, if you ask me. And this case delivers there. It's very sturdy, which is a very good thing, and doesn't feel like it's going to break if a breeze blows by. The swing open front bezel is also a really cool, stylish addition. The inside of the case is what you would expect, nice but nothing special, and it took all the parts I had with ease.
- Cons: The tool-less bays are kind of a pain to install with. But they aren't completely busted. For me it wasn't a big deal. It does smudge easily, but anything that looks this sleek will. The little blue plastic thing on the front of the case isn't my favorite part, I may see if I can't remove it and add something a little nicer.
- Other Thoughts: What I installed was an Asus P5N32-E Sli mobo, an Intel C2D E6600 CPU, a Geforce 8800GTX GPU, a Thermaltake W0106RU 700W PSU, a Pioneer DVD/CD drive, and a Seagate Barracuda 320 GB HDD. Great system.
STURDY n' Looks GREAT
- Pros: *This case is not Flimsy what so ever!
*Sturdy construction all over! Aluminum door panels slide smoothly! *The power/rest buttons on top are of great convenience! As well the USB/1394. *Actual solid black color is not nearly depicted in the pictures!!! Excellent paint job, does not smear easily w/ handprints!!
- Cons: *Price dropped w/ free shipping 2days after purchase...

Excellent chassis
- Pros: beautiful construction, no-tools design works well, heavy-duty construction, excellent ventilation
- Cons: the USB, firewire, mic and headphone jacks being located on top of the case can be inconvenient if you have this case on your desk, and if you place it on a carpeted floor, the doors can drag along the carpet . . . still, minor cons for such a nice case.
- Other Thoughts: RMA'd the first one because the doors were damaged (top arms were bent) and didn't close right and, true to form, Newegg's "Eggcelent" customer service came through and I had a replacement in less than a week. Way to go, Newegg!
Excellent Mid Tower
- Pros: Slick, easy to set up. Cables are nicely organized. Nice stainless finish.
- Cons: None
Great Case
- Pros: Lots and lots of room. Pretty much if you can buy the part, you can fit it in this case. Nice layout and easy to work on or to build out. Case is SOLID. No bending, or fiddling with side doors to get them on. Over all the case is very quiet. Between the thick opening doors and the bulk of the case, nice sound deafening. Seems to do well on keeping the temp's down, I don't have lots of fans, so I attribute that to good airflow/case design.
At the current price this this is a deal.
- Cons: It is fairly heavy before you build it out. If you put in a good Power Supply, 3 or 4 Hard drives and some disk drives, etc you'll get a work out picking the completed PC up. Not really a con if you don't lug your pc around. I don't so not a problem for me but thought you should know just in case. Specs say it is 30 lbs empty. So count on a high 30 LB to low 40 LB finished product once you add everything.
- Other Thoughts: While the clam shell doors are neat, you get to the point were you will just leave them open. I guess that is me just being lazy. It does look great with the doors closed.
No problems with the case and I have had it for over two years. Replaced another case that had a bad on button. This case has solidly built parts from top to bottom. I paid more than the current price and don't feel bad at all. Buy it and be happy, unless you want to carry it around with you. You will need a dolly or hand truck!
